Great video! It's the first one I've seen so far where someone actually goes into detail about the new crafting systems and breaks everything down in a clear and easy to understand way. Thanks for putting this together! One thought though.. I find it strange that people are using the term "brick" when you don't get the tempering rolls you want. That word just doesn't match up with what's actually happening and it's causing a lot of confusion from what I can tell. If you brick something, like a phone for instance, it's completely broken and unusable. If you find an item with 2 or even 3 greater affixes you want and you don't get the tempering results you want, the item isn't bricked.. it's just not going to be your end game item in that slot if you're hunting for perfection. It might be a brick in the eyes of a leaderboard chasing 1%er who wants to push their items to the limit, but for the vast majority of players, it can still be really strong for your build, so it definitely wouldn't be a brick to them.
Thanks, man! I get what you mean on the brick. They are still useable and can still be crazy powerful. That is true. I was thinking about it from the perfect min/max. I would still aim to get both tempers to at least be valuable, even if they are not perfect for the build. I kept getting bonuses to skills I wasn’t even using. It is also possible that they might be perfect for different builds as well.
Well let’s hope it’s not too bad not getting the tempering and master crafting I want is by far my biggest concern for the new season. If crafting doesn’t go your way you will have to use an item far weaker than it should be or you’ll have to get rid of it and pray you find another item exactly the same so you can try again with the tempering.
finally, a video where the new Tempering & Masterworking stuff didn't soar way over my head. Now I grasp it, thanks for the Ultimate Gear Loop guide at the end!

Good on yah man
the new crafting system is amazing, it could make almost anything viable and powerful, Greater Affixes need to be a different color loot beam and color in ur inventory, to give you that rush that you got something special... not just a roman numero next to the same color of a normal legendary
It wasn't mentioned in the vid, but for pit pushing you will want to level up all your glyphs beforehand. You may as well get xp while you level them up so I would suggest NM dungeons from L70-90.
Hi I'm new started last month when diablo hit game pass. Necro 100 rogue 94. Helltides was super free xp. The chests and mobs was so much easier and less monotonous than dungeons. Wt4 around level 65 boosted my rogue in a day to 90 I'm really enjoying this game and your vids seem super helpful. So thanks
@@jf2849 helltides team xp and potions. Basically sat doing helltides world bosses and legions all day. But if you get a good rhythm you can get all the chests in Htide and the mobs in-between rack up huge xp in wt4
I'm from Italy. Come from Diablo 1/2 generation and yiu are the only streamer that i look for. Thank you for the tips. I didn't hadthe luck to play the PTR so this guide sums it up. A big hug from Italy 🇮🇹
My pleasure my friend. Me and my guild will continue watching from the first video you'll make season 4 si please dont abandon us. You explain things plain and simple as it should be
I think it’d be SICK if once you defeated all the tormented Uber bosses, they drop a small charm. You go to the occultist and transmute all the small charms into the Diablo 2 charm where it’s + to skills to a certain class.
Thank you! Season 3 was a solid one to skip. I think for most players, skipping seasons that you’re not excited about would make the game more fun over time.
Except for the misinformation about greater affixes not rolling on gambled gear. Every piece of gear I used for the ptr came from the obol vendor. I even managed to get 4 pieces with triple roll greater affixes.
The Codex/aspects change is a game changer and hoestky I was surprised that the codex was initially lowest rolls only. I never used the codex once for my main. Cool mechanic but totally worthless considering no one settles for the lowest aspect unless levelling an alt.
I think because it was meant to just be a stopgap to basically nearly guarantee at least access to X. D3 kinda sucked being SO gear dependent, that one item could mean like 5 grift levels... Hell, they gave away sets to try to ensure your season start got a guaranteed boost.
Best explanation concerning CODEX & Armour! Just running Helltides should have the Aspects we need probably drop. Correct? I now understand the game a bit better so BIG thanks!
Awesome, ty! Yeah, helltides will definitely drop the aspects. I would also focus on the gambling for key aspects and gear. The gambling got a big upgrade.
Definitely, that would be fun. I can't decide if I want to start with either Druid or Barb. The Barb was so much fun in the PTR, but the druid was my first to lvl 100 and I haven't taken one into endgame since launch. Are you running Druid at season start?
Thanks, man! I'm definitely making content for the season. Guides and tips for sure. I haven't made build guides yet, but I'm definitely considering it for the season.
@@OwnModeGaming The strongholds never really had much loot, but when we go up a tier, the monsters are like 10-15 levels ahead of us, so we can go to strongholds where they are only 3 levels above us. The last boss drops loot now. At least 2 legendaries every kill.
So happy about helltides! They are one of my favorite activities. Can't wait for GRs...I mean the Pit So for the codex of power am I breaking down the leggos at the blacksmith or still doing extract aspect at the Occultist? Crafting is going to be great! S4 is going in the right direction! So many great changes, glad 1.0 finally released. S5 needs to make massive improvements to NMDs, they are so boring which makes glyph leveling horrible. Or at least give us a 2nd alternative for glyph leveling such as using the Pit for that would be nice Edit: forgot to say, great video, one of the better ones, keep up the great work
Aspects breakdown at blacksmith and automatically add to the codes. I can't agree more with NMD and glyph leveling changes. It is so needed. Thank you!
Itemization felt great in the PTR, the only issue was how fast I ran out of veiled crystals and they seem to be need for everything. I think this is going to be updated before the season release, a lot of content creators and players have complained.
The threat meter brings back Season 2 memories. "The vampires are hunting you!" Oh, dearie...aren't you adorable. THEY aren't hunting ME... (By the way, here's a pedantic pointer: pronouncing the word "affix." As a verb it's pronounced "ah-FIX." ("He affixed the talisman to his armor"). As a noun, meaning an addition to a word/phrase, it's "AH-fix" (with a short "a" like "hat") That's how you should be pronouncing it in this context 🙂 )
I don't know if I'll be able to do a video anytime soon. The just is that a new tab is added to your stash in the Eternal Realm and that tab has every item you had in your stash at the end of the season and you have one season from that point to remove what you want or it is deleted. If you mostly plan on playing seasons then I would only worry about some uniques for builds you want to try in the eternal realm and Uber uniques. This season is a little different because there is such a big change to the gear that most everything is going to be obsolete from S3 and before. So, personally, I'm not taking anything from season 3. I'll just let it get deleted. Let me know if that helps, I want to make sure you get taken care of.
Man it's so cool that Diablo 4 fixed all these things a lot of people hated about the game. Just in time for them to release the DLC when the season ends too. Reminds me of that time in World of Warcraft when they made this really grindy mechanic that had a lot of issues and decisions that just didn't make a lot of sense was fixed in later patches which led a lot of people to come back because they "listened to the players". I forgot what it was called... I think it was Artifact Power? No actually, I think it was Azerite... nah that's not it either... corruption?... no.... hmm... maybe it was called The Maw? wait no! It was Torghast..... I give up, I'm sure I'll figure it out one day.
From my understanding so far, is that gold is going to be scarcer to obtain and socket prism are insanely rare. Can you confirm or not? My theory is Blizzard wants to slow down blasters so they can't finish within 48 hrs. Sure you can get to lvl 100 fast but like I said earlier the gearing is going to take time. Gold and those socket prisms are a few of the methods.
It is seeming that way. Socket prisms drop mainly from world bosses and i'm not sure if or where they drop otherwise. Gold hasn't been a problem yet but I could see that being the bigger limiter. Veiled crystals were going to be the problem after the ptr but that has been fixed for sure.
Great, the season hasn't even dropped and already streamers say they need to make changes. Brilliant. Good review and does look like this season could be the best. As it's an even year it should be ( odd numbers 1,3 have been rubbish but 2 was very good and 4??? . Well we will reserve judgement. 😎
I hope they have to make changes, after running the Public Test Realm. Hopefully, they get the right ones and everyone jumping in during season just get an awesome season! 😀
Don't know for sure, but my best guess is going to be the Barb. Already so many strong builds and the new mechanic is going to push it to the next level. I would love to see necros and druids rise to the top, because the Barb has been dominant for the last two, but I just don't think it's happening this season.
the affix pool didnt shrink. The affixes just got moved to tempering. We still have the massive pool of affixes we just have like a little control of what we want and can get. Also Im pretty sure that the enemies will get power boosted as well to match us
The pool of ones that will roll on a fresh drop did, which was the main point I was making because it makes it a lot to get a base drop you'll want to work with. I'm not sure the over all pool isn't smaller as well. We won't know for sure till we see more of the tempering recipes. In the PTR it seemed like still less even when you consider the tempering affixes, but they could have been holding a lot back.
It is still associated with a higher affix range but that still means an 860 could still roll higher than a 925 at the top of its range. The cooler part this season is greater affixes always roll at a perfect roll plus 50%. So, targeting those on 925 are going to give you your best min/max items.
Most of the changes look great. However creating a PTR where half the players can test upcoming changes and the other half has to go in blind each season when the game has leader boards was just nothing short of an unbalanced horrible idea.
I see what you mean, but I think that the changes coming out of the PTR before a launch make it a better game for everyone. It would be cool if they could bring it to steam or consoles, too!
You do for the season content, but all the changes in this video are going to open up for both the seasonal and eternal realms. So, if you want to keep playing the same character you just need to do it in the eternal realm.
Great video bro. As a new player this was really helpful. I just hit level 50 having started the game a couple of weeks ago so I am kinda sad I will need to start over when the new season comes out. I do have two question though. I have been focusing on trying to get all the codex powers unlocked for my character. Will i need to do that again in S4 or will I still have the codex powers I unlocked in S3? Also what if a legendary power isn't part of the codex, like the ones you extract will they now be part of the codex as well?
Awesome! As far as the questions. Yes, to both. The codex will need to be recollected if you play in the seasonal realm and any aspect that you find on legendary items that you break down will now be added to the codex, even if they weren't previously included in the codex in season 3 and before. If you are going to play in the eternal realm your codex will still be unlocked but they will only be the lowest level of the aspect and you will want to replace them as you get better versions. Hopefully that was helpful and clear.
@@OwnModeGaming This was very helpful indeed, cheers for the info and the speedy reply. I will change to the seasonal realm when S4 drops and just stop playing this character. I guess for now if I want to play I should just try to get the map bonus stuff done for the free skill and paragon points?
@@CaledonianCraft Excellent! That sounds like a good plan. It's really nice to start a season with all that done. The biggest pain is going to be the alters of lilith but they really add up if you get them all. Both for the renown and +68 points to your base stats like str and dex.
@@OwnModeGaming Wow I had no idea what the statues actually did until now haha. I will prioritize finding them as well. You sir are a legend! I will be back to this channel haha.

I love your videos! I am playing a druid character and I’m trying to figure out how to get that third wolf can you give me any tips on how I can find the aspect for getting the third wolf in my pack?
Awesome, I'm so glad you like them. As for the aspect, that is an offensive skill. So targeting light weapon's chests in helltides and gambling for single handed weapons is your best bet. For the gambling make sure to pick weapons that druids can actually use. The gambling is going to be your best bet, so start targeting the yellow circle events whenever you see them to get obols. Let me know if that helps.
Will we have the possibility to boost our uber uniques with the next masterwork tool? And our uber uniques that we got before season 4 can be boosted through masterwork in the eternal realm?
Yeah, masterworking is for uniques as well. As for the Ubers in the eternal realm, I'm pretty sure masterworking will work on those as soon as season 4 goes live.
You can temper more than 1 affix? I was only able to choose 1 from any of the highlighted categories.. But it didn't let me choose more than 1... I'll have to try again and see if it's changed.
The campaign is already great and it is definitely worth getting into early. I totally agree with unlocking a bunch of the stuff as you go, so you can quick start alts in the future. I do have a couple videos that goes through stuff to do before starting an alt: ua-cam.com/video/8ga4Uh71_po/v-deo.htmlsi=0PWfOoMekERKOKCt & ua-cam.com/video/MCQtJt6SRQE/v-deo.htmlsi=xxTesSV8eq30xrw4 But the just of what we unlock is horse, map, alters of Lilith, and finishing up renown. This will give you a ton of extra skill and paragon points and unlock waypoints and the horse when you want to run alts.
@@oozehag2790 I think it would make it slightly more enjoyable. If I were you I would just play the campaign and unlock what I felt like unlocking. After that i would wait for the season to start a new class and skip the campaign and push that character deep into the endgame.
haven't finished watching but please someone tell me ... farming boss material for summoning .... have they or will they do you think make it easier / faster so you could get more out of it .... ?
I forgot to include that but they are increasing the number of places that boss materials will drop i still found it more reliable to still go after the sub bosses to get them. I hope they improve that more, especially with the tormented versions of the bosses.
Literaly hell to farm living steel for just a few shards to do duriel 1 or 2 Times xD & the other boss just drop so that al can have more fun & get stuff
I am returning after having only played the preseason. I farmed all the renown and shrines and most aspect powers. Is there anything I NEED to do before the season starts? Also will the aspect codex be wiped at the start of the season? Thanks to anyone helping me out
The only other thing is map reveil, if you didn't do that during the renown hunt. Pretty sure you already did these but they do effect the season; get the horse and complete the campaign. Codex will reset this season but you can now collect max level aspects in the codex. The level one aspects won't matter much.
Guys I'm new to Diablo and need, help. I started about 2 weeks ago and have my character lvl 30. What happens with the new season? I think my character is on the eternal realm now? What does it mean? I can still play it but to enjoy the new seasons features do I need to create a new character?
Yeah, you need to start a new character and make sure it is seasonal. You can also finish your main campaign with you eternal character and then just skip the campaign when you jump into a new seasonal character. I actually would advises that
You should definitely make an update vid. Some of the stuff you hoped would change actually did. And the uber uber bosses are in fact worth it if you can beat them. Just make a react to yourself video and update info as you go through the video. Saves a lot of editing time.
I have had the same thought about the devs. I do think there has been a huge improvement on that front. If you watch the launch campfire chats and you watch the latest campfire chats there has been a big change in how they talk about player requests.
No, it’s a permanent change for the game as a whole. So you will have it in eternal realm. If you do play during season you will need to recollect the codex each season.
Have any of you checked out the reviews for Diablo 4 on Xbox??? I just went t and looked at them and I’m not kidding I couldn’t find a review above 1 star lol literally hundreds of 1 star reviews I personally don’t get it lol it’s been one of my favorite games.
It's because people are sheep and it's popular to hate on the game and talk about it like its literal garbage with no redeeming qualities. Of course it's not perfect, but at least they are making steps that will massively improve the game and provide a solid foundation moving forward
The lucky hit chance to deal whatever type of damage gas 6 possible rolls on ONE tenpering manual. So tha makes it difficult to not brick something if you want that on every piece of gear you can. What are the odds that you get shadow damage within 6 rolls on 5+ different items
That is definitely a problem. The other thing I noticed that it would keep rolling the same ability 3 or 4 times in a row, it did not seem random. I brick a few items from this happening. Outside of greater affix items it was pretty easy to get another base of an item with the ideal affixes to try again, but for true min/maxing this might end up being rough. Especially if you brick something with 2 or 3 greater affixes.
Im working on it but im adding a lot of spices …i think it will be a realy wacky build.i plan to use a few nova like andariel visage tyrael migth and isadora to have the holy nova the poison nova and the shock nova . Im not sure i will use the occulus but ill need the enchant and boot that give evade pn attacking.mabey ill put elemental surge on weapon tempering to make tall rasha work .as enchant ill put ball ligthning and if i can use the occulus maybey ill put the enchant for crackeling energy instead of teleport
I tried to stay to things that are not likely to change. I also wanted to give people who didn't experience the ptr everything they would need to know. The game is going to be pretty different from what we know and I think mostly for the better.
What will happen to our current legendary gears with 4 affixes?? Will we lose one of the affix randomly post update?? Which I wouldn't want to happen. That's something I'm rather concerned about😅. I mean we've spent so much time and effort getting the right gear affixes. Imagine having to re-do for multiple characters. That would be a huge bummer😢
I believe that those will be left as is, I don't think they will be viable for tempering and masterworking. Replacing them will definitely make for a stronger build.
The official line on this is that all legacy gear will remain exactly as it is, and you won’t be able to use any of the new crafting mechanics on that gear. So you won’t lose any power, but the year will definitely need to be replaced for endgame.
@@abraxis59 Noted this. Thank you for the info👌🏼... Good to know that the legacy gears will remain the same. At least we don't lose anything while we look for the new items for the new crafting 👍🏻
That is the power level of the aspect and is whatever the highest level aspect that was on a legendary you broke down. So, codex no longer only does just the lowest level, it does the highest you have broken down!
What I say in the video is what it was for the PTR. It was changed to 3x for 5x as of the fireside chat yesterday, so that is what we will see in the season release!
I had hoped i could get D4 for me in a package/box like the old ones. Well i like the necromacer from those so necro it is. It is diffrent - where do you up the number of sceletons? where do you up the number of heling potions you can carry? you dont. it is diffent in a way that i dislike based on old games. well the bashing everywhere makes you dizzy. then as some stated dont make mistakes - well that is a mistake - they are not mistakes its game play . you do what you want. Dont sell some say - well i got 4 stash chars full . i got 6 stash chests full. and i sold a lot - i even got like 14-15 of these bags you get with loot in them . i dont open them as much any more - I got no room for the loot. I like to hunt down theese thieves that drop coins when they run from you. The gameplay story i dont give much about i just bash what i want. That makes fun to me. endgame ? i dont care .

the new crafting system is amazing, it could make almost anything viable and powerful, Greater Affixes need to be a different color loot beam and color in ur inventory, to give you that rush that you got something special... not just a roman numero next to the same color of a normal legendary
Totally, that would be a huge improvement!
It wasn't mentioned in the vid, but for pit pushing you will want to level up all your glyphs beforehand.
You may as well get xp while you level them up so I would suggest NM dungeons from L70-90.
Totally agree. I keep hoping they give us an additional way to level glyphs, but I haven't seen anything about it.
Very nice guide. Great way to get season 4 started. thanks and Gl in the grind
Thanks! GL to you as well!! This should be a fun one.
Really appreciate your time input into this video, great, simple and highly enjoyable to watch! Lets hope S4 will blast! :)
That's so cool to hear. Thank you!
So thanks
Awesome, thank you!
Well done I’ve never been able to get anywhere near 90 from 65 in just one day.

Im very happy with the Codex of Power change. That will be amazing.
Hands down my favorite change. I love trying different build rather than being hard forced to one because of the cost or bag limitations.
Now i get to keep an aspect if i accidentally break down a piece of gear that is special to my character at the time. shit i like this already
It is a way better system, for sure.
I think it’d be SICK if once you defeated all the tormented Uber bosses, they drop a small charm. You go to the occultist and transmute all the small charms into the Diablo 2 charm where it’s + to skills to a certain class.
Nice, that would be cool. They definitely need something more rewarding.
This was a fantastic video. Thank you for the info! Def will be watching future videos.
Awesome! Thanks, man!
Neat, concise and well organized ... I like it well done!!!
Awesome, that means a lot. Thank you, so much!
Really helpful and well done! Havent played since S2, looking forward to S4 though!
Thank you! Season 3 was a solid one to skip. I think for most players, skipping seasons that you’re not excited about would make the game more fun over time.
Nice info! So nice to hear actual advice rather than people complaining but still playing lol
Thanks! I try to keep it more positive in general. I have loved the series since i was a kid and just want to help people enjoy the game more.
Liked and commented for the algorithm. Great job, you deserve a lot more views and subs.
Thank you so much!
Man, how don’t you have sooooo many more followers? Your videos are great
Thanks, man! That was really cool. I sometimes wonder the same thing😉
Tormented bosses WERE changed already to be 3x mats input, giving 5x rewards output
Yup, that is going to be a solid change. Can't wait to see how it plays out in season!
Once again, another concise to the point informative video. You're a natural keep the videos coming brother you deserve more subs for sure.
Thanks, man!
I'm really excited for it too. The codex did quickly become useless.
@@OwnModeGaming using Obols?
The helltide enemy density buff is going to be great for the lightning druid.
Definitely, that would be fun. I can't decide if I want to start with either Druid or Barb. The Barb was so much fun in the PTR, but the druid was my first to lvl 100 and I haven't taken one into endgame since launch.
Are you running Druid at season start?
@@OwnModeGaming Druid to start, then Necro for the 1st alt. Gotta try out the minion builds with the new buffs.
You have explained the changes better than most. Will you be posting and updating builds/guides for seasons 4?
Thanks, man! I'm definitely making content for the season. Guides and tips for sure. I haven't made build guides yet, but I'm definitely considering it for the season.
Great delivery, easy to follow, thanks man!
Thank you!
I think it seems like a good idea to do all the strongholds as soon as possible. Sucks to see a Legion happening, but I can't go.
Yeah, I should probably do the same. I think last season I only did 2 or 3 of the strongholds.
@@OwnModeGaming The strongholds never really had much loot, but when we go up a tier, the monsters are like 10-15 levels ahead of us, so we can go to strongholds where they are only 3 levels above us. The last boss drops loot now. At least 2 legendaries every kill.
Great info, clear explanations, thanks for a great video!
Thank you, I'm really glad you enjoyed it.
@@OwnModeGaming earned a new subscriber 😊
FYI, greater affixes can roll on gear from the obol vender. I got 4 triple rolls just from gambling.
Yeah, I did get some that way. 4 triples that is insane, I also got a bunch on the gear they give you when you jump to 100.
So happy about helltides! They are one of my favorite activities.
Can't wait for GRs...I mean the Pit
So for the codex of power am I breaking down the leggos at the blacksmith or still doing extract aspect at the Occultist?
Crafting is going to be great!
S4 is going in the right direction! So many great changes, glad 1.0 finally released.
S5 needs to make massive improvements to NMDs, they are so boring which makes glyph leveling horrible. Or at least give us a 2nd alternative for glyph leveling such as using the Pit for that would be nice
Edit: forgot to say, great video, one of the better ones, keep up the great work
Aspects breakdown at blacksmith and automatically add to the codes.
I can't agree more with NMD and glyph leveling changes. It is so needed.
Thank you!
played s1, you mention a lot of good QoL changes, might actually play this season if they eliminated the itemization fatigue
Itemization felt great in the PTR, the only issue was how fast I ran out of veiled crystals and they seem to be need for everything. I think this is going to be updated before the season release, a lot of content creators and players have complained.
Pretty sure meteors are still around. We don’t have roaming bosses now we just have giant worms that pop out of the ground that vomit out enemies.
Yeah, they were supposed to take them out in wt1&2, but they changed their minds.
@@OwnModeGaming wish they did! Lol
@@OwnModeGaming love the videos btw! Great work.
Definitely, inspired by the blood seekers.
Hello. Can you make a video explaining what’s going to happen to your seasonal character and items when the season ends?
Nice! Love it!
Weird question! Is there a « best » season character? Or one that you can bring at its best? Thanks 😊
Don't know for sure, but my best guess is going to be the Barb. Already so many strong builds and the new mechanic is going to push it to the next level. I would love to see necros and druids rise to the top, because the Barb has been dominant for the last two, but I just don't think it's happening this season.
Thanks!! 😊
Best explanation so far.
That is a huge compliment, thank you!
the affix pool didnt shrink.
Has anyone noticed the tempering system is wrong? Like the ranges on the manuals dont accurately show what the ranges are when applied to Ancestrals.
I have not, I'll check it out today.
Might make a hardcore for this upcoming season. Had my last 2 killed to the butcher. With the new helltides I can avoid dungeons lol
Sadly, I think we can only level glyphs in the dungeons. I really hope that changes.
@@OwnModeGaming I can usually kill butcher later on but yea early game if you’re deep in a dungeon and he pops up you’re probably crap out of luck 😂🥲
Does item power correctly account for better greater affix rolls or is it still a number that means nothing?
It is still associated with a higher affix range but that still means an 860 could still roll higher than a 925 at the top of its range. The cooler part this season is greater affixes always roll at a perfect roll plus 50%. So, targeting those on 925 are going to give you your best min/max items.
Most of the changes look great. However creating a PTR where half the players can test upcoming changes and the other half has to go in blind each season when the game has leader boards was just nothing short of an unbalanced horrible idea.
Yes exactly agree with this what a joke that was
I see what you mean, but I think that the changes coming out of the PTR before a launch make it a better game for everyone. It would be cool if they could bring it to steam or consoles, too!
People always complain about something. Crybabies
If they didn't have a PTR you'd be the first crying about bugs at the start of the season
@Nick-tl7ts I have loved the game since day 1, not many of you can say that. Played every season, I'm not one to complain.
Do we also have to start a new character to do season content?

@@OwnModeGaming Thank you so much for the tip!!
Do I still have to start a new character or can I play with my old characters from previous season?
New character every season, if you want to do the season stuff. If you already completed the campaign, you get to skip that for future seasons.
Take my sub good sir
Thanks, man!
Should I unlock the Lilith statues on my season 3 character or does it reset for season 4?
If you complete it fully in a season you never have to do it again. So, yes I would finish it before the season start.
You can temper more than 1 affix? I was only able to choose 1 from any of the highlighted categories.. But it didn't let me choose more than 1... I'll have to try again and see if it's changed.
You get two on Ancestral gear only. Before that you only get the one.
D4 season 4 seems pretty good, let's hope Rogue will have a spot this season.
Just bought Diablo 4 and new to it. Will be doing campaign. Can I start now or should I wait for the update to roll out?
I would start now that way when season 4 drops you can just skip the campaign and already have your mount unlocked. Plus any renown you've unlocked.
The campaign is already great and it is definitely worth getting into early. I totally agree with unlocking a bunch of the stuff as you go, so you can quick start alts in the future.
I do have a couple videos that goes through stuff to do before starting an alt:
ua-cam.com/video/8ga4Uh71_po/v-deo.htmlsi=0PWfOoMekERKOKCt &
ua-cam.com/video/MCQtJt6SRQE/v-deo.htmlsi=xxTesSV8eq30xrw4
But the just of what we unlock is horse, map, alters of Lilith, and finishing up renown. This will give you a ton of extra skill and paragon points and unlock waypoints and the horse when you want to run alts.
But won’t the new itemisation update make the campaign more enjoyable or is it not worth waiting for and I should just start campaign now?
@@oozehag2790 I think it would make it slightly more enjoyable. If I were you I would just play the campaign and unlock what I felt like unlocking. After that i would wait for the season to start a new class and skip the campaign and push that character deep into the endgame.
Cool video, thanks !
You’re welcome!
haven't finished watching but please someone tell me ... farming boss material for summoning .... have they or will they do you think make it easier / faster so you could get more out of it ....
I actually would advises that
Great tips even i am 2 months late 😂. I did the same mistake you made by enchanting a greater affix hoping to get a different one. 😂

Nope, not yet.
You should definitely make an update vid. Some of the stuff you hoped would change actually did. And the uber uber bosses are in fact worth it if you can beat them.
Just make a react to yourself video and update info as you go through the video. Saves a lot of editing time.
I originally thought about that and wasn't really sure if anybody would want to watch it. I'll give it a run and see how it comes out.
Going to try season 4 with an open mind. It still looks like the dev team hates the players.
I have had the same thought about the devs. I do think there has been a huge improvement on that front. If you watch the launch campfire chats and you watch the latest campfire chats there has been a big change in how they talk about player requests.
They finally got it right looks like.....man think if this was the d4 that shipped
It would have been a far less hate filled year for sure 😊. It's so much better!
Is the codex only for the trial gameplay?
No, it’s a permanent change for the game as a whole. So you will have it in eternal realm. If you do play during season you will need to recollect the codex each season.
@@OwnModeGaming nice! I like that!

Review bombs. The game has its issues but it's not a one out of five.
It's because people are sheep and it's popular to hate on the game and talk about it like its literal garbage with no redeeming qualities. Of course it's not perfect, but at least they are making steps that will massively improve the game and provide a solid foundation moving forward
Where do you get the recipes for tempering?
They drop all over. I did notice that most of mine came from Helltides and Bosses.
Not sure how threat meter would work in a shared pve space online?
The packs surge around you. You do run into other players that are at higher threat and can assist them with their packs.
@@OwnModeGaming my idea is a thorns shadow Necro with lucky hit to deal shadow damage. I think it could be an interesting passive build

shouldnt we wait until final patch notes?
@@OwnModeGaming Aah thank you. That would make the best sense 😊👍🏻

Will all the changes apply to eternal ?
All the things I covered in the video are set to be added to the eternal as soon as the season starts.
whats the number x/x on each aspect in the codex represent?
That is the power level of the aspect and is whatever the highest level aspect that was on a legendary you broke down. So, codex no longer only does just the lowest level, it does the highest you have broken down!
For the tormented Raxx said it was 3 times the costs for 5 times the rewards... i dunno who but someone got it wrong
