- We are going to go over 5 of the things I wish I would have known about the Seneschal Pet in Season 3 of Diablo 4 (The Season of the Construct). There is some really crazy cool things going on this season. Let's get at it!

Great video man. I just hit level 68 as a rogue. My pet finally unlocked level 9 for the healing stone. It's so OP... I understand there's problems with Diablo 4... However I saw so many videos where people are talking bad about the pet, but yet I see the pet doesn't have more then like 4 to 5 upgrades at max in those videos lol.....
Awesome, thanks man! That's cool, I still don't have any lvl 10 stones, but today I think I will. Blizzard also patched a few days ago and reworked the stone leveling completely, it feels far more rewarding then on season launch.
I'm doing a Pack Leader Druid build (it's still low level) but giving the pet a second target arc and poison on ranged attacks has been helpful since a couple of my passives are triggered off poisoned enemies. Also it gets my crit % which is also a nice bonus. The vampire powers where better thus far but this is the closest thing we've had to a D2 merc which I definitely missed.
That's awesome man! I would love to see companion and pet builds finally get to a place where at least one build is top tier.

@@gergnotsloh I would count end-game as world tier four, pushing to lvl 100 and seeing the stones i'm using close to max level.

Bout level 26. Im optimistic im sure the season will be fun i just hope they keep improving.
Before I watch I just wanted to say as a die hard Necro player my little pet gets obscured by all my other pets. I'll be looking to use this guy as more of a defensive pet as I only play hardcore.
Also going to focus on one character instead of 4. So I can actually get one to level one hundred Instead of a bunch of sixty and seventy level characters

Just made it to wt3 last night and have been leveling up my pet since. I gotta say my pet is getting stronger. Starting to enjoy it as I'm scaling up my damage. And to think all these players complaining about the pet.

I wish the Seneschal, even if they didn't let it pick up gold and mats, would at least pick up all the shattered stones and cores for you.
That would be cool. Hopefully they add it in a patch :)
how and what quest/mission do you gota do? i got it in season 3 but i dont know how or what i did to get it, now season 4? im lost?? i did the campaign and everything?? WHERE DO I TALK TO WHO EVER TO GET THE CONSTRUCT??
That season ended last week and season 4 doesn't have constructs.
I wish our pet looked a bit more distinct. He keeps disappearing into the crowd.
I kept losing my pet, too. I was running the stone that gives him taunt and he kept getting held up off screen with a pile of monsters on him.
wish i hadnt done the quest at all personally. now im stuck with a pet that actually makes things worse lol

@@OwnModeGaming mobs will chase it instead of stacking up nice and neat for aoe, a problem cuz the dumb thing usually ends up trailing you because its to slow. especially annoying in kill all situations. its buffs/dmg are also negligible. especially for the time invested.
Edit: really common with teleporter mobs like vampires or elites in general. or even mobs with a charge or leap.
Thank you for a positive and helpful presentation. I don't get the negativity around this season. My seneschal (still level one stones) just wipes out non-elites. Can't wait to level them. You have a new sub. :)

What did you put on it please tell ! Mine basically does nothing
I'm curious what level you are. I didn't think they were doing much until I got into the 30s. Playing a barb. I have Pummel and Gyrate in the governing slots and support for Gyrate currently have electrocution mockery and fortify. For Pummel I have dusk, efficiency and swift. No clue it that is right-just stuck them in as I got them. They are all still just leveli 1 or 2.I am sure there are better combinations Currently at level 47 and find the pet helpful, tho admittedly not awesome.

I’m doing a necro build with minions. It’s been hilarious as I’m just overwhelming enemies with skeletons, Golem and pet 😅
I would love to see a minion build be top tier, this season!
Problem with a minion build is they set off traps in a vault which takes away your Zoltun warding. At least that's been my experience. Very pissed because it seems like they made them absolutely obsolete this season.
has anyone found out if the seneschall counts as minion/companion for relating skills? like setting of necro shadow procs.

It is freaking insane the lack of journal drops
A big ass notification tells you that duplicates adds XP to current stones
It's more they don't clarify how the points work. like why is it 10xp and where are we supposed to check it. It wasn't hard to find just not as clear as it could have been.
This was obvious in the blizzard camp fire chat, they said they will synergize with your build skills. Or use as a utility. I am most interested in the ability to remove monster shields, suppressors.
That would be nice. Suppressor can really be a pain.
Can you have the pet in eternal realm as well?
No, the pet isn't in eternal.
I suggest playing in world tier 1, it's much faster to level up that way.
I usually do, I just felt like mixing it up. The clears are usually so good with rogue. I did switch out the build to piercing arrow right after I made the video and the clears are much cleaner.
why u didnt ell how to get it?
Wish there was a way to engage in seasonal content if u choose to do campaign. At the start like everyone else.
Yeah, that would be cool. I think the issue is with them wanting to switch up the starting point and then you jump all over the map from season quest to quest. And the campaign has some linear movement between regions.
There's a benefit of doing the campaign first, when you eventually do the event you will be at a higher level and the drops will be better especially if you have gone to nightmare mode. Did this in season 1 and hearts recipes were higher, especially after doing the final boss.
I am thinking this will be the same with all the seasons. Fast track your construct creation.
Everyone who is playing S3 had to go thru the campaign. Why even have a campaign if New players could just skip it???
@@Justth1nk41nce I have done the campaign at launch of the game. I'm saying I would like to do it a 2nd time without feeling like I'm being penalized for it in a way.
@@Justth1nk41nce new players cannot skip the campaign. you need to complete it once to be able to skip it.
Are there any builds in D4 like the Inna Monk in D3?
I'm really not sure. I'll do some digging. What did you like most about the Inna monk play style?
@@OwnModeGaming running around with force move, not having to time or mash buttons all the time, high mobility with dash and your pets doing the entirety of the damage removing the need for precision left/right clicks
I haven't seen any builds that even get close. I think as they were developing d4 they actually purposely moved away from the feel of d3 builds. They intended to slow down the fighting and add more complex fight mechanics. I do hope that they move more in the direction of d3.
Also, minion damage is not really there.

cannot find quest to get seneschal
You have to make sure that you made a seasonal character and that you choose to skip the campaign. Then follow the seasonal quests that are colored a teal color.

Powerful is not the thing i noticed about it.
Yeah, I'm not seeing the dmg scaling very well. I'm a little disappointed, I'm still hoping it will get a lot better as we level the stones.
add chapters to your videos
1: how fast you get it. (covered in prelaunch info) 2: how you add abilities (covered in all pre-launch info) 3: it does status effects (covered in pre-launch info) 4: you level them up (i mean wut) 5: stones drop from crafts/vaults/altars...(if you mouse over them it tells you where they drop). This video should be called "I didn't look at the patch notes." You do you, but "wish i had known videos" are for people who've gone through the whole system covering things that are not figured out by people spent 5 minutes reading patch notes. The true "wish I had known" is how weak these things are and how pointless the season mechanic vaults are, since you use pearls to summon uber malphas in tier4 for the best drops. Soooooooooooo anyone spending pearls on vaults are wasting currency that should only be spent at the endgame.
also lol how will you ever recover from your deep character investment to level 27 which takes not even 30 minutes. maybe if you had known the pet does status effects the world would be different
I'm sorry I didn't follow your rules for wish I had known. I say at the beginning I went into this season blind. So, that means unlike last season, this season I didn't read the patch notes, watch the seasonal trailer, hit up forums, catch the dev update, etc... truly blind, like I think many people do. So, this video might just not be for you.
