Hello Friends! There’s a detailed written recipe for you in the description box of this video. As always, I love to hear from you guys! Let me know if you try this recipe 😊
Ah looks delicious. The wetting the parchment paper trick I have never seen, what a great idea. And as always your videos are beautifully shot, practical, with clear instructions and without nonsensical and unnecessary chatter. Thanks
this is a "package meal" thank you for including all your ingredients as usual, cuz I need to gather all is needed then watch the video while preparing to cook❤🇵🇭🇨🇦
Purchased a new ceramic pot big enough to double the recipe and it was fantastic, both of my kids loved it! thank you again for all these great recipes.
Looks really good❤❤❤ in France we have a same regional dish with white beans instead of chickpeas. But we also put like old baguette pieces in it. One pan thing you know 😅. Its also with the vegetables you used but then spices with salt, peper, thyme a bayleave or two, two chopped tomatoes , some stockwater with vegetable cube and tomato paste mixed under it. Two cloves of garlic in it. And we also put some rosemary on top of it. We also put it in the oven 30 min 200 degrees celsius. You recepi is indeed a nice twist on my childhood recepi. Im gonna try it❤❤❤
Bonjour, merci pour cette recette que j'ai hâte de tester 😋. Le seul plat français que je connais et qui est veggie et vegan à la fois c'est de la ratatouille.
@@FoodImpromptu its actually a post war recepi, its for not trowing anything away. So old bread was used up this way. Baguette is nice but have the tendency to become rock hard after a few hours. Like this you could re use your left over bread in the end of the week and make a dish with left over vegetables. Simple but filling , and nothing got wasted! Also people did not have money for meat so the white bean was to replace them.
I watch you with so much love ,respect and pleasure from Toronto-Canada🇨🇦❤️ You gave me a sense of interior peace of mind watching you and everything that I see and hear (the background music that you chose)makes my soul and my taste buds in my mouth so happy. Thank you for everything that you do. I admire and respect you a lot and I tell all my friends about your channel. I even hooked my husband to watch you😉
I received an answer from you,I got so emotional even at 48 ,which is my age 😉, what an honour 🙏thank you so much! Without trying to brush you off you are my number one food UA-camr to watch and believe me I subscribed to a lot of very good ones. All the best to you from the bottom of my ❤️ from 🇨🇦
Hi lovely 😊 I personally think you take the award for best slice and dice in category!!! I learned something new from you today. I've never even Thought of, wetting parchment paper! Excellent recipe you've shared! Thanks for being you, and have a wonderful week! 😘
Wow, never thought about wetting the parchment paper! Putting this in the rotation. Love the different options! I wonder how it would turn out if I mashed the can of peas in a food processor, added some olive oil, along with the other ingredients, it could be like an upgraded hummus for the pita? Bless you and your home!🙏🏽
I have just made it and eaten it with rice. It is absolutely yummy. The only charge I made was to substitute ground cardamom for the cumin as I don't particularly like it. Next time I might try garam masala.
Made this tonight, thank for posting this recipe. I had to swap the red onion for sweet yellow, the parsley for fresh basil and the couscous for farro. Also, didn't have pita bread so I sauteed some mushrooms with bok choy and steamed some orange cauliflower as side dishes for this dinner. Me and my vege friend loved it! Your channel is our favorite. We learn so much from you!
Just about to cook this in my newly acquired air fryer… fingers crossed. When I saw it was an oven bake I thought yes, let’s try the air fryer. Just love your recipes, I’ve made quite a few here in crete Greece. Difficult to find tinned chickpeas here, but I believe dried may taste a little better, as I’ve read. Thank you. As most people say, it’s great to see you assemble the recipe without a lot of chit chat… however, it may be lovely to hear your voice…🧐
Absolutely loving this One Pan Baked Chickpea Recipe! 🌱🍽 Such a brilliant idea for easy, budget-friendly vegetarian and vegan meals. Chickpeas are total rockstars, and you've showcased their deliciousness perfectly. Thanks for the inspiration - can't wait to try this in my own kitchen! 🥦👏 #ChickpeaMagic

Sure aluminum foil will work just fine. I just gave an option of parchment paper for people who do not prefer foil :) Also, while using the foil just lay it on top (as shown in the video), this will allow the steam to escape and prevent the dish from getting soggy. I don’t recommend wrapping the entire top.

Amazing! Thank you so much for the recipe ❤
How can I know the amount of nutrients in this meal ?
I will be cooking this for one person, (me). Can it be portioned and frozen? How long will it keep in the fridge?.
What can I use instead of oil thankyou kindly
🧡🧡🧡
How is wet parchment paper different from using foil?
👍👍👍😋😋😋
Can foil be used instead of parchment
Yes you can :)
Which tomato paste r u using?
So Chickpeas, Carrots and Salsa…got it😭
What is the purpose for baking?

Great recipes but we need metric to make them here in Europe.
😅😊😊
Ok, I’ll bite - why parchment and not simply foil? Does it steam this way? Live the simplicity of the dish. Thx.
Sure aluminum foil will work just fine. I just gave an option of parchment paper for people who do not prefer foil :)
Also, while using the foil just lay it on top (as shown in the video), this will allow the steam to escape and prevent the dish from getting soggy. I don’t recommend wrapping the entire top.
Looks good but its crying out for a bit of sauce!
This why people make fun of me when I tell them I don’t eat meat.
