Didnt have the dyno comparison which would be useful. RSV4 have plenty of grunt so it would be useful to know about power delivery post UpMap
Something I really wanted to do but I have no Dyno nearby. Good thing about the UpMap is that you can always reflash the bike to the original map
@@alvrsv4-vrod86 the difference is the dyno you need always to fix the air/gas mix so you need to put on “table” for roll up and get the results, with UPMAP you don’t need because is done already from the guy who’s already did this to get the map done, also on Upmap there’s all kind of map ready to download for any upgrade you have done , plus if something happens to your bike, and the dealer need your bike, you can download for free your factory stock map, otherwise on dyno it’s a pain in the uss to get back….

I’m confused here so is this the gabro tune you uploaded ? I’m ordering this and it says it comes with 3 maps so not sure which one to use

You can disconnect the device once you are done.
Hey man, great video, do you think it was worth it? I have a CR-T and after the exhaust the bike is kinda crazy, it shuts the engine off out of the suddenly because i thinks is lacking fuel on the mix, the quickshifter got stiffer, more “punch” when you change gears, it chokes if i rev it in neutral super quick, I’m putting the upmap as an option instead of the remap on the stock ecu, because I don’t want to lose warranty
The good thing about the UpMap is that you can always change it to stock if you need to take it to the dealership. The bike will run way better after you do the flash.
I have the same issue but with a Race Ecu. Did you ever figure out what the problem was ??
But the dealer can tell how many times it's been flashed, thus warranty void if you ever need anything as Aprilia HQ will deny claims@@alvrsv4-vrod86

Hi, thanks for youre tutorial on the upmap. Have the same bike and planing also doin the upmap. Do i have to instal the exhaust first and then doin the upmap? Asking because the upmap saves the oem map first bevore tuning it. And for that, isnt it useful to keep the servo with the cables conected?

There is a map where you don't need to change the exhaust. The one I downloaded from Gabro's site is the one for bikes with aftermarket exhausts.
You can keep the servo with the tune. Don't need to remove it.
Hi, i have now installed an Arrow slip on on my RSV4. Do'in the upmap as soon as i get it from italy. For Service i bring it to my dealer and because of warrenty i will re install the stock exhaust. Please can you tell me if the t800 saving the stock map automaticly and where in the app can i find that stock map?

Once connected you can open the app and it will be the icon at the bottom of the screen.

There should be a version for your bike with specific maps in the Upmap website

Hey bro I'm looking at getting a 17 RSV4RR but was worried about there not being a dealer nearby Incase my ECU ever popped a simple code that needed to be reset but the dealership would have to reset it. Can I just reset codes from the ECU with Gabro. UpMap?
Guzzidiag for RSV4 will be a good option. There's a lot of info on apriliaforum.com

Hello i want to Know why you have to had this for the rsv4 ?
With an after market exhaust is recommended to have it tuned. My bike had some kind of sound like it wanted to shut off while idle. The new map fixed the issue and it feels more powerful in the mid range RPMs

Will those maps work on the 2022 model? Also, on the website it saids that it turns off the tail light functionality. Is this true?
They work on the 2022 model. It won't turn off the tail light. What it does, it doesn't throw any codes if you unplug the tail light.

Hello, does it mean that the REAC ECU has been replaced after the refresh?
The ECU is still the same. There is just a new mapping for the Bike's ECU
Race ECU is just a std ECU flashed with same race-map file supplied free with upmap.
where did you get the driven keyless gas cap?
In Revzilla.com. I am using the one for the 2020 models.
did the tuner come with the programming cable?
Mine did. I ordered the one with the Euro5 connector.

Don't worry about that. I've used it in multiple bikes and I haven't had any issues with the app. Good luck!
