That certainly does look “off the charts.” I thought the first lot of food was your whole meal and was surprised there was no rice. When the next lot came out I couldn’t believe it and lamb too, my absolute favourite!
Enjoyable video Darren, been here twice before! Was only shown on Homes Under the Hammer a month ago when someone bought a house on auction in this part of London! When they showed the street it was in..... You also forgot to say about the 12% service charge they also add on.
What a delicious looking spread. I can see why you wanted to meet the man behind the magic when food is that good. I'm sure his day was made knowing you thoroughly enjoyed it. 💙😁👍🏼
I would be quite happy to eat Indian food every day for the rest of my life, but I would most likely shorten my life as I have an appetite like you! Looked superb, Darren.
Fantastic Darren.. how great to meet the chef as well.. very Modest chef, meal looked delicious. Well done on your 10k subs DJ.. you deserve it, your channels great mate. Keep em coming 👍🏻
That looked fab DJ! Lovely you got to meet the chef and he was a very humble bloke. Jalfrezi is my go to and your's looked the business. You had a nice touch with getting the extras. Well done mate!
I enjoy videos where you can tell the people are really enjoying and loving the food. I could definitely tell you enjoyed this deliciousness. That was a LOT of food, too. :)
Great video 👍 Amazing restaurant that clearly has high standards. The food presentation was superd. As you stated, Im assuming it tasted how it looked, fabulous!
Love Indian food. The great thing about living in London is that you spoilt for choice for some great places and types of food.Living not far from Tooting there are some great Indian restaurants between Tooting Broadway and Tooting Beck.
Another top drawer eatery there. The food looked amazing . Nice to see the chef and the other staff who all make the eating experience happen. Very kind of them to let you try other dishes, I am sure they knew you would appreciate and enjoy them.
That meal looked absolutely amazing I could almost taste it myself. That is a chef who knows how to cook. The face said it all Darren food that makes you smile. Colin
Looked bloody lovely. I agree trying new/different things is definitely the way to go, then you find new favourites. Lamb naga is my found favourite. ❤ as always dj
That looked amazing Darren, some fantastic dishes there , if I go for an Indian meal and it’s really nice I always over eat I just can’t leave anything the flavours are so nice
DJ...you really do find GEMS to review.....I am hearing you say "the Flavour" I can only imagine....what do you do with the left over food do they give containers to take... Wicked review Brother ✌🤜🏽
I am familiar with the old street area you were in. It has changed a lot since I was last there in London. I would love to visit this restaurant when I could come next. I will invite you and would be my treat.
That looks delicious. I am looking forward to your Thailand adventure. I live in Northern Thailand not that far from the Mekong River. So I am hoping your going to get out of the smoke into the real Thailand and taste the food. I love Indian food and tomorrow i am cooking our family a chicken byriani. Great channel you have. I was originally from London.
Only 1 reason anyone goes to Thailand and it is not for the food 😂 In DJ case if Thailand is not located in East London you won't be seeing him anytime soon .
Most Indian themed restaurants rarely get seekh kebabs right and we had that here too as it was way too thick. Thin and slender is the way to go as it cooks differently. You get more of that charred taste going right through the meat if it's pressed onto the skewer thinly. You also get a better balance of flavour and mouthfeel. It's these details that make all the difference. Good review as always DJ 👍🏽
Darren that looked amazing Mate, we went to Spice village in Torviscas the other nite, and we went there because we seen your vlogs on it. Wow that is some place 👌 loved it, top notch food people and service. Cheers Mate 🍻🍻
Looks good Darren as does the food, shame it's too far away for me, i hope your doing ok bud and in good health, oh and one last thing ONION BARNI Ave It !
Nice elegant looking restaurant, tables could have been spaced out a bit more. I'm old enough to remember "Barney Rubble" 😂For me, the samosa didn't have the crunch 😢The rest were a fine spread. I'm not sure how you ate your meal with such a wide smile on your face 😊When you met the chef, the double take, made me blink😉The chef was a very well spoken man who new his craft. And was rightly proud of himself. A true creative artist. Darren, your honesty is a becon. Telling us of the extra things you were given. Brilliant. Allan&Family
Look at the menu, Jalfrezy or Jalfrezi? 😂 The food looked great, That starter platter alone would have stuffed me Darren! I can't believe you ate all that! I would have to be winched out by a crane after eating that lot! Good effort! 🤣BTW jalfrezi is my favourite Indian dish with a Dhansak, Biriyani or Bhuna a close 2nd! 👌It's great to find an Indian restaurant like this that you can go out out to (LoL) again and again and get a decent curry rather than trying out new places and getting a naff curry for your hard earned 👍
Anothrt fantastic restaurant you found there Darren the quality looked great that lamb looked so delicious if the lamb is good you know your on a winner cheers for that Darren top man keep them coming PS . Give Liam a shout on golf mates love to see you play on there channel Darren. I will drop him a line to invite you as well ❤
Looked a good one Darren, and a beautiful restaurant. Please try Baingan Bharta, and Dal Makhani, two wonderful dishes I never see anyone trying in the UK.
My God, that really looked a treat, Darren. That lamb , you could see just how tender it was when you held it up closer to the camera. Fresh spices and fresh ingredients meticulously prepared but all done with an added unique take. Whats not to like? That whole selection just looked so good. Melt-in-your-mouth goodness. I will take that. This meal was clearly off the charts Darren. A lovely find. You have great personal video editing skills, Darren. I thought your personal selection of Asian music was pleasantly soothing and congenial All in all, another very good video. Thank you,. .
Google Streetview. A banner showing, "20% off during their Grand Opening in July 2022". Known as Thai City in Dec 2021. Not a lotta people know people that. Michael Caine. And no vegetarian main dishes. Lots of sides though, including Onioned-BARNEY! What camera(s) do you use? You said you used a 360' when it was empty. A 360' when walking too? I'm looking to buy a 360' camera and your works. And something steady you use to film you eating? You seem to adjust the pan/tilt and zoom with ease whilst talking. Fascinating to follow you.
I would have asked for a "doggie bag" and taken that home ! Pretty sure you didnt eat it all , but it looked amazing . I don,t go to London often but when i retire ,with my free travel ,i may well just do that . Well ,if you can come to Carshalton ,i,m sure i can do the same .
Hi Darren, Bengal Tiger looks so very, very Nice. 🎉 Such Beautiful dishes, the Lamb Pasanda and Jalfrezi, set in the bronze and gold dishes, stunning. And to wash it down with a Tiger Indian Beer. 😍 Its funny at the beginning of your video, you saying, I've Heard about this place, have you heard. Very Funny. You are a Lovely and Funny Guy. 😍🎉🎉
Love this new channel Darren. You look happy, you sound happy, the vlogs are great. How i imagine you at your happiest. Your look healthy and happy and great. xxxxx
So DJ what was the cost of the dishes that you didnt get free ? 😂 Lol methinks it was all free as a pre arranged promotion ? No problem for that as thats how it rolls and with that of course comes a completely great review ....which again it could well have been that good. But i guess to know for sure you can only judge by visting the place oneself.. ..looked good as in generic british formed ( bengali food ). But its nowhere near actual Indian / regional / bengali or other . But thats just picking holes...i will give the place a go when im back for a visit in the Uk in June. Nice one.
Great presentation Darren of some truely amazing Indian cuisine. That lamb posada looked out of this world. We love Indian food and will definitely be trying the Bengali Tiger. We've yet to do city spice and Para, but this summer we're there. Long way to come from mid Wales but well worth it, we have not been disappointed with your recommendations so far, so thanks once again for your honest reviews 👍
Wow that looked amazing, nice touch to meet the chef and give feed back, I'm sure they appreciate the fact someone loves what they produce. We'll done Darren
