This is the first time I have ever made a wearable piece. Thank you so much. I enjoyed making it.
Awe! I'm so glad you liked it. Thank you so very much for the feedback 🖤
I just made this using Bernat Blanket yarn. First project using this type of yarn. It's very cute and will make a nice gift for my daughter. Now one for me, my sister and my niece. :) Thank you for sharing!
Ooo! I'd love to see how that turned out! Just fyi, I did end up making a new tutorial for this ear warmer. Head to my channel or click the link at the beginning of this video to check it out :)
I read the reviews and worried I wouldn’t be able to do this, but after a few false starts, I’ve nailed it. Ok, your speed and yarn choices could have been better for a tutorial but it’s not terrible! Thank you for making the video!
I completely agree with you! Which is why I have made a brand new tutorial. Head to my channel or click the link at the beginning of this video to check it out :)
It took me a couple tries, but once I got, BAM! Had a adult size headband done in 1 hour! Thanks!!
That makes me so happy to hear!! Thank you for the feedback :) I did end up making a new tutorial though. Head to my channel or click the link at the beginning of this video to check it out :)
I had to watch video several times because this was a new such for me but once I tried several times, it turned out beautiful. Love, love, love. Thx so much for the tutorial.
puppet1039 Thank you so much for the feedback! Next time I'll try to make it a bit more beginner friendly 😁 don't forget to tag @kaykrochets on Facebook/ Instagram so i can see your beautiful creation!!

This is my absolute favorite! I have used it multiple times for presents and just made one for myself tonight! I cant wait tot wear it!
Aw! That makes me so happy to hear. I'm so glad you like it. Thank you for the kind feedback!
Thank you for this tutorial! I'm fairly new to crocheting, but I catch on easily and this was super easy to follow and make. Mine looks beautiful just like yours and I'm so happy it turned out. I know a lot of the comments said it was too fast or music was distracting or they got confused but I liked the music and I just paused when I needed to. Luckily I have worked with a treble before, so that wasn't a problem. Thank you again. I can't wait to make more!
You're so sweet! Thank you so much for the kind words :) I did end up making a new tutorial for it though. Head to my channel or click the link at the beginning of this video to check it out :)
Beautiful headband, thank you for the video and the writing explanations; For the speed of the video we can chose it on the wheel in the bottom of the video.
Tinh Niem Thank you so much for the feedback! I'm so glad you enjoyed it 😁
This pattern is beautiful! I worked it in double so it's a thick ear warmer. No problems with the pattern at all. Thanks
That makes me so happy to hear! Thanks for watching ❤
I loved the video. You didn't go to fast. You were very clear. My ear warmer turned out awesome. Thank you!!!!!:-)
I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed the tutorial, Debra! Thank you for the kind words 😙
Beautiful pattern .. I 'll try it soon . Thank you dear ❤
So cute! Great video too. Music/voice over, start, continue, finish was perfect! Thank you! And I can't believe I wasn't already following you here! Love you on IG so what was my problem? ❤ Lol...😂
Aw 🥰 Thank you so much for supporting me on both platforms!! I'm glad you enjoyed this tutorial, but I promise I've gotten better 😂 There's actually a new tutorial for this headband!
Great video, did not have any problems following, just kept pausing at each new round until I caught up with you, great job, will make multiple warmers in different colors. Thank you.
Veronica Seats Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial 😁
Thank you so much! I made my first one in 30min and it looks beautiful! Great pattern, great tutorial!

I love this project exactly what I was looking for , found that it was well to fast for me and I'm not a beginner . I also found it a little hard to follow my arrows seemed to be off centre . Will persevere till I've got it right . Thank you very much . Linda from near Liverpool
I completely agree with you! Which is why I have made a brand new tutorial. Head to my channel or click the link in the beginning of the video to check it out :)
My family loves these and thinks I should make them for sale, though mine aren’t as nice looking as yours. I hope I’ll get better with practice. Thanks for making the video! It’s so much easier for me to follow than a printed pattern and helped to get me interested in crocheting again.
Awe! That makes me so happy to hear! Thank you so very much for the kind words and feedback :) Btw, I did end up making a new tutorial and there is now a written pattern with a stitch chart! Head to my channel or click the link at the beginning of this video to check it out :)
Love this mine came out beautiful with the color way I used. Thank you❤😍🧶
My pleasure!! So glad you like it ❤
Thought it was great.. my suggestion is to do a couple more rows before you stop. I made one for my mom and it came out great. Thanks for sharing
I used fur yarn for the borders. Kids love it.
This was easy for me since I just learned cable stitches on a blanket using the v stitch treble. . The video I learned from went a lot slower. . And I agree with the music being distracting. I'm add.. without already knowing the stitch I would have been lost. . I promise this is positive feedback and I liked your video and added it to my favorites. I look forward to seeing more videos from you. .
Michelle Williams Thank you for the feedback! I'll try to make my next tutorial more beginner friendly 😁

I want to thank you very much for sharing your talents with us. I made this ear warmer for myself and I love how it turned out. You had talked a little too fast for me. I had to keep watching the video and work with you. But thank goodness for the pause and rewind button. I finally got it right 👍🏽😁. Now to make my mini me 👩🏻 whose 4 months one too😍❤️❤️❤️ It’ll look gorgeous with her thick hair 😉😀💕I found you on IG too. I love your gorgeous work. Keep up the awesome work and sharing. It’s the best part when someone as talented as you shares. 🤗💕Trista of G.Villa
shigurly Awe 🙈 Thank you so much for the feedback! Next time I'll try to make it a bit more beginner friendly 😁

I find this works up to a super cute pattern! I've made it a few times now and would LOVE to figure out how to make it wider and with more sets of arrows. Gotta do some trial and error, but I can't wait!
just double what she did on here, this was done with a row of 7, do 14 it should work out
You rock, @@thepuresthoney ! Thanks for helping out :)
Great pattern, will be doing it,the only thing I would change is that when I crochet I tuck the tail of my yarn and crochet over it as I work saves weaving the ends in when I am finished my projects
Yesss!! That's the best way to do it. Btw, I made a new tutorial for this ear warmer. Head to my channel or click the link at the beginning of this video to check it out :)
I love this video. I am making headbands for my niece and her daughter and this is great. I have already made each of them one but they want more. Thanks for a great job on the video

I made one and planning to make a couple more of different colors. Very easy and cute. Took me a couple hours. Would be nice to have a tutorial with the same “arrow” stitch for a matching neck warmer.
I'm so glad you liked it! I can't wait to see your finished earwarmers 😁 And this design would be so cute on a neck warmer!
Love love love this pattern and video! I didn’t have any super bulky yarn, so I doubled up a worsted weight…it stitched up perfectly and so quickly. Santa will be putting several of these in my friends’ stockings. Liked and subscribed!
Aw! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for the kind feedback ❤

Hi Kay I absolutely LOVE this pattern but I found it hard to follow because you crocheted too fast and didn’t show the “V” stitch or arrow enough times for me to “get it”. I wish you had shown it at least three or four more times so that the repetition is plainly seen. Also because the yarn was so dark it was hard to see or rather harder to follow. I will continue to watch it over and over until I figure it out because it is GORGEOUS!!!! And I just love it. Is there a written pattern we can pull on line to help??Thank you for sharing such a beautiful pattern using chunky yarn.
I completely agree with you! Which is why I have made a brand new tutorial and now have a written pattern available on Etsy and Ravelry :) Head to my channel or click the link at the beginning of this video to check it out!
This is awesome, thank you! I am going to attempt to make it with Super Bulky yarn with a wool mix.

Hi, is it possible to do a double arrow? Thank you ❤
If I heard you correctly (music was distracting, but I have listened to this several times) . Row 1: SC in the first 3, CH 1, SK the next (which is where the TR goes in Rw 3. Then SC in the remaining chains.// So wherer exactly did the second chain hole get placed for the second TR in row 3? Please unconfuse me. Thank you. Blessings

Love the pattern!! It looks amazing 😍 I watched the part with the "arrow-row" about 10 times :D but once you memorized it it is so easy and fun to do 😍😍

*crying laughing*
Would love to make this but I am a beginner and need a video where the stitches are slower.
I completely agree with you! Which is why I have made a brand new tutorial. Head to my channel or click the link at the beginning of this video to check it out :)
Thank you! This was so quick! I love this as an easier alternative to the cable stitch ;)
Row 2 requires you to place a stitch into the ch 1 space (which is created in row 1).....but if you are repeating rows 2 & 3 how do you work into a ch 1 space that isnt there?
Wouldnt you have to repeat rows 1-3 in order to get the arrows on the same side?
I'm on the struggle bus with this one because repeating rows 2 & 3 only is making my arrows end up on opposite sides.
How did the people who say this pattern worked get around not repeating row 1?
Good question. She commented on many other older comments 5 months ago that an updated slower video for this pattern is in the works but I haven't found it yet. Good luck!

For beginners I know I need to see the pattern done in a couple of rows you say to just repeat the 2nd and 3rd row the whole way down but I couldn't figure out where to insert the yarn to create another arrow. Had to take completely apart.
Sorry to hear that you had a hard time following the tutorial. I agree, I could definitely gone slower and repeated the steps again. I have actually created an updated tutorial for this earwarmer that'll be available soon!!

Love this pattern, I am trying to add a picture. I added something to the border that I think dresses it up a bit. How do I add a picture?

I've tried to do what you instructed, but it seems like I'm missing a stitch in one of the rows, which throws me off in the next rows. I completed your twisted turban headband, which admittedly is a lot simpler, and I am enjoying wearing it in our very cold Idaho winter.

Unfortunately a bit too fast for me a d I forgot what I did on the first 2 rows so would have be helpful to repeat exactly where the chain one went etc but maybe I'll get there one day and be able to follow properly
I highly recommend checking out the updated tutorial I recently made for this earwarmer! See the description for the link 😄

This is a beautiful pattern, and your instructions were clear; however, if you could’ve used a lighter-colored yarn, your tutorial would’ve been better IMO.
