i'm SUPER short with a lot of curves, i've come to the same conclusion. petite clothes are made for petite and small people, average clothes are all off on me. either too big, too long, or too small in some places. i've just resorted to learning a skill just so i can even have basic clothes to fit me.
This was so helpful!! Thank you!! I've been watching video after video for one that both uses a regular sewing machine and shows how to do the elastic openings! Thank you!
I love your tutorial❤How do you know what size elastic to use for your legs and arms neck and back? I am going to try making one for my grandaughter. She wears a size 8.
Love your tutorials! I’d love to see how to do a V neck leotard, the two I’ve done I couldn’t get perfectly flat but I’m just making it up as I go along so probably doing something wrong haha
Thank you for this! I want to get into making my own performance costumes and your videos have helped so much!! I'm not used to sewing with elastic, do you need to stretch the elastic a little as you sew it? Or do you leave the elastic unstretched?
Hey Sandra! It's possible that your needle isn't sharp enough and/or its not made for stretch fabric so it's pushing the fabric down into the bottom. Another possibility is that the fabric is too flimsy. Try putting a piece of masking tape or even tissue paper under the fabric for your first few stitches and then tear it away when you're done sewing. This should stop that from happening 😊
🙌🏾 as a plus sized pole dance I've come to the conclusion I have to make my own clothes. This helped me a lot.

I want to see your creations!

Love your tutorials! You're one of the few sewists I've seen who uses the triple straight stitch, that's my favourite too!
Love triple stitch! It is criminally underrated lol
What are you using to cut your material out?
Could you use a twin needle instead of a zigzag stitch to finish filing under the elastic?

Can you tell me where you purchase your slider clasps for the neck? I’m having the hardest time finding them.

Love this video!! So helpful!
Hi, I love the tutorial! One question, where did you get this pattern from?
She said, she had made it herself.
Do you sell your patterns?
Would love to know if your still sewing! Love this video ❤
this was super helpful! thank you :)
What sewing machine do u use?
Awesome, so helpful! Thank you!
Could you please send us a link where you ordered your fabric from? Thank you.
I may have to make some leotards now! Would the zig zag stitch work better than a stretch stitch?
Can you do a tutorial how to make this pattern please?
Which fabric did you use???
Really helpful. Thank you 🇬🇧
My little self taught self just realized. I don’t actually need a mat if I use the rotary thing that has a plate. True 💡 moment.
More dance costume tutorials please!
HI, what tool are you using to cut the fabric? looks like a rotary cutter on steroids
It's an electric rotary cutter!
This is amazing! Thank you so much!!!
Just curious. Why would my machine suck the fabric into the bottom causing it to get stuck?

Thank you so helpful

Wait why you haven’t post in 2 years :(
Serger? I don’t even know her!
I spent too much time contemplating between this and 'never heard of her' haha
