I was away from home for a little over a week, Mike, and it took a while to get back to the videos. I was moving in other ways, walking and finally had a swim after more than a year not being in a pool, but it was good to do some strength building exercises. Thanks for the reminder to stay consistent. John (from St. John's, NL Canada)

Endurance has interesting, shades of a marathon. Got my heartbeat to around 85 bpm. Looking forward to an upper-body endurance exercise. Thanks, Mike.

Mike, I have to give this routine a thumbs up because it promises to increase endurance even if one must gradually reach the reps you recommend. However, my knees cannot withstand large amounts of reps in the sit to stands and the partial squats. My thighs are very strong, but it's the knees that can't perform this rigorously. Not surprisingly, the heel raises with weights would be absolutely no problem straight away because I do independent daily exercises to strengthen my calves and my thighs. I don't do the kind of long distant walking or stairs that require this level of endurance. I will challenge myself and go as far as I can with this routine, and have promised myself not to get depressed because of my limitations. Wow! This was a fantastic workout! I can feel my heart and my legs are happy, feel alive. I hope to do this every other day for a week and then add more reps. How many do you recommend increasing 2-5 each or more?
Glad you like it Eunice. 🙂Add a third set first, then increase the repetitions after some time.. Go smaller increments each exercise (2 reps).

Bloody hell, Mike, this is a super workout. I really need to start spreading the strength workouts across the week. I have to figure out getting the swimming and the exercises in.

Hi Mike thanks for this cannot do all the repetitions but will keep going.
That's ok Dianne and perfect attitude. Keep note of what you can do. Stay at that for a while and gradually increase the repetitions over time until you can! 🙂💪

Thanks. Just did this one. No problem. Calf’s got tight but ok. Did 15 pushups using a park bench yesterday. 13 was ok. Number 14 ok sort of. 15, won’t be doing that again soon. Because I’m just 3.5 weeks out from stent, going to concentrate on lower body and leave upper body till I can get advice. Have you got cardio rehab videos you can point me too?
Great work Stanley! Slow and steady is the way to go. I don't have any cardio rehab videos at this stage. Maybe this will be something I will get to in the future. Keep up the good work! 🙂

Hey L. This is more challenging of a workout, with the higher reps. Check out some of the ones designed for beginners and come back to this one.
