Happy .45 Friday! Nick and Eli are back again to ramble on about the 1911 platform. Specifically today, we're taking a look at the magazines we use for the Quantico HiCap!
So, how about a 2011 lower that takes Hi-Power mags? Double stack, ubiquitous, and designed for 9mm from day 1. Seems kinda the retro/classic styling that would be right up Alchmey’s alley. I can’t imagine I’m the first person with this idea so I suspect there’s some good engineering reason why it’s harder than it sounds.
Now that is some great extractor tension based on those case ejections. Seriously, that full rail model has my attention. A commander in the full rail would also be sexy (hint, hint).
My brother in Christ, I respect the full leather kit.

Let's hear more about the 13rd prototype you mentioned...
Curious as well….sounds like an interesting prototype. Please tell us there’s a prototype gun that matches.

Good stuff thanks men! MBX and Atlas make good sticks!
If these guys are making a stack and a half 12-13 round 1911 mag, I'm going to be very excited!
I’m hoping that’s an officers length mag for a 2011. Quantico Hi cap CCO…. Shut up and take my money/ I’ll be in my bunk.
Will yall ever make the HiCap with a grip module that allows for 1911 grip panels?
No… won’t work…. It’ll make the grips too fat
Any 15 rounders?
Are these checkmate tubes yall tune?
It looks like the same tube to me on the website photo, but i'll let them confirm or deny.
