Worst feeling: Seeing the recent Hello Fresh logo. It was already perfect since the original Hello Fresh logo represents on how perfect portions are packed and ready to be used. But they changed it with not only the text font being simplified, but also having the words outside the lime, defeating the meaning of the brand.
Do NOT put a gun near someone that just missed a 95% accurate attack.
Edit: this very comment just happened to me in a nuzlocke where I almost lost my starly and it was 2 in a row 🙁

I knew the corruption happens to my Crystal game a lot now a days due to it being 23 years old, but I didn't know it can happen to a newer game.

Even the oldest games that were on the Gameboy that you had never corrupted? Wow. I wonder why my Crystal game keeps corrupting every time I started a new file. It started when I was in Middle School when I wanted to check on my very first file. The time was different than I remember but when I turned it back on to play it a few days later, it showed an hour or two ahead while the day stayed the same. Eventually, it started corrupting and I had to start over. Over time, it came down to if I wanted to continue playing it, I had to keep it on all the time. After wanting to play it for content, I did it one last time before giving up on that file for good. At least I was able to relive my childhood one last time before leaving my first game for good. At least the remake didn't corrupt and I still have my file there.
@@graciegonzales2077I don’t know how to tell you this… but your Crystal battery is… gone. The battery inside your cartridge that holds the in-game clock… it also holds your save game. And it’ll never save again. You might have to get a new battery if you want to save again.
For Nuzlockes: When you lose a great pokémon, you think "That's fine, I can still beat the game", but that starts a snowball effect that causes you to lose even more pokémon later down the line.
Happened to me in Johto,lost Quagsire and it all went downhill
Did a soul nuzlocke. I lost the starter before the first gym. My friend kept us at one Pokemon till drayden.
I remember both my Nuzlockes both flopped simply cause I got so disheartened I quit
White 2 was when Iron Man the Magnemite died to a random trainers Rain Castform killed it
And Alpha Sapphire was when Dogwood the Mightyena died cause she was kinda the soul of the team and it wasn't the same without her
This is why I refuse to do nuzlocke runs
@@Mr.Feather130 Aye. Same here. If I want challenge or just to spice things up a bit without relying on artificial difficulty, I just do Mono-type runs or alternatively some form of theme like lets say, Turtle Team or Ball-Shaped Team.
Honestly using different pokemon that you have never used before, did made the fun for me, whilst maybe finding the gems in the rough.
The 2-3 second pause after "(Insert name here) is confused", silently begging your pokemon to not be an idiot, followed by "It hit itself in confusion" and the broken bond between the two of you 😢
Of course the opponent is perfectly fine when it happens to them though. They might hit themselves once in a blue moon maybe.

i've been getting really into nuzluckes lately and i have to say losing a pokemon to a crit or getting the worst encounter in the route really sucks

Corrupted data happened to me back in gen 6 on a save with tons of event mons and shinies I'd collected from multiple gens 😭

That happened to me with Gale of Darkness. I had just finished the main story and took a small break. When I tried to go back in to start purifying Lugia, I got the corrupted data message. I was so crushed I never tried again.

These days im saying 30% solely because the A.I uses 55% accuracy moves and they hit EVERY. SODDING. TIME!!!

When you want to catch the Pokémon that you wanted to use on your team....but it's obtainable very much later in the game and worse, its either obtainable in the post game or Exclusive to the Opposite Version or one of them gets event-locked (Zorua line in BW 😔). This happens to me when I build up my team in my first playthrough of HGSS and BW1.
it was Salamence for me in BDSP and Scarlet.
in the former, he was available in post-game after obtaining the National Dex... i stopped playing because no-one back then was at that point in the game, if they had Shining Pearl (i wanted to beat the League with him).
in the latter, he was version exclusive - though i was *lucky* someone wanted to trade me a Bagon in exchange for a Larvitar.
That was my main frustration with the games as a kid. Arcanine was in red but I only had access to blue. Houndour is in kanto. Gengar is trade only and I couldn't trade, and then when I finally got a DS and Pearl, none of my friends played pokemon anymore. Mindy is the absolute worst, I already didn't like Pearl and that just made me want to stop playing completely. Now I just play romhacks.

Felt. The worst I felt this was when doing a shiny dream team quest in hgss, I made the decision to have mismagius as one of my members. As I would find out, my options were either to risk misdreavus running away in the safari zone or wait until I have beaten the elite four AND do all the kanto gyms so I can encounter it in Mt Silver... Basically the entire game at that point.

For me, the most annoying thing is running into Floette near the fairy Team Star base. They're...so...SMALL!!!

I forgot the pokemon but l, remember I kept bouncing into them and encountering a battle over and over again

It's coping, not hoping, man. The Pokemon company has long realised that millions of people will buy their games even if they're rushed and only halfway finished.
They're a business and their aim is to make money, so they will continue this trend until it stops making money.

For me, it's critical hits. Just when I was handling myself, I get critted. Now I can't even play any of the games without getting hit with a random crit.

Random crits keep the fear of God in you. As someone who’s done competitive and dabbled in nuzlockes, you never believe in a god more than when you pray to not get crit
For me, its using frost breath and getting called out for the lucky crit

On my first play thourgh of BW the Minnchino was shiny
I reset exactly 12 TIMES out of pure and utter spite.
Oof. That's rough. Funny enough I have a shiny Minncino of my own in Black 2. A decent nature and Technician ability to boot.
I remember seeing a shiny tentacool back in fire red and thinking, "Hey, this thing looks weird," and immediately ran, not knowing it was a shiny until years later

That or if you're casual, you could care less. The only time it matters to a casual is if a certain nature is needed for it to evolve into a different form like toxel into toxtricity. I phased 3 times looking for a shiny pawmo and thankfully the 2 duplicate toxel I thought I had, turned out to be different forms when I evolve them. The 3rd was a shiny iron hands.
3:29 this happened to me so much when hunting for a shiny zangoose. I got 3 lechonks, 3 litleos and a vigoroth all before coming across my glorious blue zangoose.
Finding a shiny while grinding is worse
In Pokemon Gen 1, there was a glitch called the 1/256 glitch, which makes it so attacks that are said to be 100% accurate in reality have a 1/256 chance to miss. In Pokemon Showdown the Pokemon team attempted to fix a lot of the jankyness of RBY so they fixed the 1/256 glitch, except only kinda. In Pokemon showdown instead of 100% accurate attacks having a 1/256 chance to miss, they have a 1/65,536 chance to miss (since 256 squared is 655536)
1 year ago I was playing a tournament with my friends on the Stadium format of RBY on Showdown and my Tauros missed a body slam that would've won me grand finals, and I then proceeded to lose the set. I'm still mad about it to this day and haven't played the Stadium format since

Knowing that the pressure on Gamefreak to release content earlier and earlier resulting in more worker fatigue and bugged games is only going to get worse.
I'm honestly fine waiting an extra year or two for new games if it means the workers aren't crunched so hard.
My worst Pokémon feeling was when I sold a complete in box copy of Pokémon Silver Version with all manuals inserts and advertisements for like 20 bucks or something

I had basically gotten every game legit growing up (perks of being an only child) aside from gen 6, but I no longer have any of them because I was only allowed one system at a time. If I got a new console, I had to sell off my old one.

i 100% agree with what you said, Pokemon Unite is probably the game that made me most angry. One of my friends who respectfully isn't too great in ranked keeps getting carried up to master rank. We've seen a few of his matches to know that, while im over here having to solo carry the team and failling

Also Ash was in the anime for like 26 years, and the new Pokemon Horizons anime is already really fantastic so I hope more people will be willing to give it a shot and move on from Ash once the english dub comes out! 😭
I can relate to some of these you mentioned for all my previous attempts on Nuzloking. Getting poison, died to non super effective move, and things lock off to you when you need them.

Trying to get gold in gen 4 battle factory recently. I've experienced so many different emotions, mostly negative
5:40 "That we'll never actually see Ash become the very best" would probably be here if this video was made 2 years ago. Even someone who grew up with the anime, I don't miss Ash. Actually committing to a conclusion of his arc (and that final championship battle) was easily one of the best things the anime has done in a long time. I kinda understand why some people miss him, but at the same time, we got 26(-ish) years of Ash where most of the time people were complaining that he was still the protagonist. It's just odd to see the shift.
2:10 happened to me when my second favorite Pokémon Lurantis got it’s most useful move superpower taken away from it in gen 9 and I also hated when game freak cut my third favorite Pokémon Durant from Gen 9 to 2:56

Same! My Greedent evolved the same time as my Boltund, and THAT was a disappointment. Yamper was so charming so getting Generic Hound out of it was a letdown. But then Greedent evolved and it was fun and full of personality!

It is tied with typhlosion as my fav starter, it too hard to choose one or the other

Gen 1. Losing a battle only to realize years later as an adult that i lost half of my total money every time i lost a battle. As a kid never knew nor did i think to save before battles lol
Having shinies run from me is infuriating. I've had it happen to me twice in the gen 4 games. Both time in the Great Marsh, both times were a shiny I really like: Croagunk. To this day, I've still been unable to get one even when hunting for it with improved shiny odds with the shiny charm and/or things like mass outbreaks and sandwiches. I WILL get one eventually.
Focus Blast is notoriously annoying but honestly 90% acc like Play Rough might even be worse because you don't expect to miss all the time like you do with Focus Miss but man does it sting all the more
And yeah any Battle Frontier/Tower related area can be extremely frustrating. Getting super far with a great streak...only to have it ended by some bs like Confusion, Para, Misses, Flinches or crits. Made me rage-quit many times before
Some of my worst feelings.
When both your opponents and your own Pokemon are confused and yours is the only one hitting themselves.
Small, barely noticeable Pokemon in the overworld constantly popping up when you're running through the fields (especially Greavards).
When you are doing dynamax adventures and your A.I partners keep picking the wrong Pokemon for the battles (or don't change when they have the chance to) and you lose the legendary as a result.
When there's outbreaks but they are Bombirdier, Veluxa, a Pokémon that is rarely on the ground, a Pokémon that rubs away or any other Pokémon that run into when you're trying to look for another Pokémon.
When the attack that wasn’t 100% accurate missed,I totally hate it when that happened

The part about Unite is so relatable, lol. Also, the one about a Starter I wanted to pick having an underwhelming evolution was me with Litten. I was disappointed with Incineroar and switched over to Popplio, because I love Primarina way more.
When pokéball shakes 3 times but pokémon still catchn't.
When you find a shiny in a gen 2 game and you try to use a ball; only to find out that the PC box is full and you have to manually change it at a Pokemon center. This pissed Me off in silver version, when I found a shiny Caterpie.

I actually used the GTS for the first time ever last month or so while replaying X. I put a Clauncher for trade and got a shiny Skrelp immediately (love the person who gave me it sm, they’re a blessing).
The Skrelp was French and so was named Venalgue, and I thought that it was a damn cool name and hoped it would stay French.
Then it evolved and the name became English and I was so damn sad, esp since now I can’t rename it.
It's evolution is named Kravarech in French, I'd trade you one but it sadly wouldn't be shiny

Missing a 100% accurate move in pokemon stadium. Because in pokemon stadium, the gen 1 the "miss every 1 in 256" glitch is replaced with the "miss every 1 in 65,536" glitch.
I started a new save of Let's Go once and my game crashed during a trade. The game corrupted. My Shining Pearl also corrupted once, don't know why, but luckily I fixed that one.
The amount of shiny hoppips I have because shiny Luantis just wouldn't spawn makes me bitter to an inconceivable level
The missing moves one.
TODAY on just a single gym battle alone, I missed 3 pyroballs, 3 meteor mashes and 2 night dazes.
meanwhile the enemy lands a bounce, that crits AND paralyzes me between the failed meteor mashes.
Two of them
1.Corrupted save
2.Deleted Save Data
When someone makes a sponsor for a product they've likely never used and just reads off a generic script
I hate it when takes ages to catch one Pokémon that you find but it runs away afterwards
Worst feeling about pokemon unite:
1. Playing pokemon unite
2. having 3 attackers at you team
3. seeing a new pokemon being added knowing it will create a whole new tier again and wait for it to receive an emergency nerf.... again
4. teammates farming Indede when Ray appeared

man why did they have to stop making mega evolutions, it was one of the few things that got me back into playing pokemon
It also doesn't help that they've been introducing new concepts for one generation then getting rid of them in the next

@@Alaska23 with Monster Hunter, it's been hit after hit (even if i get tired of it); with pokemon, only Mega Evolution is the gimmick i actually like - Dynamaxing's 2nd place... well, Gigantamaxing, technically.
i think the reason why Monster Hunter gimmicks work is because Capcom either makes them feel optional (Slinger), or they impliment them well into the fight (Clutch Claw against Safi'jiiva and Wirebugs against Primordial Malzeno)...
whereas Pokemon makes the gimmicks somewhat mandatory; a requirement (save for XY and ORAS). at least, that's what they feel like to me.

4:48 I relate to that, when the event for the Shiny Galarian Birds was going on I got Articuno and Zapdos but when it came time for Moltres I forgot about it. I even remembered to register for the battles but I forgot to fight so now I only have Shiny Galarian Articuno and Zapdos. By the time I remembered it was 2 or 3 days after the battle period was over. It frustrates me how I only have 2 out of 3.
Getting bad teammates in an online Vs game always makes me mad cause there so much I can do and I either end up losing badly or somehow winning by 1 point

When game has touchscreen only features and your touchscreen dosen't work propely. I can't use pokemon ammie anymore, because I can't leave it and save, it might be not most liked or needed feature, but I love it.
I'm going to be honest every single one of these is kind of why I don't really play Pokemon often anymore I literally stopped altogether after their last mass of a game the idea was good where I can run around and catch em all but for the fact that it's just wasn't that fun and it was glitchy so so glitchy
I was devastated as a child when my copy of White 2 had its save data corrupted. I had no idea what to do about it, even if I could restart, so I reluctantly trashed it box and all.
Just to see how it's priced nowadays and fully regret it.
It still remains as my most played game in my 3ds activity log
Don't worry, give it until gen 10 comes out with gen 5 remakes, the price will drop. Only downside is gen 6 will rise.

While a Shiny never ran away from me, I did weaken a Shiny Houndour to red health in a romhack, and still none of the Pokeballs I had caught her! I didn't have a lot, but still. I was so bummed that I quit.

This can go under "missing a move" in general, but one of my personal worst feelings is missing a Wide Lens Population Bomb after ONE hit
When you are in a gym that will restart if you exit and you only got you're starter and the last pokemon of the last trainer is one that can have fire absorb

When you're doing really well in the battle tower and then you lose bc the NPC is spamming KO attacks and somehow hitting every single one of them
4:53 Not only if you forget, but Pokémon never promote their events other than Game Crazy, Game Stop, Toy R Us and online. So if you couldn’t go to the stores and back in the day you didn’t always have access to the internet you always missed out on events

When a Pokémon you loves shiny is revealed and it sucks or the shiny is insanely hard to get and it sucks ( ceruledge, gimmighoul)
I had a bad experience where I ran into a shiny Drowzee but didn't have pokeballs (I was training a team for the pokemon league but I had potions so oops also I swore to myself I would forget it but its been 5 years so idk if it will happen)

True story btw; I somehow missed 3 PLAY ROUGHS (which is 90% accurate) in a row. I swear, my Tinkaton was cursed.

Knowing Ash-Greninja exists is the single most painful thing to know in life. It's so stupid both in idea and execution.
Greninja GOT the special treatment because it was popular but the other 2 didn't :(
Definitely where you think you've caught a pokemon, especially one with a low catch rate and after minutes after minutes have passed by, you finally think you've caught it until, boom, it pops out of the ball at the very last second
When you get paralyzed, you get fully paralyzed every turn. When you get confused, you hit yourself every turn. When you get put to sleep, it's max length. When you get one accuracy drop, you never hit. When you boost your evasion, you get hit. When you use a multi-hit move, it hits the minimum amount of times.
None of this applies to the opponent.
these moments all hurt me deeply.
