could you do a video showing how to properly change the wire set for the spark plugs. i know its simple but the adhesive applications is where its gonna get me. i jist put in performance sparks in my 2011 impreza sedan and jist got my new wire set
Yea ill definitely do a video on that, just got a few im working on lined up first
Good luck if you cross thread cylinder head while installing the new plug! 😯
You can tell hes done this on an EJ hundreds of times because of how he effortlessly got the battery hold down hooks into place. No matter how many times i do it, it doesnt make it any easier for me. Those things just fight me tooth and nail. Id rather have to pull and clean the Throttle Body than install the battery hold down, any day of the week.
I needed to see plug change video. Thanks! But why weren’t the wires changed too?
Actually i did change em right after but never got to editing the video which i should edit..i didnt wanna do it all in one video cause of how long the video would of been
Should anti-seize be used on the spark plug threads?
Yes, its genuinely a good idea to add a small amount to the thread, although some newer iridium spark plugs dont require use of an anti-seize, i decided to try that out. but a small amount wont hurt, just make sure its the silver colored.
after how long should I suppose to change spark plugs?
Well the originals are platinum's so every 50k to 60k miles
