*Still a very new player* Picked up a harp from the used bin for 5 bucks thinking I had heard a friend say good things about it, but really wasn’t sure how I’d like it. Fast forward a couple days and I’m looking at a ginormous tree between me and the basket, full brush and more trees to my right, open to my left except for a low hanging branch from my enemy, the tree in front of me. My brain replays a clip where someone forehand flicks a disc to get it to fade hard right and I think “I’ve skipped rocks before, I can do something close to that”. Give it a try and bam, completely cleared under the branch and wrapped around the tree moving toward the basket. The guys who’d invited me out all gave me props and I knew that harp was staying in the bag!
Love the harp. Wysocki harp in Moonshine VIP glows amazing for night golf. Firebird should be swanky, esp since no other equivalent disc was rated swanky.
Love the harp for approach shots, and just recently got a rive in the latest Royal box. Don’t really have the arm for it, but flys better for me than other overstable drivers
I just started in August. I'll say this, love the reviews and tier lists! Im not a fan of the zone. At all! BUT.... it's definitely in S. No doubt about it.
I love all things over stable my bag consists of like half this list I love the zone and zone os in the jaebraker I think it’s perfect stability for a ton of flex shots
I also am liking the fission time lapse (I know that is a completely different disc, might not even fit in the over stable category) but I do bag the deflector and use it as a utility disc when I need something really overstable, just picked up a pyro and I'm loving that disc as well
Can I just say a huge "thank you" to you guys for this video! It's like you guys are watching my search history like Google! I'm a beginner to intermediate player that wants to start dabbling with more Overstable stuff. I already have a Mint, Cookie, and Malta for understandable discs in my bag. I tend to throw with a little hyzer naturally so have been shying away from OS discs. Question... Are Overstable putters necessary to have in ones bag? Or does an approach disc like my mint or the zone already fill that spot.
I do not throw the destroyer or the Teebird but I would put them into swanky. Both those discs are synonymous with their flight numbers. Even the firebird. I throw the Zenith, Volt, and Reactor in these slots though.
I love the drop from discmania so far. I'm afraid that it goes out of production if nikkalas leaves. The tactic is my backup if it does but either the evo line dissolving that might happen to the tactic to. What a world
You missed all my favorite overstable fairways. First the Discraft Cyclone which really started the overstable fairway go-tos. I know it's only ran about once every 2 years or so but this years Brian E. swirl Cyclone is epic. When first released I think they called it a distance driver, but it's a great fairway driver to this day some 30ish years later. The next is rarely run but the Innova Gazelle. We got a few this year and it is still a great flying disc. Finally all the PDs and FDs from Discmania. Outside of the FD all are stable to overstable and great discs, The FD1 and 2 have ruled my bag since they were released.
I really want to find a overstable disc that has a more gentle fade. I don’t know if that’s possible in Denver where I live, but every over stable disc I try just dives to the ground once it starts to fade.
That's just a less stable disc, just go down in stability slowly until you find your sweet spot. Different plastics as well, try cheaper base plastics. Like a Z Zone and Jawbreaker Zone are different discs. Not sure exactly what slot you're looking for but I'm sure you can find what you're looking for, just start trying less stable discs when you can. And if you're reading/watching reviews look for the words "gentle fade"
The harp has been there since the beginning and stays in the bag. Just started throwing the Clash Cookie as a fairway. The Warship is also a good os disc
I personally tested every over stable approach disc I could get my hands on. With sheer quantity of the discs I have I opted for the pig especially because of the thumb track. When I lose or beat in all of my pigs (down to 2) in switching to the zone which was my second choice of approach disc ESPECIALLY the ringer zone. Harp is WAAAAY too deep, tactic felt awful, a2 was fine but not as stable as I was looking for. The pig was my first love
Bro, love your videos. Respect. But how tf can you put the Pig in swanky and the slammer in Dog Toy?! It's WAY better than you gave it credit for. Give it another chance lmao
Thats funny, i really dislike the hand feel of the buzzz and love the feel of the roc3. Dont like the regular roc though, unless you find a really flat one
I bag three Sockibomb Slammers and an Envy as my throwing putters 🥲 The first runs and raptor eye ones are amazing and beat in perfectly. My first has 4 aces. The Lucid Ice starts out almost unusably overstable without wind. Also totally disagree about the plastic quality.
I am pretty new to disc golf, within the last year I’m old 46, but these list help me figure out what I should look for. The first disc I ever spent alot of money on is a halo Star Destroyer and I’m still learning how to throw it. Stay Swanky
Am I the only one who doesn’t like the Time Lapse AT ALL? The excessive dome makes the disc so ridiculously uncomfortable. I want to like it because I’m a huge Simon fan and love 12 speeds… but I just can’t.
Zone is nothing special, every company makes a similar disc as good if not better. Same for Firebird. Teebird was actually hard for other companies to copy. Järn is swanky tier.
Gateway - Demon (6,4,0,4) in Hyper Diamond plastic. Most reliable hook and consistent hook I’ve got in the bag. Awesome for hard dog leg lefts when thrown rhbh and behind a wide tree or brush
You need to search deep inside of your disc golf spirit. I feel you're out of balance with your disc chi. 😅 A Pig in Swanky Tier? And, the Jarn below the Zone? Phew. I don't even know you.
I didn't much care about the Time Lapse . . . until I bought the Fission Time Lapse. Now it's my favorite disc. Stay Swanky.
*Still a very new player*

Harp is super shallow? I feel like you're trying to gaslight me for some reason. It is not a shallow disc, unless you got them 9+ inch hands maybe.
Would have to agree that it is not very shallow
My harp is nice and deep compared to all my other discs. Only thing deeper maybe a glitch?
Love the harp. Wysocki harp in Moonshine VIP glows amazing for night golf. Firebird should be swanky, esp since no other equivalent disc was rated swanky.

New player love all the videos been very helpful. Been playing about 4 months
Love my Latitude Glory, Trust and Savior.
Not sure if -1 | 2 is OS enough to count for this list, but the Escape and the Paige Pierce Drive, too.
I just started in August. I'll say this, love the reviews and tier lists!
Im not a fan of the zone. At all! BUT.... it's definitely in S. No doubt about it.
my favorite overstable disc is the mint discs lasso. it’s very similar to an envy but it has a shoulder like a zone
the mint disc taco is low key goated
I love all things over stable my bag consists of like half this list I love the zone and zone os in the jaebraker I think it’s perfect stability for a ton of flex shots
Westside fortress, prodigy archive, mint Alpha. A few staples in my bag for ya guys 🔥
I have the Tone Cookie and it’s glorious! Never leaving the bag.
I also am liking the fission time lapse (I know that is a completely different disc, might not even fit in the over stable category) but I do bag the deflector and use it as a utility disc when I need something really overstable, just picked up a pyro and I'm loving that disc as well
My favorite overstables are
Distance driver: PDx
Fairway: Fd3
Midrange: Innova Md4
Approach: now the Drop...
Putter: P3x.
I got my first zone this year, really like it. I got a bobcat for Christmas I’m excited to try out
I bag the jawbreaker zone OS so would be awesome to get another one!
My bagged overstable discs are Zone, Buzzz OS, and Sexton Firebird.
My go-to Overstable disc is the MVP Terra.
Jarn gang represent. Also the Omen by Thought Space Athletics is my favorite overstable fairway without a doubt.
Can I just say a huge "thank you" to you guys for this video! It's like you guys are watching my search history like Google! I'm a beginner to intermediate player that wants to start dabbling with more Overstable stuff. I already have a Mint, Cookie, and Malta for understandable discs in my bag. Question... Are Overstable putters necessary to have in ones bag? Or does an approach disc like my mint or the zone already fill that spot.
i like the entropy pretty well
Firebird and Harp are awesome! Savior is an underrated over stable approach for sure!
I seldom hear it praised in that range but it’s solid!
My most used OS disc is a premium hybrid DD Verdict from a tournament in 2018.
I like the Undertaker. Defy and have been really impressed with the Dream Weaver.
Love the Zone and I've become a fan of the Rat!
My favorite overstable discs are the axiom defy and the legacy badger
I do not throw the destroyer or the Teebird but I would put them into swanky. Both those discs are synonymous with their flight numbers. Even the firebird. I throw the Zenith, Volt, and Reactor in these slots though.
Firebird is S tier all day! I think the most used disc I have. Vanguard is money. Instinct not on the list but it is awesome.
2021 sexton firebird. Also that JB zone OS looks mighty fine 👀
Some of my favorites are the axiom pyro and wrath, prodigy A2/A3, discraft zone, latitude 64 explorer.
Yeah, I do like the Firebird, probably the most.
I really dig the Buzzz OS and the Mint Lasso.
Love the zone, also like vulture in 10 speeds and Animus in 11, for distance drivers. Also, cookie is very nice.
I love the drop from discmania so far. I'm afraid that it goes out of production if nikkalas leaves. The tactic is my backup if it does but either the evo line dissolving that might happen to the tactic to. What a world
Overstables for me based on speeds 4-11
4: Prodigy A3
5: Innova Caiman or Axiom Pyro
6: MVP Servo
7: DD Evader
8: MVP Volt
9: Innova Firebird (Gstar Plastic)
10: Lat 64 Musket
11: Streamline Trace
My deflector is one of my favorite discs. So reliable for a power FH

I'm in CoS, what have you tried?
Try the Harpoon. It's a little less stable than the Zone. Pretty shallow.
Get max weight..... if you try it.
That's just a less stable disc, just go down in stability slowly until you find your sweet spot. Different plastics as well, try cheaper base plastics. The mint from clash discs is a less stable version of the zone I bag onr
Great video. Stay swanky
Been messing around with an nuke os, been fun and interesting throwing something so OS
Justice, verdict, felon are my top 3
Gimme that zone Swankey!!!!
The harp has been there since the beginning and stays in the bag. Just started throwing the Clash Cookie as a fairway. The Warship is also a good os disc
Love my A2 and A5
Love me some zones, pyro, Athena, firebird and wraith in my overstable slots
Hey congrats! You got chosen to win the disc! Just shoot us an email to swankydiscgolf@gmail.com
DJ swanky spinning some nice discs
I like the captains raptor, harp, and the Pyro for my overstable discs
Surprised the Destroyer and Teebird aren't in the Swanky tier. They're probably two of the most widely copied discs in the market. Overall good work.
Jaw breaker zone OS sounds sick nasty
Gotta say I just never understood the love for the zone. Hate it. Now the Berg on the other hand way more useful for me...
I don’t know if you’ve thrown a Mint Alpha…but they are pretty nice. Might fit more in the slightly overstable category though
Culprit has become one of my favorites disc
Pyro, rhyno, ultra, distortion, runaway, kaxe are my go too overstable discs also hier speed the coalesce and grace
My 7502 slot is my RPM Huia so overstable and good!
My culprit is so domey lol it’s kinda tragic. It’s a proto one I got in a mystery box so still cool
Prism Pyro is my favorite
Favorite overstable disc is the Prodigy Feedback. Looks like there is a lack of Prodigy in these lists!
harp love!
I prefer Justice to Culprit or Toro. But either is usable.
How do we know who wins the giveaway discs?
We allow one week for comments to be made, and then we respond to one comment!
@SwankyDiscGolf Perfect. Just wondering!
Bro, love your videos. Respect. But how tf can you put the Pig in swanky and the slammer in Dog Toy?! It's WAY better than you gave it credit for. Give it another chance lmao
Merry Christmas - how could the Zone NOT be S-tier
I'm in the zone with my esp Flex zone!
Thats funny, i really dislike the hand feel of the buzzz and love the feel of the roc3. Dont like the regular roc though, unless you find a really flat one
Would love the giveaway!!
Firebird is top of S tier. No debate.
Never found much use for very overstable discs, there are ways around that
I bag three Sockibomb Slammers and an Envy as my throwing putters 🥲
The first runs and raptor eye ones are amazing and beat in perfectly. My first has 4 aces. The Lucid Ice starts out almost unusably overstable without wind.
Also totally disagree about the plastic quality.
My favorite is zone.
It's the halo boss for me
And how did you not include the Thunderbird????
🎉
Zone is the best!
Good job getting rid of the "I'd throw it over water" tier. You guys never could decide on what that tier was meant for.
I am pretty new to disc golf, within the last year I’m old 46, but these list help me figure out what I should look for. The first disc I ever spent alot of money on is a halo Star Destroyer and I’m still learning how to throw it. Stay Swanky
SEXTON Firebird… greatest disc ever made.
Toro over a destroyer is criminal
Gotta get me a Zone
Zone is the best disc of all time ,no compilation
Am I the only one who doesn’t like the Time Lapse AT ALL? The excessive dome makes the disc so ridiculously uncomfortable. I want to like it because I’m a huge Simon fan and love 12 speeds… but I just can’t.
Deflector and Fireball betrayed.
Sorrry Zeus is not overstable it’s straight. Force is beef
🦡 Badger > Demon 👍
