I really like how thoughtful you are in your kitchen. Simple things like putting a towel under your metal pans and glass bowls to prevent scratches on your granite to NOT tapping the metal microplane onto your metal mixing bowl. I can see myself in you.
I've made this bread twice in the last week and it is delicious! Instead of candied fruit peel I used orange and lemon zest which gave the bread a bit of zing. Stephanie, i love your videos and the way you go through all the steps carefully, explaining how to add each ingredient. As someone new to baking, I appreciate all the tips like keeping eggs at room temperature, adding in eggs one at a time to the batter, making sure that butter and sugar are creamed properly etc. I never appreciated how those things can make a real difference to the results. Your videos have really boosted my confidence. Going to try your sticky toffee pudding recipe this weekend, now that the weather has turned colder.
Stephanie, you are a special treat to the culinary world. Haven't made cranberry bread in quite a while but think I will be making this within the next couple of days. Happy New Year to you and yours.
I'll be honest. Once I realized there's practically no fat in this bread I was sceptical. But you were so enthusiastic about and I happened to have some leftover cranberries and pecans and oranges so I made it yesterday. I cut a slice this morning. It's delicious!!! And so pretty to look at it. You were right! 😄
For Years this is my favorite muffin recipe, and I cheat by using a half a can of frozen concentrate orange juice that's thawed and water... instead of making it from scratch. I also use ground or powered pecans mixed in the batter. It gives it a more wholesome taste and feel. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe.
Hi Stephanie... thank you for this and all your recipes you share...I love your channel. I love cranberries and all things cranberries....making this today.
I was just going through your website looking for an orange cake and voila, a notification about this recipe lol. Thanks for all your wonderful desserts. Happy holidays to you and your family!
A silk purse was the result of my sow’s ear approach to making this recipe. I struggled and struggled with the assembly of the numerous parts and when I finally got it put into the oven I felt I should kneel down and say a prayer of Thanksgiving. The dough was very dry and unruly, so much so that I kept adding more and more orange juice to the dough. Finally, after all TWELVE ounces of that juice was in the mixing bowl the dough did, reluctantly, give up and became pourable. I was just sure that I had wasted a week’s pay and a couple hours time on something that I was going to have to put in the trash. Imagine my surprise when after a mere 65 minutes the toothpick came out clean. I forced myself to let it set overnight and cut a nice slice of it after my breakfast this morning. It was FANTASTIC! One last comment. I forgot to chop the frozen cranberries, but they are a very pleasant, tasty part of this wonderful bread. Thank you for the recipe.
I love your channel i have been watching it since 2015 if not before i always go back for it for any recipe. I like how slow you go to explain everything with the little tips you give👌🏻. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us ❤❤❤
Thank u so much for sharing such wonderful recipes.I am very glad to say that you are my baking Guru.I have been following your recipes since long back and the best part is I like your way of explaning details and keeping everything prim and proper as I can relate myself with that. The cranberry orange bread came out so tasty that everyone loved it
What a lovely cake 😋 I tried this and it turned out super delicious Used dried sweetened cranberries and reduced sugar .its perfect.. Thank u for such a great recipe. Will bake it once more 👍😊
I was looking for something to take to a potluck dinner and of course, where else to go get ideas with the right recipes and have no doubt that It will be buds pleasing. Thank you
I love tart desserts, like lemon meringue pie, this looks delicious, will use your suggestion of buying cranberries in bulk in the fall and freezing in batches. Thanks Joy, the best to you in the New Year.
I have been following you for quite a few months. Whenever, I tweak something in your recipe, it goes horrible. This one, I just repeated your formula to the T. It was great... delicious. Thank you for the recipes. Merry Christmas and Happy new year.
Hi Beautiful Stephanie! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thank you for The Beautiful Recipes throughout the year. you Are Truly a Blessing and Joy. God Bless You Always!! I Love You!
Love your brownie recipe. I make it all the time. I've made other recipes and they all turn out amazing. Could you please do a recipe for CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE PIE filled with nutella?
Merry Christmas to you and your family Stephanie. Love this bread, here in Australia it’s hard to find fresh or frozen cranberries but fried ones are easy. Could I substitute with something else?
I will find the time to try how the taste of this bread as i have never tasted the bread using pie crust strategy to make it! Thanks! Merry Christmas and Happy Year 2020!!
Thenk you very much for this bread recipe!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I always make the other one from your video. Now I have to try this one too! 👩🏻🍳 I think it must be delicious😋 Have a nice week dear Stephanie! 😘😘😘
We love her original cranberry bread recipes; I am substituting dried cranberries. Use slightly fewer berries if dried. Walnuts are better tasting than pecans (pecans are slightly sweet) and walnuts add a good contrast to the sweetness of other ingredients.
I think this would make a great alternative to Fruit Cake. Very pretty and looks delicious. I love orange and cranberry together. I always make my Cranberry Sauce with orange juice so I'm sure I'll love this bread.
This looks sooo yummyyyy..you are definitely an inspiration to all the budding bakers all around the world. But i have just one question, why is it called a bread and not a cake???
Hi Stephanie, could you PLEASE...please do a recipe for CANDIED ORANGE OR LEMON PEEL??!! It costs so much in the store and I happen to have some wonderful organic oranges, the peel of it is sooo scrumptious that I am zesting it and freezing it, BUT I would love to make candied orange peel but don't know how?!!!!
I love orange-cranberry anything (just about). Why not pulse the cranberries in a food processor a few times to chop them? For the juice, make your own. Fresh squeezed is SO much better than pasteurized which has been heated. Also a bakery I used to go to in Newport, RI used to make something they called a Caribbean muffin and it was essentially an orange cranberry muffin with nuts, raisins and dried apricot bits and a little coconut added and they were really delicious as well.
Cutting vs. pulsing is mostly an aesthetic thing. If you cut them, you can see a clear cranberry profile when you cut the bread. If you pulse them, you'll often end up with lots of strands of fruit that won't look as nice in the finished bread. It will still taste great though.
I know this video is 4 years old but was that a orange you usese is a variety suited for juicing such as a Valencia? I found using oranges like a navel orange in a recipe still taste good and they typically don't have seeds and it doesn't really matter if you strain the pulp out or not in that case.

What great timing - I have some extra cranberries, several oranges, and even some nuts left in a bag, walnuts. I just may give this a try! Thanks!
I’m gonna do the same have same ingredients leftover from Thanksgiving 🤗

Yes, you could do that.
Stephanie, I love orange cranberry bread. Yours looks delicious!! Can dried and soaked (in orange juice) cranberries be used?

GREAT! thanks!!!!
Hey love your recipe as usual... can the cranberry replaced with strawberries or blueberries?
I know this video is 4 years old but was that a orange
you usese is a variety suited for juicing such as a Valencia? I found using oranges like a navel orange in a recipe still taste good and they typically don't have seeds and it doesn't really matter if you strain the pulp out or not in that case.
I have used various types of oranges, depending on what’s available.
Love the recipe but it's difficult to get fresh cranberries from where I'm staying. Can I use dried cranberries instead?
Can you make muffins out of this batter?
Yes, you could do that.
Hi. Can I use dried cranberries instead of fresh? I'm not I'll find fresh cranberries where I live. Thanks 😊
You could use dried cranberries.
Joy of Baking should we use less sugar?
Hi Stephanie, do you ever happen to cook as well as bake, or do you just bake?
you're amazing !!
Hello Mam! Can we use the dried cranberries for this bread? Is there anything that needs to be taken care of if using dried cranberries?
You could use dried cranberries. No changes need to be made to the recipe if using dried fruit.
Thank you😊
Hi Stephanie. Should I reduce the amount of sugar if I am using dried cranberries instead of fresh ones?
