- Step by step how to install a T800+ UpMap on your Aprilia RSV4. I chose Gabros map for this, as it has been proven to be the most efficient map for the RSV4.
The same proccess applies for the Tuono V4.

You have no idea how helpful this video was! I've liked and subscribed since you have an excellent way of explaining processes related to these bikes ('23 Tuono V4 Factory here)... Be safe sir!
Thank you I appreciate that! I’m glad it helped. ✌️
Thank you for your video. Talking about the freezing part. I was really panicking when it stuck at 41% for 15mins. Found your video and decided to close the app and off my bike. Restart the app again. Dada! Installation was completed. 😄
I’m glad it helped. It’s a common issue ✌️
Been wanting that exhaust for a minute, that raw sound is unmatched 🔥
I agree 💯 Its pure 🔥
I'm excited for the dyno results with the upmap and velocity stacks!
Me too! Im curious to see. Coming soon! ✌️
Very good video. I'll do this at some point on Tuono V4. Thanks.
Thank you! Im glad it helped ✌️
Great video, please let me know if this is the same process for 2020 RSV4 Factory. Thanks
Yes the process is identical ✌️
Dude I’m so excited for yo to have upgraded to the RSV4 dream bike. But for us who are still sticking with the RS660 are you still going to show content on bike upgrades. I had such high hopes when you detailed in one of your vids all the possible future upgrades you we’re going to do to your RS and was really looking to see how it would turn out and maybe give me inspiration to do them to mine.
What are your plans now concentrate on the RSV4 ?
I was planning to do on the RS660 forged or carbon wheels, Ohlins suspension, Brembo front rotors and some extras. That would be around $10,000 and to be honest I felt that it was an overkill. Not to mention that $10,000 could be used towards the RSV4 which I did. Considering that the RSV4 is $23,000 out the door plus another $10,000 on mods that I already bought, I just couldn’t see me spending another 10k on the RS660. Especially when I want to spent another 10k on Carbon Wheels, Ohlins and Brembo rotors on the RSV4. And every single dollar is paid by me in cash, with no sponsor. But I learned through the process of modding my RS660 so if I would do it all over again I would do it a bit differently by giving priority on certain mods over some others. Maybe I’ll do a review on the RS660 on what mods really matter and what mods are an overkill. Sure Im concentrating on the RSV4 right now but I will continue to make RS660 content. Thats why I recently did a how to setup the suspension on the 660. ✌️
Have you ever had an issue where the bike will start but shut off after about 1-3 seconds and not run after an Upmap install?
@@johnchattley9900 Never. There could be multiple reasons why that can happen, but if it happened right after the Upmap install it could be because the ECU firmware is not updated. Only the dealer can do that and should be done under warranty. ✌️
is this a necessary step when buying a shorty or is it just a nice to have
@@peterpeherstorfer9574 It is necessary for the engine to run properly and healthy. ✌️
Awesome video, qq what rear indicators do you have fitted?
Thank you! I have the NRC tail tidy that comes with the turn signals.
What's the difference from the t800 and the t800 plus?
@@tuill4ukid The T800+ has more memory space and faster transfer speeds than the T800. Both memory and speed are required to flash the ECU on some newer motorcycle models. The T800+ also has a carbon fiber look whereas the T800 has a plain look. Both connect with bluetooth to a smartphone but I believe the T800 and T800+ may have different socket connections through the ECU diagnostics port.
Thanks! Can you provide a link to the battery charger you used?

did u get the regular T800 or the EURO5 one?
The T800+
Nice dude thx 🎉. Can I use one uptune T800 device for 2 or more bikes like a RS 660 and an Ducati?
Unfortunately no. I was disappointed to learn that the Upmap device, links to the first bike you tune and it can only be used on that first bike. You would need one Upmap device for each bike.
@@ALFAVITAGA thanks for the answer. Oh that’s really not good 😌
How did you remove the green from the red & white stickers on the gas tank? Mine are under the clear coat
Mine are under the clear coat too. I heated the green sticker only and peeled it off slowly. The sticker was removed with the clear coat and just left an outline of the under sticker clear coat. Nothing major.
Do you have 2 upmap for 2 bikes, right?
@@elhombre2532 Correct. Two Upmap devices. One for each bike. But it shares the same app under the same account.
After a few months of ownership have you had any issues with the bike?
So far nothing other than some minor issues that were quickly resolved under warranty that I mention on other videos. First one was the injector connectors were swapped from factory and it was cutting power at 7k rpm. Swapped them in the correct position and problem was resolved. It’s a common issue ironically, and even Gabro has mentioned it on forums. Second was warped front wheel and brake rotors. All replaced under warranty. I think the wheel was just bad luck. Maybe it warped during transfer. But as long as it’s not an engine issue, I’m happy. So far so good ✌️
Everytime I get to the configuration part, it says my UpMap is unavailable. Any idea?
@@joshuasampson530 Could be a few things. 1) Do you have the Upmap T800 or the T800+? You need the +. 2) Your ECU firmware might not be updated. You need your dealer to do that if it’s not. 3) Your Upmap firmware might not be updated. 4) Make sure bluetooth is turned on on your phone and Upmap is connected properly and powered. 5) Make sure you have good connection to Wifi or cellular data. 6) I doubt its this, but make sure you bought the Upmap brand new and not used that was linked to a previous bike.
@@ALFAVITAGA turns out it was still in the original owners name so I had to call UpMap and get everything switched over. Thanks for your help!
@@joshuasampson530 Ah makes sense ✌️
Im curious why you would need to dyno test your bike if you flashed it...? Isnt the flash enough...?
You don’t need to dyno the bike after the flash. The only reason I dyno my bikes is for the channel.
Can you feel the difference…improvement
@@bobocopyu92 There is a slight difference in acceleration yes. But not enough to “feel” it.
This video helped a lot thanks
I’m glad it did! ✌️
Can you post the link for the upmap? The only website I found it on doesn't ship to the US 😢 Thank you ahead of time!
CBC Motorsports has it in stock and on sale. I would also consider the stage 3 kit as it makes financial sense as a combo. cbcmoto.com/shop/ols/products/upmap-t800-for-2009-2020-aprilia-tuono-slash-rsv4-all-variants-with-race-map-and-gabro-map
@ALFAVITAGA awesome thank you so much! Been following your content for awhile and has been a huge help, especially when deciding what to spend my hard earned cash on! Thanks again for everything man, keep up the great content!
@@MrSchwifty33 Im glad I am a good financial influence lol. Thank you my friend I appreciate that! ✌️
AF1 racing sells the T800 Upmap along with the voucher for the gabro map
From I can get the cod to have a free map ?
When you purchase the Upmap device, it comes with one coupon code for a free map.
If you changed the exhaust and did the servo delete with Healtech, (but without upmap) would you still get a check engine light?
If you change the exhaust, remove the servo and plug the Healtech bypass without upmap, you will not get a check engine light.
@@ALFAVITAGA do you know whether or not the UpMap can clear the maintenance light?
@@MrSoHansum Unfortunately it cannot.
