      Yep.... Still had to call to Chie to come help get it off the planer..... But still, But Still In my wildest dreams. a slab that size... Nope never. Maybe with three healthy men, by my self..... Nope Never. Good comment BTW.

      I don't know you but I suspect that's not entirely true. He does great work, no doubt, but the whole project is distilled into a serenely presented 20-30 minute video. I don't know that you can fully glean the extent of his concentration from this presentation. If you can focus on making furniture for 20yrs, you surely have the same abilities to focus!

      The dovetail brace is a variation of the American Shaker joint used on their step stools and benches. But which came first? I love it!

    Furniture made by a true master craftsman! Beautiful. and following all the rules of a true master.. You have my respect and awe over your work. Most makers seem to overlook "killing" of the joints -- so much a masters technique for tight lasting joints. One thing I missed was a good look at the finished bow tie inserts.

    An astonishing level of mastery- Mathematics and the ability for everything to be synchronized level and plumb is beyond mind boggling-- if any others tried this within a 1000 tries they may get close and you nail it on the 1st.

    The most beautiful part of this table is below the surface….. but for all of us who are take part in woodwork be it professionally or otherwise know where to look! 😀
    Superb work and the dovetails are just beautiful.
    I spend a lot of time learning from people like you and have watched hours upon hours of yours and others content, but the only channel my wife watches with me is this one.

    I am fascinated by this video. Especially the design of the angled braces. They are absolutely accurate, not tight, just the way they should be. No gaps, perfect fit. There are a lot of sizes that have to fit. Great! It was a pleasure to watch this well done video.
