Great tutorial, easy to follow! I've made two of them! I made the second one for my 7 yr old granddaughter. I made it a little more narrow by chaining 13 instead of the 19. They both turned out beautifully!
    Thanks so much!

Thank you so much! This is my first project other than hats and scarves and it came out absolutely beautiful! I'm new to crochet, and thought I was biting off way more than I could chew with this, especially being for a Christmas gift, but it turned out awesome!! Very easy to follow video, thank you!!

This is a great pattern. I love the effect from this stich. It took me awhile because my tension is too tight (I'm a beginner) but I pushed through and finished it. It turned out great! Thanks for sharing.

Well done tutorial, I've made three already. Have to agree with others, this is a beautiful pattern. I've never thought of doing a slip stitch and half double crochet together to make a pattern. I've only used a slip stitch to join. NICE!

I made this today and it's great. The only thing I had to change was the number of rows for the little cover piece in the front (I originally made it how you showed, but it didn't cover my zig zags so I had to remake it to be 7 stitches in width. Now it's perfect). Thank you for your tutorial - I will be sure to have warm ears this winter :)
