Thank God my local radio station played Heat Treatment when it first came out. He is such an underrated talent. I've seen him live with a band, and also solo, and he never has disappointed. (Though I wish he would tour again with a band!) Squeezing out Sparks is one of the greatest albums of all time.
This song has stayed through many years. Time built of ecstasy and glued by tears. Glad it found the light of day for its plea of hope never faded away
I’ve just listened to this version shortly after the original 1976 release and I have to give the guy his due - he sounds just as good now (if not a tad better) than he’s ever done! Well done Graham for being so consistent and letting your professionalism shine through. Bloody brilliant!
Ich ebenfalls, SWF 3 an, TV Stumm ;-) Volume der 30 Wattanlage hoch. Der Gig von G.P. & the R war geilstens. Hab' mir danach direkt 3 LPs von dem gekauft. Zeitloser RocknRoll vom Briten. Die galten damals bei vielen als beste live Band in der entsprechenden Clubszene, klingt auch nach all den Jahren noch frisch und frech :-))
Why this man is so underrated? He’s authentic, pure and a great musician
I am an original 1977 punk rocker! That was when I discovered this great man! dx
One of the KINGS

I agree...except it is not a plea for hope but a song of helpless despair.

The beginning of fast reggae!
Rythm guitarist deserves a medal
Brinsley Schwartz. Martin Belmont on lead. They were both phenomenally talented and swapped roles effortlessly.
Great!
