this video deserves more. the presentation is amazing and it isn't just a video showing the final product. even more, you filmed the whole thing. this build is really cool and I am going to do the same in the not too distant future (i have only made it custom from the initial enclosure. thanks for this vid, keep it up

Amazing work man. I’ve been looking for affordable options for my boa who looks cramped in a 75 gallon enclosure and this would be perfect. Love the video. Clear audio, excellent camera work, and making sure to show everything from tools, hardware, materials, and even mentioning where to get everything. Every tutorial on YT should be held to this standard.

I've been wanting to build something like this for years, but for plants as I grow rare tropicals, but most videos are not helpful. I'm autistic and I need to actually see things so I know how to do them and I appreciate this video so much so I can see the actual steps and what you're doing. This is going to be my project for February, thank you so much!

I am so tempted to use the spray foam to make a backdrop when I eventually make my enclosure. Not only does it look great, well yours does at least, I feel it will also help add a thermal barrier. I am so concerned about temp loss as my room is in a basement and we have times, like today, where power went out for several hours.

@Kristen Faith yes you can get aluminum or steel screen depending where you live at local hardware stores for $6. Then just apply it to the frame. My basking spot is 12 inches away from my Arcadia uvb bulbs. I have the 12% but the screen will block some of it so roughly 5-6 on the uvi index.

Amazing video, amazingly helpful information, amazing end result, beautiful terrarium! Give that good boi some more tall climbing objects! Let him use that vertical space you worked so hard to build!

@@ChiefSweetsUniverse About to try and build my own enclosure for the first time. Contemplating starting with a used cabinet furniture piece as a base so I don’t have to build the frame and walls. 🤔 Fingers crossed it turns out as nice as yours and isn’t a disaster! 😆 Do you know roughly how much you paid for all the materials required for your enclosure?

@@thelittlestgiant yeah the entire thing screws glass wood and paint was $250

@@ChiefSweetsUniverse Hey, I’ve got a couple more questions now that I’m starting work on my own enclosure. Is placing the heat lap directly on top of the metal screen a fire hazard if your enclosure walls are made out of wood? Does heat travel through the metal screen and outward into the tops of the wood walls? (I don’t think you actually showed how to built the food portion of this enclosure in your video.) Also, do you know if the expanding foam/mortar/paint is flammable? Is it safe to coat the entire wall to the very top, or should it only go partway up to prevent being too close to the heat lamp? Just trying to brainstorm here and save myself extra work so I don’t need to go back later to fix things.

@@thelittlestgiant yeah placing the lamp directly on the metal screen is fine. Also I painted all over it handles the heat just fine. So far been going a solid year no troubles

I've watched dozens of these builds leading up to building our 4x2x2 beardie enclosure. I wish I had seen this one first. By far the best build video I've seen thus far. Clear directions, simple enough for nearly anyone to build this and well constructed. I wish I had seen this before doing the build we just did. It is heavy and solid but very hard to manage because of the weight. This one looks like it will be solid without being extreme in its weight. I honestly want to build this now despite already building one. I love it so much. @ChiefSweetsUniverse what area(region) did you source your supplies? I know I can't always get supplies others get where I am. Again so well done and easy to follow instructions. Kudos to you

I'm currently building this terrarium. Where can I find the railing that the plexyglass slides in? What is it called?

I'd make a ramp up and give him a second level to explore, would really make use of the extra height otherwise it's just wasted space. Plus from their perspective it's like nearly doubling the enclosure, gives them more of a sense of freedom.
