My friend (and LSD tournament team member, I think?) Blaine gave me an Armadillo after I lost a beat-in Berg, really have loved it for slow, straight shots! Y'all killed it on that mold.
Glitch and Berg in my bag, complements each other great for the short game. The Glitch is great when you have no room to throw, you can just flick it with your wrist and hit tight gaps. The berg is great for forehand’s and handles wind better….
I used to love the Discraft Rattler as a kid in the 90s. my favorite approach disc. It's a shame Discraft doesn't seem to care about their old (their own unique) molds, they are eternally subjugated to throwaway Ledgestone runs.
I'm bagging a Polecat and a Berg. I'll sometimes bag a Sonic instead of the Polecat if I'm feeling spicy though. I'm sad that the Sonic didn't make the cut.
My favorites are: understable- Lone Star Super Dillo (1/4/-3/1) for it's very unique shape and flight, neutral - Loft Hydrogen for laser straight 100 footers, slightly overstable - Lone Star Glow Armadillo for Berg like flight with a more comfortable (to me) hand feel with more glide, and the 1 speed Tilt or Razor Claw very overstable 'get out of jail free' card for short scramble shots- NSH Customs Mr. Putt which has no flight numbers posted but feels like a (1/1/0.5/4). Love the 1 speeds for those close basket runs.
I was a Berg holdout for the first 3 years I played..."Berg Gang" and "I can fit so many up my butt" yada yada made it seem like a meme. But man is it a game changing disc. I'm sure the others on this list fly similarly, it's probably just a matter of which you get your hands on first.
I didn’t like the berg at all for a long time, then tried it a bit again to see what the hype was really about and now I love it and it’s staying in my bag. Not sure why I disliked it at first.
Sigh... Just got a Berg and giving it a try. Love the Glitch, though, but it's so easy to overshoot the basket. Always seems to happen when there's a steep dropoff behind...
I think you keep using the word "understable" incorrectly. Most of these discs are the definition of "stable." The 0,0 turn fade on the Glitch and the Polecat (the two on this list I have personally thrown) is extremely accurate. They maintain, at an appropriate release speed, the line they were released on. The glitch flies DEAD STRAIGHT when released flat. It could not be more neutral at slow speeds.
"when released at low speeds." Dave, I think you might misunderstand how stability works. That 3rd number in flight numbers, that Innova calls "turn," could more accurately be called "high speed stability." It is how resistant to torque the disc is when its spun fast, how much it fights against moving in the gyroscopic direction of its spin. And the glitch does not. It will go dead straight when released at low speeds (or more accurately, low spin), but most discs with low/no fade will. The glitch definitely requires a more hyzer release to hold up to torque better, in much the same way - and for exactly the same reasons - that an Ultimate disc does.
@@robmccarty755 I disagree partly. I always understood high speed stability to mean the speed in which the disc is designed. Like a 13 speed will hit its flight numbers if you throw at a 13 speed. If my noodle arm throws a 13 speed with a -3 turn, it will still be a meathook for me. A 1 speed disc, the “high speed” stability is actually a low speed of 1.
@@nickyoceansyde Different stat. The first stat is speed, which is mostly determined by rim width - that is how fast the disc has to be thrown to behave according to its flight numbers. Turn, or High Speed Stability, is different in that its a measure of how hard the disc resists turning in the direction of its spin. That is why unstable numbers are negative - if it were measuring how much the disc turns, a negative number wouldn't make a lot of sense, would it? What is is measuring is how much the disc fights its spin to remain straight and balanced.
@@robmccarty755 as an ultimate player of 20 years I disagree, and did not misunderstand. The glitch is stable, or neutral if you prefer, an ultrastar is understable.
Einsteins definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Give it up guys, it's the Berg. It was last time, it is this time, it will be next time. New content? Please?
She left me… for the berg. She said there isn’t enough room in her heart for more than one love. I told her I feel the same way.
My opinion: That 70 to 150 Ft shot, the Berg is the go to disc 🤘🏻
Armadillo GANG. so money. The only disc i've aced with. Also surprisingly great for flicks
We appreciate the shoutout! Dillo ftw!

Hey, I recognized one of the Glitch commenters! It is a great utility disc and good for warm up tossing to a buddy.

Well that was pretty predictable order. I'm bagging both Berg and Glitch. Fun discs.
Just curious but how many 1 speed discs are there? There can't be more then 10 right? If even that...

K1 Berg. Love mine.

Berg in k1 soft is the best
if you like winning choose the Berg😉😁🎉
The thumbnail on this video is historical. He looks like he’s got tiny arms. Lol
Once upon a time, the Polecat came in Champion plastic.

it's my first name so i'm a little bias
Lmao. I guess so 😅
My featured comment on the dillo 😂😂
Foot fault
Yes! Once again, the greatest putter haunts the hallowed halls of Swanky!
I’m famous! Posted my comment in video. Polecat gang gang!
No sonic? Shame
Most are stable/neutral not understable.
I love my polecat….but my berg is so much better
Dillo is the BEST

I dont know what you guys consider "domy". My halo polecat and my hydrogen are both extremely flat and not "domy" at all.
My Halo Polecat is definitely anything but flat. I think you may have got a lucky one because every one I’ve seen has a decent slope to the top.
Armadillo is amazing. I use it for almost every strait approach shot under 100
fun fact løft directly translates to lift

Beeerrggg!!!
Armadillo has kicked out my Berg from my bag.
I’m sorry that the disc golf community let you down once again Luke..
45% smh…..🤦🏼♂️
All hail the Berg!!
@@cptnmarkov3149 don’t make me report you.. 🤣🤣🤣
