Thanks so much for posting this, Poul. The video helps this ex-pat pilot refresh my understanding of procedures in the Lower Mainland. It was surreal seeing Pitt Meadows airport, where I learned to drive before they had paved the first runway.
nakakatuwa mga vlogs mo Sir. aimula nung mga Pinoy travels video mo kaya nahilig narin ako sa aviation. keep it up Sir Poul dream ko narin kaso maging Pilot haha
Dad learned at CYVR 1968 yr before I was born! Fleet Canuck! ! He was a instructor for awhile! Cypk ! CF -xks cypk and cf-hyz cypk! Lots a home builts r.v. 6 a avid and a rv9! How about tony bullows ! 2 world war pilot from Nutsford b.c.
Can u make a video showing your camera setup and what u use for atc audio? Btw I'm Filipino too and currently in flight school too trying to get my PPL in South Carolina
+Mr Legacy for Ppl in canada, we are not required to read back everything. In fact we can just readback our call sign to everything except hold short. 👍🏻
Hello fellow pinoy! I am currently at BCIT right now in lvl 3 going to lvl 4 in about a week! your videos are sick! I've seen you around the school during lvl1-2! Just wanna ask when did you take your private pilot license? and how long did it take you before you get it? Because im planning to get my license too, as i would love to fly a plane by myself! Hope you see this man! :)
+Pierre C kamusta bro? Goodluck! Level 4 is the most braindraining but you'll get through it! I started last february as a weekend flyer. Then after i graduated i became a full time student. I finished all my training about a month a go. I'm just waiting for my flight test pretty much. Weather's been bad the past month kaya i couldn't take the flight test. Hehe. Usually takes about half a year to finish if you fly 2-4 times a week. Hook me up on IG @poulgo or fb, would love to help you out man. See ya around!
Poul Go started lvl 4. it's wayy too dry and it hurts my brain, especially the soldering project. whereabouts is the school for your flying course? and was it really really expensive? I am really eager to get mah license man. I'm also joining military after I get my citizenship. a good mix of experience hehe. anyway. ingat bro! glad to see a fellow Pinoy doing the same thing I'll be doing!
+Pierre C it's only going to get dryer. Make sure you stay awake. Hehe. I fly out of Pacific flying club in boundary bay. Level 8, your instructor will take you guys there for a familiarization flight. It'll take patience and time. What i would suggest is start flying after level 6 or during the rigging portion of level 6. That's when i started too. Lvl 7&8 will be easier from then on. So maybe fly 1 to 2x a week and after you graduate, transition to full time as well. Most of the stuff covered in ground school, stuff we've already taken during level 1 and 2. Definitely helped me a lot. Good luck bro! Shoot me a message if you still have questions. 👌🏻
Poul Go darn ok dude! I'll do that! I can't wait for this! it's so exciting because it's so doable, and you're there to help out if I got any questions. alright I'll hit you up once I get into level 6 or rigging portion. I'll ask you with stuff hehe thanks man! ingat!
nice to see your vids bro, when i was kid Im dreaming to become Pilot but im ended up to be a Nurse hahahah, too far lol! ....anyways thanks for making this vid seems like im flying with you too hehehheh.... greets from Hamburg, Germany.
+salesl01 i wanna get content as much as i can and extend my viewing audience. And this is the only possible content i can produce. If you think it's too much, dont watch it :) besides, i havent flown in a commercial plane in the last 2 years, this is as close as i get. If i get a chance to travel anywhere soon, i'll def post travel vlogs

Shouldn't you be reading back those clearances to tower and not just acknowledging them? or is the law different in Canada?
for example: 6:04 and 10:37
