As always nothing but the finest presentation and informative knowledge shared, thank you Sandro! I’ve been using Shine Supply products for about 2 years now and have to say overall I’m quite pleased. Shine Supply was developed by a detailer for detailers, Jeremy is a stand up guy and speaks from the heart. Be well mate 👍🏼
Love that you did Shine Supply!! Jeremy Stevens of Shine Supply and Stevens Detail is a great guy and really takes pride in these products! Im glad you got them out in Australia from California 😁
Sandro, Lite is working perfect for my car already 8 months after my non-professional car preparation, so it should work for your Honda almost forever after your crazy detailed preparation. I mean Sandro, you are doing fantastic job. And I am thankful for your videos as you turned me to CarPro and teach me how to work with my car. Another thing is your work with videos - I love them! And I have never thought what the strange music or no-no, this song is not for this part - I don't how you are deciding which song/music to add and when, but you are doing this simply amasing! Cheers from Sweden.
I have to say I’m very Happy that you finally took my advice and try it out shine supply products. They are absolutely fantastic my main go to is usually all CarPro products but I find with their ride and shine just has a little bit more durability then Hydrolite 2. Plus when you use ride and shine it literally looks like you just ceramic coated your car. I remember telling you for months to get these products Jeremy from California make some pretty awesome stuff. You should really try their glass cleaner and they’re all purpose cleaner solution diluted one to one. They now have become my go to products at all times.
Another excellent video Sandro.. winter over here in Chicago and watchin your videos is an uplifting experience and therapeutic for me.. Thanks Brother..!
I've used shine supply products in my shop for a while now and I have to say I'm really impressed, their tire cleaner can not be beat it's good shit lol!
I’d like to start off by saying that your method of detail cleaning cars is still my favorite to watch and mimic when I wash my own vehicles. My question is: why use towels to dry cars? After they’re protected with a hydrophobic coating, wouldn’t it be easier to blow dry them with some sort of filtered air blower? Or does it still not satisfy the level of dry you would like to achieve? Also, what about all the fine details of vehicles that like to hold and hide water? They eventually let it drip down onto your clean paint which is something that would seem to be fixed with a method of blow drying.
Wise guy is the bomb! I find 1:3 for me is the perfect point - I can't believe how well it works, better than any APC or wheel cleaner I've used before!
Excellent video, not a lot of real information on UA-cam about Shine supply but you've covered a good part of their range. I've tried their clay lube and their classic polish compound and found them to work beautifully , I'll definitely be buying more Shine supply products in the future. Thank you for taking the time to show the products and explain them it's much appreciated.
I use throttle on my ceramic coated car for the same reasons you mentioned. I don’t want any wax or polymers added to my coating. I stay in the family as far as maintenance goes using TAC Systems quartz max but use throttle for quick detailer.
What a sweet, old school Honda Civic. Great to them preserved. Funny how our old School HQ's get far more looks and comments than these new age shopping trolley SUV's. Bet your car is much more fun to drive like mine are too. Getting good with the camera work too with that intro. You could work for Peter Jackson if he makes Lord of the Hondas!!!!!!!! LOL. Yeah the market is now getting overcrowded with some very good products. I still like the ones you have used previously and I have got great results from those such as CarPro products including Clearcut, The Last Cut, Scholls S20,LC HDO pads, Shinemate polisher, Concours/NV products including Finesse, all thanks to you and your videos. Learnt so much from you and a few other good detailers I follow. Who would have thought polishing a car could be so adventurest. The Last Cut I have found to be so versatile out of all polishes I have used. Bloody cuts yet finish down using Microfiber. The Astra is shining now. The sacrifice you make working weekends just for our viewing pleasure. Well done.
I love shine supply products. I was introduced to them a couple yrs ago by my detailer and have used them mostly for maintaining my ceramic coating. Shift soap is one of the slickest soaps out there and it foams great! Throttle detail spray is also a great and doesnt streak. Clutch in my opinion is better than Car Pros Reload. I mostly use throttle with a ounce of clutch added after my weekly maintenance wash. Jeremy is doing great things with his products!
I’m glad yours is lasting as the car I coated with two coats of this has now failed on 50% on the flatter panels. So disappointed with this coating as I had great success with CQUK 2.0’lasting over 3 years on a previous car.
Thanks for the update on Carpro Lite Sandro. It definitely looks like a coating that is overachieving. Good to know mate! The Shine products you showcased look great. I would love to try the wheel and tire cleaners. 👍🏾
Car Craft Auto Detailing...I have a question...Which pad would give the better cut on my BMW--A) Rupes yellow wool pad(medium cut) or B) Buff and Shine Uro microfiber Pad 50/50 blend? Thanks!
Interesting that you said this line was great smelling. That's one thing about the Poorboy's World line that I like: great scents! Thanks for the video and your thoughts on this brand. And got to say, that is one beautiful little Honda
Hey! Thanks for all your videos, absolutely addicted to your channel. I was wondering if you can give an update on the longevity of this coating? Did you replace it, or top it with something else after a while? How long did it last without signs of deterioration? Thanks!
I haven’t removed the coating but I’ve tested a bunch on products over the coating since, so it’s hard to judge just how long it lasted on its own. All I say is that 12mths seems very realistic as an average duration but on something like a garaged weekender I’d expect it to last twice as long.
He's spot on bro. A properly maintained daily driver, you can get 12 months no problem. A daily driver not being maintained and taken through touchless or brushed cat washes and I've seen it fail in 6 months. I can't speak on garage kept vehicles because I have only applied longer lasting coatings on those. My personal opinion is the prep work for me is the same for any legit coating. Decon, clay bar, compound / Polish. So I would apply a longer lasting coating from the start if you're going to maintain it. No reason to go through all that work and then have to reapply it every year when there are coatings you can get much longer out of. I have a customer who gets his car polished every year no matter what. In his case Cquartz lite makes sense since it's being removed regardless. For anyone else, start with a longer term coating. The prep work part sucks lol.
@@invadertopak, You don't absolutely have to but it's a really good idea so the new coating bonds the best way possible. Definitely not compound everytime but at least a light finishing polish or one step
Sandro your video production is top-notch, getting better and better every time! I am starting off as a mobile detailer on the other side of the country and all my favourite products are based on your recommendations in your videos. Mainly a mix of NV and Carpro, keen to test out Wiseguy as a tyre cleaner, I usually use Multi-X diluted 1:5 and works ok on super dirty 4wd tyres, but I am not sure if Wiseguy would prove to be more economical at a 1:2 dilution ratio. Although Wiseguy comes out cheaper per litre at their 3.78L offering than Multi-X at 500ml only offering from Waxit. looking forward to your next video!
Great video Sandro! I would love trying Decked out but leaving a tire dressing on for an hour and a half is not realistic when u have to turn in a car to a customer unfortunately... Unless it gets done before an interior job or something
Hi Sandro, what are the triggers your using in the shine supply wise guy/cool guy bottles? Also love the effort you put in to your work and video production, just awesome.
Nice update to Cquartz Lite. It has been doing well for me at 6 months on my daily driver. Also nice that you got to try some shine supply products. Shift is good and also eco friendly to the planet. I agree with you on Throttle. I spoke with Jeremy at Shine Supply and Throttle does not leave anything at all on the surface besides gloss. I have not noticed a change in hydrophobic behavior on any coating. It is funny you mention it as a drying aid, that is one characteristic that I don't like about it. It gets streaky and hard to work with. It could be different with the recent updated formula that was released a couple months ago. Your Honda looks great. Is that the original paint?
CQuartz lite is an excellent "light" coating !. For a vehicle that sleeps in the garage, never goes out in rain, washing with ph-neutral shampoo, maintenance with quik detailer infused with Sio2, I think it can last for 1 and a half or 2 years!?. What do you think? (we get along well, with adequate preparation "chemical decontamination, mechanical decontamination, compound, polish, ipa ... maintenance ...), carpro speaks of 6 months +, for the most extreme cases I think.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing wow that's awesome! Sadly mines the only 5door on the road in Tas now. Just don't sell the one you have now its in every good shape
Hi Sandro, can wise guy be used to clean tires on wheels that are ceramic coated? Will the residual dripping from the tires to the wheels damage the coating? Thanks.
I tend to use it at more heavily diluted for maintenance tyre cleaning on my own coated wheels (1:4 or so) and as long as you firstly rinse the area so the rim is wet and obviously cool and out of direct sunlight it’s not degrees the coating and it also very economical as a maintenance tyre cleaner.
I would like to try this but I really don't care enough to spend $80 on it, if it does last me 9 months that simply means by the time it needs to be redone the 80%-90% left in the bottle would be dang near expired. If they released a smaller bottle 1/8th the size for 1/3 of the price I would try it but realistically if I'm going to spend $80 I might as well just get the normal version.
Sandro what would you say is the return on investment in regards to applying more than 1 coat of UK 3.0 on paint? Is the second coat going to bond to the first coat as well as the first coat bonds to the paint? What are your thoughts on applying 3.0 to the windshield and or side windows? Not sure if you have experience with FORTE which is carpro's designated windshield coating and whether this truly is a step ahead in terms of glass applications. I feel like you have answered these questions in videos but can't recall your exact recommendations. Thanks in advance and keep the videos coming! Top notch quality as always!
I really love your car mate , can’t beat the old retro look 👍🏻😁. Now I think you should apply some nv evo once cq lite has all but diminished as give the car some extra gloss to really make it stand out 😊😁
I have tried a Tac Gyeon and Carpro lite version of their coatings, durability in the UK on winter roads is nowhere near the companies claims, 12 weeks is about the norm. That's ok for me as I like to take care of my cars. I enjoyed the video thanks.
There’s no set of rules you have to follow, but generally you’d want to use a quick detailer that doesn’t so much mask or inhibit the coating from performing as good as it should, but rather match its hydrophobic nature or let it still shine through. I’m not super experienced with Adam’s products but if they have a ceramic or SiO2 based quick detailer that may be a good option, and yes you can also use Reload every couple of months or so.
Love your videos Sandro always a thumbs up. Quick question, if someone wanting to get into detailing as a business wanted to learn about all the different chemicals used in detailing and the affects they have on different surfaces so as to conduct their work safely, where could I go do you think? Is there a course for something like that? Or is it learning as you go along from product to product.
Hi that product is definitely holding up 💪 strong. Question: before the cquartz lite starts to diminish can I just apply another coat without going through the entire removal process of the coating and prep process before I apply a fresh coating of the cquartz lite?
