Thanks for the great tutorial! Hopefully the next time I try this there won't be as much crying 😢.
I hope there are lots of smiles! 😀
Been sewing for 18 years and i came here to see if I had been missing something about curves, especially exaggerated curved seams. Learned a few tricks and was refreshed on some things I forgot. Thanks a bunch!
You are so welcome. Thank you for watching today :)
Thank you so much for making it clear and easy !
You're very welcome! Thank you for watching.
I would never had guessed in my life to see curves together like this.
Pretty cool huh
@@SewAnastasia it’s ridiculously cool. I want to learn how to sew, your videos are blowing my mind
THANK YOU SEW MUCH, THAT WAS A PRETTY COOL TUTORIAL. ✌🏼😊 🌸
Thank you for watching.
I've been shying away from curves in the past, I'll have to try it now. Thanks!
You can do it!
Thanks I’ve been wondering about how to do this for a long time didn’t know it was this simple and something I already do. Ok didn’t know I had to walk it along the edge
. ✨wonderful ✨
I'm glad this video helped you! Sometimes the simplest solutions are right in front of us.
I always wind up with puckers when sewing a curved seam, so this was really helpful!
It’s very common for people to end up with puckers cause they are really hard to sew but hopefully next time you try it & use these tips & techniques it will work out 💖
This are gret tips 🎉..thanks!
Welcome 🤗 Thank you for watching :)
That was super helpful! Thank you!💖
Glad it was helpful!
This is incredible information to have. Really, just great! Will save this one for if I have to use these crazy curves at some point. I have been sewing for over 10 years now and I still haven't sewn anything quite this curvy. Thank you!
Very welcome 🤗 Maybe it’s time to challenge yourself with curved style lines! 💖🎀
Thaaaaank you for this video , have been looking for one easy way to do that 😊
Happy to help!
Thank you so much 🎉
Welcome!
Not me watching this AFTER having done two Axis tank top by Sophie Hines. Thank you. It's gonna help cause each top I made, my brain COULD NOT compute!
Ha. Happy to help :) Thank you for watching.
How would I finish the inside raw edges?! 😊
Serge it or bias binding or zig zag or overcast or pinking shears
Super helpful, thank you! Would you handle knits the same way? I'm imaging maybe using a stay stitch first, then follow your directions?
Yes, you can definitely use a stay stitch as a first step when working with knits! It can help stabilize the fabric and prevent stretching while you follow my directions. Give it a try and let me know how it works for you!
@@SewAnastasia Totally worked! Thank you! I'd been fighting this design that's been floating around my head for a while now. So happy to have finally finished it and it looks great. Thank you so much!
@@Naturally336 this is awesome to hear :) send pics!!
Thanks for the tutorial! Once you’re done sewing, what do you with remaining seam allowance? Do you just iron it to one side?
Yeah iron it over to one side
I was wondering about that, too. Thanks Anastasia for clearing that up for us. 😉😻
@@CurtriceHertlein-qj3qn for sure!
Can you do pants zipper fly front?
Great idea!
I think the tension on the pressure foot or that under feeder thing is too high b/c mine fights me HARD when I try to curve it. It's an older machine so harder to find info about messing with it. I think I just need to upgrade my machine.
It sounds like an upgrade is in need! Nothing better than a new sewing machine!
