  • In this video, I am brainstorming my 2025 planner system. I know everyone has a different process on how to pick a 2025 planner but I hope this videos shares how someone from the #plannercommunity chooses their planning system.

How are you planning for your 2025 planner system? What are the planners you are thinking about using?

My journaling style is similar to yours. It's rare that I need an entire page, to reflect on my day. I usually write a paragraph or two about my day and sometimes I skip days. I'm planning on getting an A5 Hobonichi Day-free, which I'll cut down to a b6 (because I don't want to buy an A5 cover since I don't own any). I'll use the monthly section for daily gratitude and the daily grid undated grid pages for "daily" journaling.

Thanks so much for watching and sharing. I do not need an entire page to journal. I literally write about a paragraph or two when it comes to journaling. I think a B6 is a perfect size or B6 Slim. So I am hoping that it will be a great size for me to write. I love that you use the monthly section for a daily gratitude! That is an awesome idea.

Really enjoyed this video, thank you so much for sharing. You have such a calm and clear way of talking! I am deep in planner decision fever and although I’ve been doing this long enough to know it isn’t so serious, the Hobonichi store goes live in about 14 hours and I still don’t know what to order so I am getting wound up a bit haha! So I really appreciated hearing your thoughts and the clear and calm way you discussed this. Thank you!

👋🏽I’m going to be using an A6 ring planner as usual. But, I’m going to try using only weekly inserts. I also might try using an A7 planner for a couple of weeks, just to see how it is.

Oh yes! I wasn't quite as graphic as you were, but I really laid out all my needs on paper and all the reasons that the 3 hobonichi weeks (for example) did not work at all this year. My main issue for 2025 is to not buy a whole bunch of planners like this year and to stick to one or 2 planners at most. I'm going with the hobonichi a6 for planning, (because I really need more space than the Weeks) and the Cousin for daily recap and work. Most of work (projects, meetings) will be in a separate notebook though.

Hello and thanks for watching Cherylly. I like the idea of writing all the reasons the your current system did not work for you this year. I am in the same boat you are in. I did not want to buy a whole bunch of planners for 2025 as well. I want to keep it minimal but I also want to make sure I am using what I have functionally and with a purpose. A6 is a great size and the Cousin is great for a daily recap and work. Thanks so much for sharing.

Sterling Ink Daily Dated Planner Combined with a Sterling Ink Horizontal Yearly Compact or Booklets might be the perfect combo for you.
