So how about this: This takes place after a Undertale genocide run. Chara: "Let us erase this world...and move on to the next." Well that's what Chara did. This is an alternate world where the humans and monsters never warred and live in harmony. A world that Chara is trying to destroy. Chara is in fact the "Knight" that is spoken of. If you look at Kris' bedroom, his half, aside from the wagon and birdcage is COMPLETELY BARREN. Asriel's side is very decorated. I think somehow Chara managed to "write" themselves into this reality. Why? Who knows. Maybe its just as simple as not being able to destroy it right away, and gets some twisted satisfaction crashing with the Dreemur family. Of course, there's the question of if Chara's opening up Dark Fountains to try to destroy the world, why, as Kris, would you try to stop it. That...is a good question. I'm going to chalk it up as to some master plan of Chara's. Maybe, again, Chara gets some sick satisfaction watching people struggle. Watching YOU struggle. This is why no matter what choices you make, how you answer questions, how you play the game DOES NOT MATTER. S I N C E W H E N W E R E Y O U T H E O N E I N C O N T R O L ? Yep, you're the "soul" that Chara has. It is Chara that gives you the "survey" at the beginning. And from the beginning, informs you that you have no say in this world. I think this is a case where as the game goes on, it's going to continue to try to teach you this simple lesson. You are not the one in control. Chara is. More and more messed up things are going to happen, and whatever "victories" you think you have, will come to naught. I think, at the end, Chara will most definitely destroy this world. However, because Chara's a bastard, it'll point out that you did have a choice. One single choice: YOU COULD HAVE STOPPED PLAYING THE GAME. YOU KNEW who you were playing as. YOU KNEW that Chara was doing horrible things. YOU are the one that is giving Chara the power to do those things by playing the game. You could've stopped it by simply...not playing. But you didn't. You wanted to see what happened. Maybe you've had a change of heart and wanted to help these people. Maybe you haven't and just wanted to kill them. Either case, you kept playing, even though you were told that your choices don't matter. And now the world is destroyed. Thanks to you. YOU ARE A GREAT PARTNER.
Indeed, That also explains Kris turning evil in one of Deltarune's endings, Referencing Frisk turning evil after doing the genocide route, solding your soul to Chara and began to do a Pacifist route.
Well, what about the people that didn't do the genocide run or at least, finished the genocide run? You said that Chara and the player erased the original UT timeline and moved on to this world, the DR world. Chara themselves overwrote everything so that they would exist but what if you never did the genocide run? The UT and DR timeline is connected somehow but if the 'erasing' part in UT never happened, would Chara still erase the UT world and move on to this without the player knowing? That's my only concern. The others, I totally agree. Kris, possessed by Chara, ripped your soul out of your body because YOU, were trying to save and stop everything that Chara was doing. I think Chara was already in this world before we arrived in the scenario and somehow, we also wrote ourselves into Kris, just like Chara did. But, there's also the matter of Gaster. In one of Jevil's dialogue, he said that in the shadow of the knight's hand, a terrible nightmare will occur. Saying this, there are probably two people in the DR universe that is related to this somehow. But what is Gaster doing here exactly? He even goes as far as to try and interact with us by giving an egg. Is he an accomplice or perhaps... something more?

I do believe Gaster will appear in this game. When I watched my brother play the game before I got it, the song that plays when you create the vessel sounds like Gasters theme but different. And when I got the game and notived the Cell phone easter egg, AND when I saw that gaster follower-looking monster, I was extremely sure that Gaster might appear in this game. :P
The bunker at the end looks familiar. I've seen the type before; usually has to do with storage of ammunition of some kind, and is made like a hill in order to fool satellite imagery. It's gonna be wierd to see how this plays out.
I'm so happy that we're getting more info on Gaster. His lore was so good in Undertale I really wanted to know more. Guess now we just gotta wait 'till Chapter 2.
If you actually speed up the door sound even more, it will make the sound that the cellphone makes. EDIT: oh my god I have never had a comment that had more than 1 like thank u

I'll admit. That gaster at the end spooked me. I scrolled down before he showed up, and i scrolled back up right before the sound triggered, so it was kinda like i jumpscared myself.
You know what i noticed The creation screen where you make a character The theme is just a slowed down gaster theme If not that then its at least got the same notes and beats
You can use a teleport hack to teleport into the door and that gives you gaster noises and laughter and intentional glitch effects on a black screen for a few seconds before it goes back to normal
Roxul kaard looks a lot like Gaster....cards...."The man who speaks in hands." You play cards in hands. "The Darkness keeps growing". The entire plot of Delta Rune focuses on you trying to stop the darkness from growing.
There is actualy a youtube who glitched into that door and his entire screen glitched out and a faster face appeared it freaked him out he was looking for faster secrets aswell
Gaster should be still alive in this game, its most likely a prequel because of sans just moving in and a bunch of other things so im curious where this will lead
It's not a prequel either because Papyrus didn't even know what a human looked like in Undertale He confirmed it's more of a spinoff set in an alternate universe, which may have been inspired by the Undertale fans who made alternate universes a common thing in the fandom, called "fanon" But now, it's pretty much been confirmed by Toby Fox alternate universes fanon has now become canon
I loved this! There's also one in the jail cells of the castle, its just a pair of eyes but its supposed to be a reference to gaster's hands on his sprite
The two characters riding in the cars that undyne stopped also look simmilar to one of the gaster followers. It's the tall dude holding the small thing in the original game, except not grayed out.
Probably no one ever noticed this, but Clover's room at the card castle when she's having a party with up beat music, the song kind of sounds like gasters theme, just a little faster, and with other up beat motifs. I think motif is what they are called.
While my sister was playing the game, she did the impossible. Killed Lancer. The game crashed and she then she booted it back up. She died (she isn't very good at games) and Susie and Lancer laughed at her then crashed... Has this happened to anyone else here?
@No gods, no kings, only Piranha Plant. Yeah... I hope dataminera find out exactly how this happened. But now that I think of it, I heard theorys about this being Gasters "Pacifest World" maybe she broke through that and that is why it happened. When I tryed to kill Lancer, it didn't kill him, but instead just ended the battle.
*calls on cell phone* *weird noises* “This is gaster, right?” “Your phone doesn’t seem to be working.” “I know you are there. Show yourself.” *game crashes* “FFUUUUU”
There is another easter egg I think references Gaster: Look at the structure of the “Egg Room”. The structure is similar to Room 269, the Mystery Man room. Another similarity, is that when you try to communicate with the “Man” who gave you an egg, he’s gone, just like Mystery Man in Room 269.
Oh, I thought that sound when you try calling on the phone sounded familiar! At first, I just thought it was a slowed-up version of the original ringtone.
if i remember right the guy in the car on the left side of the screen where undyne is in the middle of 2 cars also looks like one of gaster's followers?
Gaster is the villain of this game. Calling it. The references to him in Undertale were only prepping for this game, as he'd been working on this before even Undertale.
Don’t forget about how the game itself started, it was just a continuation of the cryptic tweets posted in undertale’s Twitter. And no matter how you look at it, it is gaster who is talking to you through twitter and he gets to the point in delta rune
3:10 just scared the crap out of me I was reading the comments and didnt pause the video. I hear nothing and my screen's in silence. I scroll up and Gaster disappears after leaving me with shat pants
It should be noted that Jevil talked to a mysterious person that made him see life as a game, which drove him mad. Seam has also become nihilistic because of this. Both traits are embodied with Sans in Undertale, as his awarenes of resetting and the player's influence has made him lose all hope. Like Jevil he has space-warping powers (teleportation + Jevil's arena) Both Seam's face and Rouxls Kaard's face share similarities with the mysteryman sprite as well...
You forgot the one on Undertale on the back of Sans (or Papyrus)'s house and see the image that says "Don't Forget", Deltarune's Credit Music, it says "Don't Forget"
You missed the one where you can go in between the room with the first star bird and the room after and going back and forth. Also if you loose the battle against lancer and Susie, and then call on the phone you will crash
Seam says that the person who drove Jevil insane made his world "darker, yet darker." Gaster drove Jevil insane by telling him it's all a video game.
Which he realized that he can do anything.
He says "Lets play a game", maybe he is talking about the game itself, "if your hp gets to 0 you lose"
Galacto Hat if you say “no” to playing his game, he says something like “why say no if you are already playing one?”
Oh boy.

Hints of Giygas' theme can be heard at 0:22

The bunker at the end looks familiar. I've seen the type before; usually has to do with storage of ammunition of some kind, and is made like a hill in order to fool satellite imagery. It's gonna be wierd to see how this plays out.
Intresting science fact: The length of this video has the same 3 digits as the first 3 digits of pi.
glados you fucking asshat pi doesnt have 3 digits it has an infinite amount of decimal places
You mean the FIRST 3 digits? It goes forever I know this much:

Fun Science fact: you're a nerd
GLaDOS GLaDOS HI
I'm so happy that we're getting more info on Gaster. His lore was so good in Undertale I really wanted to know more. Guess now we just gotta wait 'till Chapter 2.
Hey, thanks for making a video without a three minute intro. We greatly appreciate it.
If you actually speed up the door sound even more, it will make the sound that the cellphone makes.
EDIT: oh my god I have never had a comment that had more than 1 like thank u
Thats what he's trying to imply dude.
THAT IS TRUE
1:00 entry the number seventeen
1:03 dark, darker, yet darker
1:08 the darkness keeps growing
1:11 the shadows keeps growing
1:13 the shadows cutting deeper
1:15 photon, readings, negative
1:20 this next experiment
1:24 seems
1:26 very
1:29 very
1:32 interesting
1:34 ???
Wow... all these eastereggs got me flabbergasterd 🤔
I hate you
Not really
I'll admit. That gaster at the end spooked me. I scrolled down before he showed up, and i scrolled back up right before the sound triggered, so it was kinda like i jumpscared myself.
Dunno about you guys, but I want some creepy Flowey and Gaster shit. Like both fused in some... something creepy lol
You know what i noticed
The creation screen where you make a character
The theme is just a slowed down gaster theme
If not that then its at least got the same notes and beats
What about the man behind a tree who offers you the egg in that secret room in the Dark World?
Where is this man
@cool dudes are so cool Bob, thanks
Susie, what happened...
@@zacharyragland3365, I uh, don't know what your talking about.
Why does the audio always give me chills?
I'm so early to the point where I barely came out of my moms womb
Ok then....
"hes down there" is the most ominous thing you could have said, my dude
At the locked door, you can hear the creepy song in the background.
It is actually the slower version of the music in the cell phone.
Ok but have you seen Jevil's face
He's sprite isn't too detailed so no, I haven't.
yes
You can use a teleport hack to teleport into the door and that gives you gaster noises and laughter and intentional glitch effects on a black screen for a few seconds before it goes back to normal
Roxul kaard looks a lot like Gaster....cards...."The man who speaks in hands." You play cards in hands. "The Darkness keeps growing". The entire plot of Delta Rune focuses on you trying to stop the darkness from growing.
There is actualy a youtube who glitched into that door and his entire screen glitched out and a faster face appeared it freaked him out he was looking for faster secrets aswell
ANOTHER ONE **ahem** blah blah the video was a joke FINISH THE FRIGGEN VIDEO PEOPLE
Gaster should be still alive in this game, its most likely a prequel because of sans just moving in and a bunch of other things so im curious where this will lead
Actually, Toby confirmed that this game as in an alternate univerese
@@lukekriebs869 aww man seriously, thats a bummer, it could totally pass as a prequel though
It's not a prequel either because Papyrus didn't even know what a human looked like in Undertale
He confirmed it's more of a spinoff set in an alternate universe, which may have been inspired by the Undertale fans who made alternate universes a common thing in the fandom, called "fanon"
But now, it's pretty much been confirmed by Toby Fox alternate universes fanon has now become canon
if it's a prequel, then why would Gerson be dead?
@@lukekriebs869 Well that makes more sense than it being an actual sequel. Of course, that leaves me with even more questions.
I loved this! There's also one in the jail cells of the castle, its just a pair of eyes but its supposed to be a reference to gaster's hands on his sprite
Doesn't anyone notice that Gaster looked like Roulx Kaard(I don't know how to spell his name) from Delta Rune?
PurpleFox _363 rouxls kaard
THANK you!
I thought I was the only one!
Maybe he's supposed to be the Darkner version, since Gaster had a similar position as Royal Scientist?
0:29 the music also goes up starting to sound like Gaster noises
Im pretty sure Gaster ends up being the final boss of the game
If it is, wow
the angel of death?
@@EpsilonLovesSharks no it is The angel of darker
That
Would be awesome
The noise in the cell phone and Gaster enter is the music "smile" if we do ×66 to it we can understand it's the Muffet laugh.
gaster is everywhere
Whos your friend? He's smiling creepily tell him to stop please
There is some Seam's dialogue that resembles the first part of Gaster's entry.
"Darker. Yet darker"
Sup guys.
*W E ' R E*
*S C R E W E D*
The two characters riding in the cars that undyne stopped also look simmilar to one of the gaster followers. It's the tall dude holding the small thing in the original game, except not grayed out.
New sub!! :v
Probably no one ever noticed this, but Clover's room at the card castle when she's having a party with up beat music, the song kind of sounds like gasters theme, just a little faster, and with other up beat motifs. I think motif is what they are called.
No its lietmotifs but good try
While my sister was playing the game, she did the impossible. Killed Lancer. The game crashed and she then she booted it back up. She died (she isn't very good at games) and Susie and Lancer laughed at her then crashed...
Has this happened to anyone else here?
Hmm did Lancer say anything when/before he died
Woah, how did he die exactly?
@@xenonsean7050 she just died by normal attacks she can't dodge
@@beefboi6071 Susie died right after, I don't know why it did that, but it did.
*calls on cell phone*
*weird noises*
“This is gaster, right?”
“Your phone doesn’t seem to be working.”
“I know you are there. Show yourself.”
*game crashes*
“FFUUUUU”
"No, this is Chara."
At the end when you hear the voice say delta rune it sounds like the noises that Gaster makes when talking(?) In entery 17
There is another easter egg I think references Gaster:
Look at the structure of the “Egg Room”. The structure is similar to Room 269, the Mystery Man room. Another similarity, is that when you try to communicate with the “Man” who gave you an egg, he’s gone, just like Mystery Man in Room 269.
Gaster, piece ,snowflake, 😕,
Death, bomb?. His sounds are so satisfying and I can’t stop rewatching this video. Idk why
find a hack so you can teleport. Then, teleport into the door where you are inside it. you will find a little surprise about g.
Oh cool
@@heheheiamasuperstarwarrior9281 yea.
Anyone else get chills when they first called their cellphone in their playthrough?
Oh, I thought that sound when you try calling on the phone sounded familiar!
At first, I just thought it was a slowed-up version of the original ringtone.
it all adds up... Gaster can never be stopped... If We Try... We Fail... If We Fail.. Its OVER..
Omg the main menu song when your creating your character sounds like Gaster's theme.
*When you realized the game is haunted by the most mysterious character in the series, and his song is in the character creation menu song.*
if i remember right the guy in the car on the left side of the screen where undyne is in the middle of 2 cars also looks like one of gaster's followers?
Don't interrupt gaster, he's fixing his rusty old flying car invention.
I like when you find the shelter there is no music. This makes scenes so dark and so intresting.. sadly nothing for now atleast
Maybe, there's some hidden message in the noise of the call
Gaster is the villain of this game. Calling it. The references to him in Undertale were only prepping for this game, as he'd been working on this before even Undertale.
Thats it, I'm building a time machine to travel to the time where the full game of Deltarune is out and I can find a way into that place.
Kewl can u bring me with
Time is already flowing in that direction. What a coincidence!
Don’t forget about how the game itself started, it was just a continuation of the cryptic tweets posted in undertale’s Twitter. And no matter how you look at it, it is gaster who is talking to you through twitter and he gets to the point in delta rune
3:10 just scared the crap out of me
I was reading the comments and didnt pause the video.
Like Jevil he has space-warping powers (teleportation + Jevil's arena)
Both Seam's face and Rouxls Kaard's face share similarities with the mysteryman sprite as well...
_The man who speaks in hands always lives to see the end._
Fun fact - the weird noise that plays is called a dial tone.
I didn’t know that until a few days ago.
You forgot the one on Undertale on the back of Sans (or Papyrus)'s house and see the image that says "Don't Forget", Deltarune's Credit Music, it says "Don't Forget"
Seems like the more we try finding him. The more we lose sight of him......
Don't forget the hidden room, the song "Man" plays only if you find it, eerily sounds like Gaster
I hope so much that we finally will act with him on the future of deltarune
The shopkeep in the Chaos Castle is Gaster if you invert the color scheme
LMAO oven beeped at the exact same time as that Gaster sound at the end. That was kinda creepy.
ikr like even the music is so reminiscent
Dang the "he's down there" gave me goosebumps
You missed the one where you can go in between the room with the first star bird and the room after and going back and forth.
Also if you loose the battle against lancer and Susie, and then call on the phone you will crash
Also the mistery man who give you the Egg in the Room-Between-Room (Void?)...
I think he's him!
Did nobody else notice in the Jevil fight that one of the ducks in the carasoul attack has the head of one of the amalgamations from Undertale?
