The kbs high rev 2.0 not tipped is even better for wedges 56 and 58. Tipp inch in 52 and 48 is needed for more wedges heavy weights and full swings. And kbs said can tip in 1/8 inch steps to fine tune the feel on all shafts
Luckily I’ve never hit the ceiling, nor has anyone else, which was a concern I had going with a short depth. However I stay away from my 60* and mainly use my 56*. Also keep in mind to use urethane covered balls such as the Kirkland as they’re an affordable option. Side note, I found the cheaper balls launch dramatically higher in my experience.
Are you going to play the hi rev 2.0 in all the wedges? Or will you play the KBS 105 tour S in, say, a Gap Wedge and sand wedge, but run the Hi Rev 2.0 in the lob wedge? It seems like a great option to have in all the wedges..
just purchased a set of black KBS hi rev wedge shafts for my MG3s! can't wait to install them!
I'd like to see a side-by-side comparison of the Hi Rev and the 610. Both are by KBS with the 610 being a lower flighted shaft.
good to see you back mate😀

I would think you would only see a gain if using a x100 dynamic gold in an 8 iron shaft.
Would love to see how the Hi Rev 2.0 performs against other shafts, I love KBS in my iron shafts but I've never tried it in a wedge!
I’ll try to do a video with a vokey shaft I have laying around. Let me know what you think if you get to trying it first.
Do you have a problem with pushes or occasional high short shots?

Kbs feels more like a workable shaft and even better to me on short shots and the spinner felt more like a wood stick
If really want spin use your 8 iron shaft in heavier weight in wedges
