You know, it is consistent but it didn't hit me until recently HOW consistent it is -- which I think is going to help me reduce the amount of 'planner crisis' moments I get myself into because my system isn't working... just to move into the SAME set up just a slightly different book. LOL. I'm excited you're gonna shop your stash a bit more upcoming - I'm sure it will feel super satisfying!
Right?! I feel so silly for getting myself in a tizzy when I end up using the same structure, regardless of what book or rings binder I'm in 😅 It feels good to have that 'aha' moment!
I’ve binge watched your whole channel the past several days. I really resonate with everything. My light bulb moment is that I canNOT have anything dated. I’ve held off buying Common Planner the past two years because I didn’t want to fail at one more planner. But I think her undateds and notebooks are my holy grails. I’ve been planning for decades, so I’ve acquired enough supplies to last me for 10+ years 🤦🏼♀️ I’m looking forward to continue following your journey. It’s been uplifting, comforting, and validating. 💕 ETA: have you watched Monique Plans? You remind me of her (all good! 😊) Her system stays the same, but she uses a different notebook every month for all of her planning and journaling.
Oh my gosh, you are so kind!!! I feel you 100% on dated planners - we just don't vibe lol. And I just checked out Monique's channel based on your rec and LOVE it, thank you!!!
This was really helpful, thank you for sharing! I've been debating between continuing in an A5, or switching to B6 or standard TN size for my bullet journal in 2025. I haven't bought anything yet, I've been waiting till I felt really sure so I don't over buy. You are really selling me on the standard TN size with these books!
Honestly, I love the Standard TN size! I feel like it's narrow enough when closed, big enough when open, but it doesn't take up a TON of room on my desk or in my backpack/purse. I tried it for the first time in Nov. 2023 and fell in love so I'm glad to finally be back in this size!
@@elenamplans I have big handwriting, I've trained myself to write smaller but its still on the larger side, that's probably the biggest thing holding me back. A5 is just too big to carry everyday. Sounds like a standard tn might be a good compromise! Thank you!
@@morganstokes5351 Ok this is valid! Idk if I have 'big' handwriting but tbh, sometimes I don't write in the GRID I write on the line... and take up two grid spaces, on the 4mm grids. Just depends on how I'm feeling that day. That way I can still write in a straight line but I can write a little bigger if that's what feels good that day. I'd say, pick up a standard notebook that isn't too big (maybe a freely noted) or even grab an A5 stalogy half year for $12 on Amazon, then have it cut down to standard width to test out with minimal risk/$$ involved and test a few layouts in it/journaling pages etc :)
Really love your idea of using things up. Always have to remind myself I‘ve got so many empty Notebooks at home that i can use even though all these hauls keep tempting me.. On a different Note: sorry if this is rude but do you mind sharing how old your hand tattoos are? (i really Like how they look and plan on getting sth similar but everyone keeps telling me how fast they fade…)
Right?? Like… let me shop my stash hehe. And my hand tattoos are roughly 5 years old? Some of them 3, are newer but yes I’ve had the older ones touched up once but they don’t really fade quite as bad as people say. I think a lot of it depends on the artist, and also your own body chemistry!
My planning system is so similiar except I work in HR with payroll and benefits so I need to keep a seperate planner for that. Love the passport booklet add on. Been considering that for 2025. I picked up those PMC days/dates... they are currently 54% off. My two sterling ink B6 planners came in and they didn't spark any joy 😢 beautiful, but I'm assuming that's a sign. I have 6 fountain pens inked, but they stay inked for months on end. Considering cutting that down too. I only use them for journaling. I prefer my uni one for day to day planning and notes.
The PMC stickers while they're on sale are SUCH a good move - that's why I picked mine up already 😅 I've used other 'daily' stickers but these are by far my favorite. I'm sorry you're not loving your B6 planners 🥺
@@elenamplans great minds and all!! My hope is I will have everything I need and if I run out of a preferred type of item I will probably still have something else to substitute. The goal is a no or as low as possible stationery buy as possible.
That's how I feel - I likely have more in my stash of things like coffee stickers, book sticker, etc... so I'll use up what I have BEFORE I buy more. But if I actually run out of a specific item I use regularly, I DO give myself permission to restock because that to me feels very different than just buying more (or similar) of something I already have, that I haven't finished... yeah. Ha.
Your planner system looks consistent. I'm in the same spot, I own to much stuff, I want to use things up. I will cheer you along the way 🙂

Thank you! I love that you give yourself the freedom to use as many books as you need. It is perfect.
Right?? It’s a game changer for me! I deserve to take up whatever space I need to, even in journaling 🫶🏻
Love this!! There is something sooo satisfying about knowing what system works for you and not getting confused about all the options ❤😊
