Thank you for sharing your talented skills to the public.I really appreciated all of the projects you have been making.I have been learning a lot and make some for myself and been giving gifts to a friends of mine.Thank you!
I need a pull for the bed cover on my truck. I have a monkey fist made around a golf ball but I need to braid the cord to attach a hook to attach to the bed cover. Any ideas?
This is a really cool lanyard, but I have to agree with the rest of people. Your hand is in the way sat the most inconvenient time. I can get started just fine, but after he first couple turns I can't can't tell what your doing to keep it going.. I sucks too, because I really like this lanyard. Thanks for you effort though
Hey could u help me out like in the start im so confused how to make this, I just bought paracord for the first time like I take the white go right with the bottom and left with the top then I get stuck
I get i wasn't overlapping it right and when I got the hang of it I messed up as all my white for this instance red didn't hit all my black like yours does so I'm gonna keep trying till I hit it
You did a great job on the first part with the actual knot, but then your hands were in the way and it was to hard to see what you were doing so can't really make this if I can't finish the rest!
once i have my 2'10" done, i am having a problem figuring out which 2 to pull pulling through the first loop to connect the keyring and start my snake knot. does it matter which 2 i choose to pull through the loop?
just salvage one from a old lanyard or go on amazon www.amazon.com/AllOff-Lobster-Clasps-Trigger-Findings/dp/B00BOLG4W2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1481396359&sr=8-4&keywords=key+ring+clip
+Debbie I do, put in a custom request form on how many you need on my etsy page here www.etsy.com/conversations/new?with_id=35413699&ref=owner_contact_leftnav and I will put in the price with shipping for you to purchase.
Brody Jones take into account how many of these you can make with 100 feet of cord, price the time it takes to make it, and also include the variable of need
Brother you have got to watch a few tutorials on paracord watch what they do watch how they get their fingers out of the way watch how they explain the knot you know what you're doing there's no doubt about that but teaching is an entirely different thing boredparacord is a good one to watch and knots of eternity I hope you take this as a constructive criticism cuz you're pretty good at what you do you just need to refine your teaching technique a little bit thank you Joe
Your obviously trying to confuse and frustrate anyone watching this, your hands or fingers just happen to be in the way but only at certain "key" areas , if we struggle through these parts and finally get to putting the key ring on...OH...cut this, cut that " and now I have to melt these 2 prices together to make them one" ..." I'll be right back"...poof! There it is ...knowing you have to go through a certain process to FUSE them together , not MELT them together like you said...this said an EASY WAY FOR BEGINNERS TO MAke A LANYARD. WASTE OF PEOPLES TIME REALLY
@@davidbell2709 thank you but no...your completed projects does not help me complete mine..ive since learned many different methods to complete this particular braid...wasnt trying to be rude by my comment. I was just frustrated by the tutorial ....it was helpful but very limited.
You explain the first steps very well... until you say "repeat the process." But the process appears to be different. You're now going under on all steps? Who knows... because you're not explaining the next steps. And, as has been commented already, your fingers are in the way for much of it. I'm assuming this video is for people who already know how to do this... because your process of explanations are not for beginners.
Don't wear a thing like this. You can get strangled by accident by it if you get it caught in something or if you get into a fight for some reason the other guy can grab it to get a simple way to threaten your life. You should always have a break off piece in a necklace like this.
This is the only tutorial I could find so I'm gonna use it. Thanks.
Let me know if it worked for you. 👍🏼

Your hands are in the way. When you start which is the most important part

I have quite a few lanyards already completed. Would you like to see them? boots954r@gmail.com
I've done a lot of these round braid lanyards, and have never finished one off with a snake knot.
The stuff you use looks very flexible, but the paracord i'm using is a little stiff. Anyway to soften it up?
Toby Beswick probably soak it in some fabric softener for a while.
Your Paracord is probably a bit higher quality than this. I've noticed that with cord I buy.
Would be useful to know which two cords that is connected to the keyring... As for the braiding I had to look up another, more comprehensive tutorial.

How many total feet of paracord does it take to make this lanyard?
+Prophetic Legend 10 feet of the white paracord and 10 feet of the blue . So total is 20 feet together.

if using this in any environment that it could get caught in, you should have a breakaway clasp. like for wearing an ID card in a work place.

This is not easy
not the best material for a neck lanyard. if it gets caught up on something or in something then your neck is breaking before this does.
It's fucking impossible
I fucking pissed off I can't do this
Whole lanyard relys on singed nylon for strength, highly suggest you move on
your too hard to get ...i cant understand what ur doin dude
How long of a neck lanyard does this make? I don't want a real short one. at least 16 inches in length from hook neck to hook.
