I know this video is older, but I have to tell you guys, it’s made a complete difference in just one day!!! I’ve done these exercises twice now and I’ve lost so much fluid!!! I mean I can’t believe the difference in just one day of how much of how much these helped me!! My ankle swelling is completely gone!! The only thing was with the marching, my knees popped every time 🤦♀️ Thank you guys so much!! I’m so very grateful!!
I just want to start by telling my current situation. It’s currently 5am on a Sunday and I was keeping watch of my mother who currently suffers from cancer. She has stopped treatment due to complications and one of the biggest ones is the leg swelling. Tonight, it was intense, it was brutal from seeing her face and her legs. They almost looked like they were gonna explode. I prayed and when I got to thinking I started looking into how to reduce swelling and your video showed up first. After about an hour of exercises, with mild breaks, I can tell you this was an incredible treatment. Her legs went down to almost back to normal. I mean, it is amazing. I followed the instructions exactly as described and did as much as I could. And even though I wasn’t able to do some of the exercises, it still worked fantastic. You guys are a blessing, thanks for what you do and for doing this video. I’m eternally thankful
You guys are a valuable art of my health care team. I go to you first for so many issues. I can't thank you enough. May your lives be long and full of joy.
Thank you so much! I’m 62 and never had a problem with swelling. Last November feet, legs and thighs got so swollen. Don’t know why. My legs so heavy I could barely get in and out of my car. I avoided stairs as I couldn’t lift my legs high enough . I have fallen a few times because Of dragging my feet as my legs were so heavy. These exercises have been a miracle for me. I’m getting my life back! Thank you!!!
I tried these exercises last night...after many, many years of having edema in my right leg, these exercises WORK. I had to get up three times during the night to get rid of these fluids, but I do notice that my legs are much less swollen than they were. A hat tip to you both...👍
ETA: 11 days after my post, I am pleased to say I continue doing these exercises and the right leg has improved dramatically. I put the leg up two and a half hours a night (watching TV) to get rid of the fluid, in addition to your exercises. I could not be more pleased.
You guys are lifesavers. This is the first time I’ve experienced swelling in my lower extremities. With in minutes of elevating/exercising in a lying position it started going down... bless you!
Dear Bob and Brad, I have been suffering from Leg Edema for about 6 months. I have hypothyroidism as well which made me gain weight. I found working out very difficult. Still I would go ahead with it. End of the day I would have swollen legs and it was very painful. I thank you both from the bottom of my heart for this video. I’m back in form. You both are a blessing to millions of people... Keep up the good work 🙏🏻👍🏻

Working a busy desk job for 8hrs everyday, where you don't have time to get up and stretch, can really build up the fluid in my legs & ankles. These exercises has helped tremendously! I do them in the morning, and before I go to bed. The swelling has decreased dramatically. Thank you!
I've got 4 pillows under my legs and doing these exercises. I can FEEL the fluid working it's way back up my legs (like a tingling feeling slowly moving up). Thank you!
@@diannedelapena8334 my leg edema is a result of long haul covid. Compression socks help with the nerve pain and help with the fluid at night, and while working at my desk. But the exercises help the fluid as well.

Following a daily routine of doing your recommended exercises had immediate results and has maintained the condition under control while I healed from the rest of the injuries. Many, many thanks.
Thank you so much for teaching us people how to get rid of our edema. It's so painfull in my legs and ankles and feet. Tonight was day three of doing them and I am seeing results and my pain is slowly getting better in those areas! ❤
I discovered these exercises after an operation left me with fluids. Despite taking diabetics I still ad the swelling. I started the exercises a couple weeks ago and I can hardly believe the results. My legs have gone back to near normal. I can hardly believe it and it was never mentioned when I was leaving the hospital. Thank you so much for your expertise.
Great video! Thank you so much Bob and Brad! I have symptoms of hypothyroidism. The swelling in my calves and feet have been getting more severe to the point where working out or even walking is becoming unbearable. I just finished doing these exercises with a leg wedge pillow and was taken aback that the relieve was instantaneous. Even my boyfriend noticed a massive difference in my legs. They look almost back to normal again. Thank you so much for your knowledge, I’ll be doing these exercises on a daily basis to keep my edema under control.
I just wanna say this video has helped me tremendously.. and I just found it less than an hour ago.. my legs were so tight and stiff before doing these exercises.. thank you so much
I had edema for OVER A DECADE! Tried plethora of treatment including those tormenting pressure socks which just transfer swelling, and are more painful that edema itself for me. doc's were perplexed. For recent infection, was prescribed doxycycline by a doctor for infection. Side effect was that Edema also went away quickly, infection not so fast. Edema has never returned. YOU MUST TRY THIS!!!
Thank you thank you thank you to you both. Was at my wits end with fluid build up and just found you both and put exercises into practice straightaway. What a difference. ❤️❤️

I think you should try low sodium diets a few times a week, stay away from too much food that comes in packaging. Take magnesium supplements and eats bananas . Lots of water too! No colas or sodas... try it out for a week and see what happens.
You guys are a hoot! So much fun!

I started getting leg and ankle swelling over the past year. I’m 40 years old, an average size weight and for some reason I have started getting ready bad swelling in legs and feet. I’ve stopped wearing shorts or any type of shoe that shows my ankles bc it’s so embarrassing. I find myself just wanting to hide myself away, I feel so ugly. I will definitely give this a try.
Try cutting down on salt/sodium.
No more than 1400-2000mg of sodium daily.

Can you recommend how often every day you should do these exercises for ankle and lower leg swelling for a DVT? I know it would not hurt to do them twice a day. But would it benefit to do these more often to get faster results?
this really is where B&B should reply.
Yea um, Bob? Little help here guys
I'm a recovering congestive heart failure patient, would it be best to do these before or after I take my Lasix?
Thanks very much Bob & Brad. I would add No.8 - Massage.
Is it good/beneficial to walk to help keep the swelling down in your feet due to edema caused by certain medications?
