Darren this is a much different video than normal, you being at home, what a loverly change, this sort of thing is what your channel needs, and at the comfort of your own home, fantastic, love it.
If some folk just want to see the food & still hear you, then they can zoom it up just to see the food 👌...but I think the majority of us are happy seeing your reaction to the food!
Yes Dazzler my main man - that Ruby looked absolutely stunning.and to top it all off I love that you've got your lottery ticket on the table. Hope you won the jackpot mate.
Thank you for not turning the mix up over dining in into a clickbait title like some people would of done 👍 curry looked amazing but I had to turn the sound down and skip through a bit because the microphones picked up a lot of eating/crunching sounds and I'm weird about sounds like that (which I realise is unfortunate for someone who enjoys watching food reviews), really liking the new channel, thank you 💯
I like seeing your facility expressions because they show whether you’re enjoying your food or not. When you smile I’m sure I’m not the only one who smiles with you. Ignore those who are saying different. The amount of chicken was huge and although I can’t eat anything too spicy it looks bloody lovely. Love your intro by the way!
Looks great Darren love a Balti. It's also important for us to see your facial expressions during your eating experience so try and fit it in if you can as it adds to the whole food tasting environment. Otherwise, it could be anyone eating, and we know how much you value and appreciate your culinary delights! Keep up the brilliant work.
Looks excellent, well worth the money, only thing missing the atmosphere of eating in a restaurant but sometimes better at home TV and relaxed , who can beat it, we miss you taking us a tour around London, and seeing you and Luke together, but we can't have it all. Take care and keep well. Sheila & Patrick.
Hello Darren, just to say we love your channels, been watching for a long time now. Yes we do want to see your face, you are the channels, not only the food and where you go. All the best Darren. Dont forget we do want to see your face.Pat and Andy Norfolk.
Imho, your best food vlog so far, Darren!! That grub looked amazing! Wish we had smellyvision. We got caught out at a local Chinese, that only did takeaway, when we had been assured they had tables, so got our glad rags on and felt like right muppets!!! Like your good self, we schlepped back home and thoroughly enjoyed it anyways!
The Bhaji in Isle of Dogs is my favourite Indian by far. Try out Dhalchi in E16, their other branch. Has seating available inside. Would love to see a video there 👍
Love a good Ruby and that certainly looks good. Spoilt for choice as Tooting Broadway is close by and the choice of Indian/Bangladeshi and Pakistani is endless.
Yummy. I love my Indian food . , your Saturday nights sound like mine lol, meal for one , torviscos spice soon though , want to see you and the food I like to read the face and see the enjoyment , your doing great , look forward to the next one x
A stunning looking Indian meal there buddy. My favourite type of cuisine. Can't believe the amount of chicken in that balti. Lucky to get anywhere near that here in Brum and we're the curry capital of Britain lol👌👌
Miles better videos in our opinion when we can say you and the food..guess the channel is about your reviews and seeing your reaction whilst eating is why we watch 😊
Looks amazing and don't change, your vlogs are brilliant as they are you may say you have to tweak here and there but please stay true to your original concept, your one of a few honest streamers that provide true entertainment.
Definately have you in the frame, got to see your reactions. You do a great job with the filming, you don't need anyone else. I'm watching this at 6.30 am and I could definately eat the delicious looking balti!
Bloody hell. That looked BANGING. Those thin onion bahjees looked great. Nice n crispy. Great review there. I actually think it's better seeing you eating. It's more natural. Better than these reviewers with camera men. Nineteen quid in London for that Feast wow. Nice one DJ. Keep up the format and the content is spot on mate
That looks delicious Darren, you do you your channel your style I don’t mind whether I see your face and the food it doesn’t bother me. It’s just nice to see someone give their honest opinion and when the food is off the charts your face says it all
Love a good Indian and that looked a veritable feast 👍 Love the food close ups but we do need you and your reaction to get the full picture , no pun intended. As for travelling to your favourite takeaway ours is 40 miles away but it's an end of the month treat so enjoy the trip 😁
Looked a bit below average to me, the best Indians do their meat in the tandoor oven, and its perfectly cut. That chicken looked a bit manky to me. Best Indian I had was in the 99% indian / bangladeshi parts of London. That looks a little bit too central to have the best Indians
DJ, This is so much Better and a more Personal feeling, with You my Friend eating this Delicious Indian Take Away. You are at Home in your place of comfort and just relaxing at your Leisure. There is nothing wrong having a Good Substantial Feast of Indian cuisine. I just really have Loved and admired Greatly your Brand new Channel DJ. You do Not need to Appologise or Explain yourself about how you position and Film yourself. This was Off the Charts.
Good morning, Darren. Well done on this new video. I love Indian food and my ex was Indian. I used to have it every day ( and the food..!) But i put on a lot of weight... You cant beat a tasty Indian for a real treat and general feelgood pick- me-up. What i liked about this particular video , Darren, was that it seemed 'fresh' and it was certainly very unexpected on my part. It was completely different to your other videos. This video had an honesty and a cosy intimacy to it and , for me that gave it an authenticity which was very appealing and interesting. It was like being invited over to a cosy date night at home with you ( and i say this as a very straight man ...). It was very honest, enjoyable entertainment. Can we say 'entertainnent'?? I think sonetimes we get too preoccupied with only the food. But Is it " all about the the food"? Well, yes, but its not JUST about the food, is it? What do you think?? I mean, as humans we want and need to be entertained. Darren i am aware that you personally already have a background in the entertainment industry and i think that has honed your natural ability to 'entertain' a/.That has held you in good stead and helped hone your natural ability to command the interest and attention of others . If a vlogger just makes valid comments on the food , is that really enough?? Really? What do you think? - I dont think so... I think 'personality'is a massive part of what makes good entertainment. You have your own personality and i think that is why so many viewers follow your channel. You can see this particularly when you express your personality through your food tasting. You have this look where, on first bite, you look into the middle distance.... No, im going to come out and say it, you have got a natural on-screen charisma, Darren. Dont change for anyone, Darren. Be yourself,.After all, what else can you be? Don't listen to those who complain about you filming yourself eating the food you are sampling. I bet you, if you were to look at the new viewer figures, they were increasing much more rapidly when it was you being at ease , just being yourself , showing us you filming your reactions when you were sampling the food. Anyway, well done, Darren.
What is it like ploughing an Indian lass, I heard they have a certain pungent odour to them. But must have been a fun experience at least at the beginning. Never been a fan of Indian "sweets", they must have the worst taste in deserts in the world...I like the Phaal and the Vindaloo type curries, you have to be a real man to get through one of those.
Well, can't get a better review ( apart from yours) from that fella Jason, who still travels all that way to get his food! Says it all! Looks really nice & good to see you eating at home. I love the fact, that I'm hearing you tell us of a station/ place, that I, and I'm sure many others have never heard of & I'm a Londoner. Thanks Darren, loving the videos. Lizzie 👌🤗🥰
So Daren with your job you will know which restaurants to go to and which to avoid ,but I am surprised that your hours are cut I would think more of you would be needed.Lovely to see you enjoying your grub.!!
Hi Darren. You are a proud Londoner and I am a proud Brummie (the place where the Balti was conceived). That undoubtedly was a superb curry but it was not a Balti. A Balti is served to you in the receptacle in which it was cooked, and is sizzling when it reaches the table. You cannot have a takeaway Balti. The food looked great however.
Some of us do like to see you eating and enjoying your food, I do. I have just cooked myself Fettuccini Alfredo and it was lovely but looking at your sag aloo, chicken balti and onion bhaji my mouth is watering. 😋❤
Another great video from Darren, guys get used to clicking the like soon as you click on the video.... you know it will be great content. Great looking food and a good backdrop through the window :)
Oh my god making me so hungry and me on a diet oh well glad you enjoyed it dj you know where the best food restaurants and takeaways are majella Ireland
Great to see you at home enjoying what looked a brilliant Indian takeaway. I enjoy seeing the food and the look of enjoyment on your face don't change the format. Brilliant vlog. Thanks.
Really enjoyed the vlog DJ, keep them coming and also better when we see you eating because we can see your facial expressions which helps us know that you are enjoying the food
That looked delicious DJ - to find something like that for under £20 in London is decent! Saag Aloo or Tarka Dal are my side dishes of choice generallt, and that Saag Aloo looked perfect. I was up in Whitechapel for a couple of days last week and the one thing I didn't get which I should have was a curry (walked up Brick Lane, but it was morning time, and your pals at City Spice weren't open yet!) - next time...
Really enjoying your channel Darren, you pick all the good food places. Other you tubers are hit and miss. I keep a list of your places and intend to try them 👍
I knew The Mudchute when it was mud, mounds of mud. When I was a kid, before BMX , we just had bikes. And during the school holidays it was fantastic. I’m talking late 60’s DJ.
I like to see your expression when you are eating good quality food as your face says it all. You certainly got a plate full of food with this takeaway. Glad you enjoyed it. I just kept thinking EAT IT DJ as it will be stone cold
Nice change there - a takeaway and your home - looked really good there DJ. At £19 im twitching a bit for a takeaway and would want something left for the next day but perhaps thats just me!! Thanks
Thank you for your kind review Darren. We appreciate your honest feedback. Hope to see you soon again. Many thanks The Bhaji Team 6 Chapel House St, E14 3AS
Quick question I'm asking here because I know you're working hard at getting this channel of the ground, would you consider on your other channel taking us round some of the blue plaque places and some of the iconic infamous buildings hotels etc. As for this channel Im not in a position to travel to London but would you ever consider going further afield reviewing food or travel vlogging eg Brighton.
This video was great, please do more takeaway home reviews! kind of enjoyed this more than the 'in restaurant' ones. Also better with just the natural background sounds of dishing up rather than constant music, and how it would look for real. much more real and natural. All the best mate.
HI Darren Thank you for another great video you certainly got a great selection of food. Yes Darren I like the set up as you are doing now of course I like when you are showing the food but also like your comments when you are eating this so did you manage to eat all of that.
DJ ..that looked delicious but would have been far too much for me at one sitting..probably would have fed me for a few days..pleased it was 'off the charts'..😂
Balti looked mice mate. Sag aloo is one of my go to sides along with aloo gobi and brinjal bahji. Did you order originally online, hence why you didn't know there was no seating? My only grip would be the lack of tomatoes et all in with the salad. Was that yelloy sauce some form of mint sauce?

Brilliant channel
Keep filming your face Darren your expressions tell the story as much as your words !! We love it ! Top vid btw ! 👍🇦🇺
So matey i like to see the food your face and you eating the food. Its all good. I think you are a genuinely good geezer. Forget the haters you rock.
If some folk just want to see the food & still hear you, then they can zoom it up just to see the food 👌...but I think the majority of us are happy seeing your reaction to the food!
We want to see you! Class act! TV cooking/food critic program? Better than most shows.
👍🏼🙂🙏🏼
Definitely a review at home or making food at home video more
Yes Dazzler my main man - that Ruby looked absolutely stunning.and to top it all off I love that you've got your lottery ticket on the table. Hope you won the jackpot mate.

I like to see u and the food! I like the first bite face 😊
OTC for sure! I like the setting - eating at home, for a change. No loud music or fear of being demonetized!
Imho, your best food vlog so far, Darren!! That grub looked amazing! Wish we had smellyvision. ps did ye eat it all? that looked massive
Definately have you in the frame, got to see your reactions. You do a great job with the filming, you don't need anyone else. I'm watching this at 6.30 am and I could definately eat the delicious looking balti!
And to answer your question it's good to see both the food and you. Camera angle was perfect and could see the food good
Nice flat Darren ! The view is fenomenal😀! What a indian ! Going to try tomorrow ☝️

Great video, love a ruby looked excellent. Keep them coming DJ ❤
Looks fantastic
That’s a lot of food for £19, especially when it’s of such a high standard. It looks an outstanding takeaway.
I knew The Mudchute when it was mud, mounds of mud. When I was a kid, before BMX , we just had bikes. And during the school holidays it was fantastic. I’m talking late 60’s DJ.

Loved this! Sorted my mukbang right out!
HI Darren Thank you for another great video you certainly got a great selection of food.
Yes Darren I like the set up as you are doing now of course I like when you are showing the food but also like your comments when you are eating this so did you manage to eat all of that.
Looked really nice and very generous portion too - enjoyed the vid DJ
DJ ..that looked delicious but would have been far too much for me at one sitting..probably would have fed me for a few days..pleased it was 'off the charts'..😂
Oooo thats great news ill be trying that. I usually do muhab brick lane, but this sounds great too :)
Hi Darren , love your videos xx ( Don’t change the filming of them ) I’m so surprised how people can be so critical ? ..
Nice curry, nice video
Wow. Simply delightful. 9/10.
hi in southall (old southall), they go to restaurant was meant to be the *BRILLIANT*
Definitely worth the travelling Darren, looks excellent
Wow! That is a perfect meal Darren. And in the comfort of your own home as well. Ideal! 🥰☀️🥰xxx
It really is!
It makes a refreshing change to see a UA-camr get something different when ordering a curry well done Darren, two of the other UA-camrs that order curry’s order tikka masalas or kormas which is embarrassing really. Nice to see something different. 👍.
Wow! dJ, that looked awesome another great vlog.oh by the way ,we need to 👀 both yourself and the food in the vlogs .I'll take that 👍 😊
When you need a Indian curry and find a good one it really is solid comfort food and in your own house what more do you ask for 😊
That looks delicious 😋 Thanks DJ 🍛🍴
