This one was a lot of fun to do and has easily become one of our favorite brunches in Vegas. I hope you have as good of an experience as we did. What a fantastic video! My fiance, who has done television editing/production, said how fantastic everything was, start to finish. I have been meaning to say that for a while. 3 Did you guys do anything technologically different for this video? I think this is the first time one of your videos froze on me. It froze a lot too. It's probably yt or my internet carrier. You're always looking for constructive criticism. So, I thought that I would mention that 😊
@ayatollah - I know when we watched it together on our TV an hour ago we did not notice any freezing on the video, and the file looked to have played through on my MacBook after exporting, but I always worry that something could go wrong when uploading but as far as I am aware we did not have issues when watching it back. Because our TV app for UA-cam is often connected to a Google streaming device that we hook up to our TV, when in doubt or when stuff freezes we often just reset it (or reset the router). As for the music, I always try to find something in theme with the video and something a bit different than the standard UA-cam library of music just because a lot of those are often done by so many creators and I want something to stand out. We use Envato Elements to get our music but that often means on the creator ends it’s a bit more of a hassle but it’s worth it for a unique video. Thanks for watching and the feedback. -Paul
It was actually surprisingly good (in our opinion). Now I will say that the Barbacoa Benedict was not my favorite (it tasted a bit too sweet and tangy for me), and some of the items were a bit basic as I mentioned in the video, but even if that was the case, you better believe I had them bring out another plate of the steak and eggs - and with it being AYCE, it’s not a bad option for that price. I do suggest just having the server bring out stuff. But you can also just order any of the plates you want. They usually bring out 3 to 4 at a time until you say “I’m done” -Paul
It’s tucked in the back by the convention center on the long pathway to the Shark Reef aquarium so it’s sort of hidden, but thankfully for $44.99 for all you can eat, it’s a great option. I will say this. If I remember correctly we made a reservation, and that’s highly suggested because this weekend brunch is only in Saturday and Sunday and is very popular. And we are both feeling better. James’ voice is still not 100% but today would have been our check in at The Paris for the second half of the stay, but the reschedule worked out better in our favor so that way we can be 100% for the next wave of content. It was truly delicious, and because it’s small plates it’s great because they keep the portions manageable to allow you to go through the whole menu. You can either order whatever you want from the 16 options or you can do what we did and just tell the server to bring stuff out until you go through the whole menu. But at $44.99 it’s priced just slightly above what you will pay for an MGM buffet (I remember we paid somewhere in the higher $30’s for Excalibur when we did that), and the food is much better. Plus as you said, it’s not sitting out for self serve, they cook it in their kitchen and bring it out. So with that in mind, we found it to be a decent price. Thanks for watching ❤️. -Paul

I don’t recall if they asked us on the eggs for any of the dishes and that is likely because when they do these plates they are likely just cooked up as they are ordered, plated up, and brought out. And the level of service with this was so spot on. It seemed that after we finished a wave of plates, the new ones would arrive. For our experience, our server basically asked us if we wanted to order specific plates, or if we just wanted them to bring out plates in waves of 3 or 4 at a time until sampling the whole menu and we chose the second option as it’s just more fun that way. That being said, I don’t recall them asking us about the eggs, and I would assume that if they did we would have likely asked for them to be sunny side up for the runny yolk as that’s often how we both order eggs, so I am going to say that they did not because scrambled is often not what we would order. -Paul
I am not exactly sure on that. I know that we often have a dining credit with our MGM offers but we typically will just charge everything to the room when we can and usually at the end of it at check out the front desk can apply that to the bill. I think the biggest thing is that if the restaurant allows you to charge the bill to your room at an MGM property, they should allow you to put it toward the dining credit. Admittedly at the time of this brunch, we were still waiting on check in for our room at Mandalay Bay, so I think I may have paid the tab and did not have the opportunity to ask. I wish I could have been of more help or provided a better answer. -Paul
I mean… there’s always room for sausage… but it wasn’t on the menu. The breakfast tacos did have Chorizo which is a type of sausage. But that’s about as close as you’ll get with this brunch. -Paul
