Thanks for the tut BR. I thought I'd see how easy it would be to replicate this using Blender Physics and it was pretty straight forward. Thanks again.
Smart method, so simple! There are "specialized" softwares that works with this kind of mechanical movements, like Catia, but they are VERY expensive. Blender, in the right hands, does the same, for free!! Thank you for sharing this knowledge!
Great and wonderful. i will use it for engineering projects soon i think. are u available also for personal supprot/explanations? thanks a lot in advance. Sergio
Pls! i need help!!! note - u had INPUT and OUTPUT.. but i made both as inputs named as SHAFTLeft and SHAFTRight.. cauz i needed to make two-way rotations.. Just donno.. for some reason.. when i try to drag the any of the AIMS of those tracks for the CROSS u made there which are attached to Input.. it rotates uncontrolled.. [try to drag the aim] thats the only problem.. and also.. i wish u would reply me with how to rotate them using those TRACKS instead of using that CROSS. download link of my file wikisend - [wikisend.com/download/487848/Tracker_Joints_MeshRaft.blend] Dropbox - [www.dropbox.com/s/p6mghgaua07nfjz/Tracker_Joints_MeshRaft.blend?dl=0 ] [alternative for Wikisend] Thanks.
10 years later and this explained it perfectlty and even taught me a thing or two about the different tracking constraints!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO! This has helped me sooo much in my engineering.
Great job, thanks for sharing how to do this.
hey this is really cool and actually very easy to setup!
Very nice.

Please tell me, how i can simualte permament magnets with Blender. That will be verry important to explain magnet motor ideas. Thanks.
looks great but both of your linked files in the zip are already done. One is shiny, the other is mat grey, both are already rigged.
Really great do you know if this rig imports into Unreal 4? Thank you.
With bones you can control it with any direction.
BRILLIANT!
BTW:: HOW DID YOU DRAW JOINTS...
SPRINGFIELD,VA
Very nice work :) Thanks so much!
Bravo! ... and thank you!
thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you,
The Algorythm brought me here
Очень круто! Все получилось Спасибо!!!
Fantastic
Thanks !
Marvelous.
why ctrl T doesnt work
I was wondering how you could rig a u-joint with a "food" blender. Now i know. You can't. LOL
SHOOOOOW!!!
One axis, two axes...
...but why?
Pls! i need help!!!
