Just asking here, but wouldn’t it be better and also brighter to the drivers directly behind you (but a lot more difficult) to have all of the LEDs facing directly backwards? On all these illumaestetic kits I notice all the boards curve with the shape of the tail lamp lens, so most of the LEDs don’t face directly behind the car. I’m thinking I’m going to have to mold some plastic or epoxy to have my LEDs facing directly backwards.
it could defiantly be better for brightness! but to be honest the illumaesthic kits and most of the builds that we do are much more about the Form vs Function and I try to make that as clear as possible to our customers

great work Please can I know how many pixels are in the LED? Is it possible to use 8mm LED instead of 5mm LED?
im not sure how many leds we used on this build
you can create a board with 8mm holes for the bigger leds but the illumaesthic boards are always going to be meant for the 5mm leds

Should have! I know you can order chrome direct from Illumaesthetic but i forgot until after we got the boards
I've cut a few chrome boards red chrome and silver.
Have u ever finished a set and all of a sudden leds go out lol.. i fuckin hate that
hahaha thats the worst!! like testing it a few dozen times with no problems and then you go do the final showcase video and boom 3 leds are out and the turn signal somehow doesn't work any more hahaha
