DIY Desk with Drawers Made From Junk - Part 1 | XDIY

My kids needed a Desk for their room (for homework, laptop...) My wife wanted very big drawers for storage... so a new project started.
The desk was made from pieces picked up from the garbage and some leftovers and scrap wood, drawer slides from our old kitchen etc.
I'm not sure about the style of the desk design I made. I think it has kind of farmhouse style or Country-Style Look.

Plywood - Table top, drawers cabinet box.
Pine wood - Legs, aprons (skirts), legs' stretchers, legs' corner brackets.
MDF - drawers fronts.
Wood filler.
Kreg Screws.
Primer & final paint.
Tools:
Sliding miter saw.
Circular saw.
Kreg Jig R3
Impact driver & Drill driver
Sander
Wood edge trimmer.
Clamps.

One step that is missing in the video - In order to make the table top paint super smooth, after painting I poured water over the top, and sanded using a 2000 Grit water Sandpaper.

amazing job! you made something great from nothing actually. These types of videos I like the most. BTW , it shows that with minimal tools and some reclaimed wood you can do beautiful things.

Many thanks! I wish I could make and publish a lot of woodworking projects like that... but sometimes I upload small fixes in other fields.

Just curious , what is the short offset of this circular saw? 3.5cm?

It's not near me so I cant measure, but I think it was 40mm.
If you need exact measurement I will check for you...

יצא מדהים, כל הכבוד!
יכול לפרט על שלב השיוף? איזה רמות חספוס? והאם שייפת בין שכבות של צבע?

בגלל שהשולחן בחלקו היה עם עצים מאוד מחוספסים אז כמו שרואים החלקתי עם שפכטל לעץ כדי להגיע לעץ יחסית חלק ללא גלים. ליטשתי עם גריט 120, עד 220. לא יותר... בין שכבות צבע ממש בעדינות.
במשטח העליון, אחרי צביעה של 3 שכבות שלא הצלחתי להגיע למרקם חלק כמו שרציתי, אז שפכתי קצת מים וליטשתי עם נייר מים 2000, וזה יצא ממש חלק. פעם ראשונה שעשיתי את זה והתוצאה יפה.
