My best trick I’ve learned this year is to tab your pages in groups!
All of my morning trackers and spreads are tabbed together, my evening trackers tabbed together, my weekly trackers tabbed together, my monthly trackers are tabbed together. So I know when I get thru all my tabs for that part of my planner check in, I can feel confident that nothing got missed. And now, I know what order those spreads need to be in for 2025!

I know that some people like to go into great detail on their goals. I prefer to keep mine simple and concise, but then I add Project Notes pages to the back of my planner where I detail the lengthy list to track all the parts of a project. I consider that and my Recurring List to be the places I go to "shop" for my quarterly (and therefore monthly and weekly) tasks/projects.

I go back through the year and flag the pages I loved either the decor or maybe a setup 😊

I think figuring out the why there is a need for a planner/any specific planner is THE most important tip. It can save you so much money and time. As far as goals go, I am a sahm. I don't have a ton of career goals so I often think I don't need to worry about goals in general. Creating fun goals as well as personal growth goals though will be a focus for me in '25 so as to move into "thrive vs merely survive" mode for the coming years as my kids get older.

I have to say that I found your info very helpful. For 2025 I am switching to pocket rings. I want to be more productive and organized. I have been watching other UA-camrs for inspiration. Some have too much info and others don't have enough. I usually don't use daily inserts but this coming year I will only have a general daily format. Probably a foldout for 7 days. The Recurring Task List, the detailed Trigger List, and gathering supplies was wonderful. Thanks

Love it. I'd add don't over- think it, and don't force it ( If it doesn't work for you, don't try to force it cause you spent $X on it, or it's so pretty, etc ). I'm guilty of doing both. Currently, overthinking my choice for 2025, and idk why, cause it'll all come together just fine. Thanks for the video!

this was the best video I've seen all season...especially your last tip about watching for rabbit holes (at least that's what I wrote down in my notes as I look at the pile of boxes from Amazon and Happy Planner and almost every other "planner company" known to man stacked half way to the ceiling that I still need to take out to the trash 🤪) Thank you!!!

Thank you Planning Annie! This is both great information and motivation to start thinking about … well, the whole planner thing! This is both an exciting and stressful time of year thinking about both the year to come and finishing up all that needs doing this year. Thank you, thank you!

This was very helpful. I get so caught up in collecting things and ideas that I frequently don’t get anything into my actual planner, so thank you for providing these tactics.

These are great tips and will definitely try for 2025. For the grocery list though, i found that making a digital checklist is helping me a lot. Usually all items are already ticked off and as I go through them before shopping, i untick those lacking 😊

The Weekly Review questions that are working very well for me in this season of life are:
      1. What went well this week?
      2. W hat challenges did I face this week?
      3. What lessons did I learn this week?
      4. What were my bliss moments or highlights this week?
      5. What can I do to make next week better?
      6. What are some fascinating stories I could tell about this week?
I use a separate inexpensive notebook for this. I love having this glimpse into my week's history. It also helps me recall the many good things that I experience each week.

I have a multi planner system. Do you recommend the recurring task list to be in the catch all? Or I have a planner that goes with me from year to year. Best there? Thanks. Love your content.

I keep my list in my catchall bc I know it is going to change and be updated periodically through the year.

So in the box of things you collected to set up a new planner, you had these mini midori tabs. I don’t see the link for them. Do you know exactly what they are called? Thank you!!!
And thank you for the amazing tips in this video
