Thank you! I did it! :) :) :) I have watched many of your dog leash videos. I gave myself some extra cord. And I did it! SWEET. I had to redo the original loop 3 times. I had it too tight to begin with. No worries! I am a new follower. Times are limiting right now. No worries. It will all get better... Blessings and Re Jouir -Darlene :) :) :)
@@Paracordguild Right. Saw that. By adjustable I meant some kind of noose that can be adjusted to fi the wrist size of the dog walker. This way a person with a bigger arm can loosen the noose and a person with a thinner arm can tighten it. Not sure if noose is the right word here. The point would be to have some kind of loop that would be loose enough to feel comfortable around the wrist and at the same time it would be tight enough so that the leash would not come off the hand with a sudden dog bolt. I'm not sure whether what I am trying to describe is clear...
@@Paracordguild I did the Lazy paracord dog leash for my black Labrador Ziggy. I learned from your video, so Thank you 🙏🙏🙏 BTW do you have an Instagram account?
Hello Mark, I made two of these with out the decorative turkes head knot, one for each end of my hammock. I wanted something not so bulky yet strong, and it has worked very well. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks Marc I've been looking for something like this for ages. If you put a fid on each end of the cords before starting the 4 Starnded Round Braid it makes it easier and quicker, you also end up with a more even finish.
I've been making knots for decade's. Now instead of tie/un-tieing. Your fantastic tutorial video I spend Far less time doing my bothersome 2-step. Cheers !
Hi Randy, I had trouble too, try slowing the video down to .5 speed and following along. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts at normal speed I tried it slower and that seemed to help. Also, try to see which strand you are following with the over unders and that can help as I got lost a few times! Good luck.
Wow, that 'decorative knot' was tough. Had to restart a couple times, and slow everything down, and rewatch each step about 10 times haha. But considering it's only like the 2nd paracord braid project I'm doing, I guess that's okay. Great tutorial! Thanks.
Your over under was confusing. Just when I would say over two, you'd say under one. Yet, I know that doing and following will make more sense than just watching.
yfelwulf no idea why you think that being left handed makes any difference in his explanation. It is confusingly worded, add to that he spins the knot making it much easier to get lost. Counting “over” at the bight pass is also misleading.
I'm a perfectionist. But I can see this taking 15-20 mins (or less)to tie. I over tightened the “twisted knot”. And I'm finding it difficult to create the 4-strand round braid due to very little slack cuz I didn't leave it loose like you did. Awesome video! I'll be making more of these and getting it down. Thanks Mark 😎
Not a very good explanation of the Turks head part, very hard to follow. Struggling through it on my 4th attempt now and I think I’m going to find different videos to understand it better. Love the content all the same but can’t get this part down.
Im using leather...This is a blast when I get it.Im amazed at whomevr developed the paracord knots and braiding styles Im learning...is it an ancients art ?? Whats the origins??
Wow! Handsome end result!
Good
I like this one. Very neat with just one strand. Thank you.

Thank you for a kind comment!
Keep up the good work!
This one is wonderful! I was looking for a keychain for my sister and this is perfect! Thank you!
simple? :D was close to smash my labtop still trying the decorative knot
“Relatively simple lanyard.” I think knot!
Looks awesome! As a beginner I had better start with simple zipper pulls.
can i recommend the 2 strand square key chain its easy fun and make it to your own length
Love it.
i did this with some blue shoe lace, its not as neat as urs but thx anyways :p ur the man
very nice i like it
Hi would this be strong enough for a dog leash?
Awesome! Can it be made adjustable? so as to be able to adjust the loop size so that it can be used at the end of e.g. a dog leash among other things?
Hey!
I have a tutorial on an adjustable paracord dog leash. Take a look:

@@Paracordguild Ahh.. nice! Thanks for this! :)

Класс, тоже такой сделаю
I must be slow. I've watched this 20 times and I cannot get the 7L3B knot down at all.
Am I the only one who thought about oxygen and a very popular 80s band from Ireland?
...
I've heard this man on another channel
The Count in Sesame Street :)
Your hands are still blocking the view of the laces
💋
Gimme some of your skill, please!
Hehe, thank you for the compliment. You can do this too!

Сложно. Хер проссыш шо он куда там тянет.
Cant catch up your accent...
He can't pronounce the letter R and I guess he is from France maybe?
Brain :we can do this !
Hands : No! No way !
jajajajajajajaja is same for me
Thanks Marc for the really good instructions and videos. I have already copied a few of your knots. Greetings from Switzerland.
Turks heads. Nice. I’m looking for a Turks head variation to cover the T shaped SS pipe on a friends verandah. Any suggestions?
Dracula knows his knots !
Hehe, a compliment and a burn. I'll take it :).
7L3B Turk's Head, Attempt #62....lost me again.
Hello Mark, I made two of these with out the decorative turkes head knot, one for each end of my hammock. I wanted something not so bulky yet strong, and it has worked very well. Thank you so much for sharing.
That knot at the end is extremely hard to follow lol I’ll get sometime in the near future I hope
How do you get you cord to magically stay in place???!!!! I've tried this 4 times and can't get the cord to stay in the place it needs to be.
Thanks Marc I've been looking for something like this for ages.
If you put a fid on each end of the cords before starting the 4 Starnded Round Braid it makes it easier and quicker, you also end up with a more even finish.
Don’t you mean lacing needle?
You need to not spin your work as you go. You need to keep in one spot. When you spin your work when trying to teach you screw up the watcher.
Thought the same

I do apologize but two days now trying to make 7L3b Turks head no success. There has to be a easy way of going about this?
Hi Randy, I had trouble too, try slowing the video down to .5 speed and following along. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts at normal speed I tried it slower and that seemed to help. Wish you can make a video explaining how to recognize a turks head from a gaucho from etc....
Muchas gracias Mark por el diseño esta muy bueno pero un poquito difícil
Felicidades por tu creatividad
Lovely item and great tutorial. TIP if you want a split ring on this, put it on before you join the ends together ;-)
Maravilloso yo lo intentaré ❤
Why 'perdacorded', it simply is para cord? Very very nice though!
I really like the your technique in creating the loop. Have you ever used the same technique in creating a bracelet.
how long was the cord to start with?

I'd think start from the right hand, and the left hand go over the right cord is easier then the right cord go behind the left.
Muy bueno,,gracias...
I tried so hard to do the finishing knot and gave up. It was so confusing and I got discouraged. Was just hard for me to follow😞
Just order one from Amazon 🙂
I gave up too!
Your over under was confusing. Just when I would say over two, you'd say under one. Yet, I know that doing and following will make more sense than just watching.
He's left handed showing RIGHT HANDERS how to tie knots that's why his work looks confusing.

@@tartarus216 Is that what he's doing? I've given this part 10 tries and still have never had the over and under counts match.
Thank you, you have helped with a new hobby
Really great video. Clear instructions, love the step by step.

Hey Luke!
I like how you think. Practice makes perfect and your second one is going to be much better!

Too long, no need to see the same for 10 mn
A lot of work...excellent descriptions 🤓❤️
wow great. with this and my paracord bracelet i should be able to survive anything. geeks.
Awsome work
a four strand braid with 2 strands ... brilliant Mark
"Relatively simple". 😂
Íbamos bien asta la aguja
How many twists did you end up with at 12” because mine looks smaller and has about 20 twists?
Just getting into this and learned how to make rope and this is a cool way of doing this
На второй части мозг закипел....
Paracordede?
What's the name of this "knot"?
Turks head
very difficult but cute
Extending what?!!!!

Very interesting.
Didn't try yet but do you think it's possible to transform an already done 4 strand RB into a 6 strand RB?
Very clear to understand well done
Easy always means difficult!
Очень интересно, но ничего не понятно

Very good
what length of rope is needed, for how much leash?
18feet - 20 feet made me a perfect lanyard for neck

So you made one😁
More than one :).

Most of the knots and techniques used in paracord today are passed down from sailors' fancy ropework, dating back centuries.
@@alexandragatto Correct and there is also roots in the macrame field.
Thank you. I believe this will be strong enough to hang my hammock from. It's a very strong weave.
