Route the cable behind the monitor and leave it on the left side. The headset is plugged into the left side so it sits more naturally and you never have to worry about it falling down like that.
Pros +Compatible with all consoles +Clear, clean sound on all formats +USB audio mixer is easy to use Cons -3.5mm wire can be fickle -Better on PC than consoles Don't buy it if : You’re a console-exclusive player The JBL Quantum One certainly works fine with the consoles, but this is clearly a headset created with the PC in mind. The audio still sounds fantastic, sure, but there’s a few technical hiccups that can lead to some mid-gaming session frustration. You prefer a wireless headset As powerful and impressive as the JBL Quantum One is, it is a wired headset. If you prefer something that doesn’t tether you to your laptop or controller, then this headset is not the one for you. You don’t care about surround sound The One is the top of the new JBL Quantum line, so don’t feel like this is the only option. If surround sound or the other bells and whistles aren’t a concern and you’re just looking for a competent headset, other choices are available.
Nice video. Tracking is not for VR its for spatial surround audio. I believe it makes it more immersive by trying simulate head place in ausio scene or something. Meaning that if u look around sound doesnt spin together with head movement.
6:16 It's used to analyze your ears and calculate the surround sound more accurately. I don't think you need the head tracker to be enabled while using it. Also, it's a one time configuration, so you don't have to redo it if you don't want to.
What I did is drill a 80mm hole in the back of my desk and top drawer (I had backing behind the drawer) and run the cable and dial through it so that the dial sits inside my drawer and the cable exits via the hand cutout - works perfectly. In fact, all my audio equipment is in the top drawer off my desk and it makes cable management a pleasure. Mine just sits on the left hand side as I first placed a powered USB 3 hub inside the drawer.
3:30 Dude! Just use some double sided tape! Head Tracking is for added realism, say if you're listening to a recording of a live concert and don't want the concert hall to magically follow your head movements.
Its amazing, no matter the company or price on "gamer" headsets, the mic always sucks :/ Its like cameras on laptops. No matter the cost, even apple, can't produce a decent camera for a laptop :/ Its not impossible or hard, have you heard the mic and camera on even a mid spec smart phone? What's up with that :/
Quality of cushion is bad and 3.5mm jack cable is also bad as my vol button on the cable is malfunctioning. Headband cushion also came off. Using this headphone since 2020
Looking for new headset. 100 euros in nearby shop. Been thinking about logitech g pro x and g535 too. 535 mic just sucks but is newest of those. Worrying the software support ends on older models.

Good to know thank you

That's a good idea!
May I ask you how the ANC work on this headset? Does it cancel the external noise well or can you still hear the outside world while wearing it?

I love this headset. I bought all the major brands turtle beach , hyperx, astro a40, steelseries etc. Best headset for footsteps. But that's just me.
I agree! The Hyper-X Cloud 3 is on the way and I cant wait to try out and compare that one next
Are you satisfied with the bass amount ?
Have you tried Razer? I’ve been using their headsets since my a40’s broke and love them 👌
Great video. Can't deal with plastic headphones
Hello Sir! Between it and the Logitech pro x which do you think is better?
Use velcro to anchor the dial.

You have a really good point, built in mics on headsets really aren't up to par
I gave up and bought a fifine microphone. Never have to worry about headset mics again and buy headset strictly for the audio.

Best tarkov headset

2 years... and now it keeps turning off ... its not my usb.. i just updated it maybe they put a error on the update to people have to buy another one
I just bought the same one 1 week ago and I have the same issue...did you find a solution?
Can I use the USB on a Xbox series x ?
Are the freaking wireless or no?
no
There was a version that was wireless, but seems like they switched to wired only
