Imagine if the 'future' cortex with the goofy comedic cortex, like how we see him in twinsanity, and the 'past' cortex was the super serious and competent cortex from the original trilogy, and voiced by clancy brown

This does make perfect sense; they should've made Present Cortex the Twinsanity look while Past Cortex had the Classic look. Then we could actually tell them apart. Not to mention having Present Cortex's voice done by Lex Lang while Past Cortex's voice done by Clancy Brown.

PC is fine; what TFB did instead was give what *they* thought was representation for women, but it just felt like a bunch of old men saying "See? We get what women want." Kind of like the shoe-horned scenes in Infinity War and Endgame with the all-woman hero shots. There was no real substance to represent women. It also kills me that people think alternate universe Tawna is "feminist" just because a different hair style (I know they're using it as derogatory) when the reality is her uber badass character isn't in any way feminism. The NST/Nitro-Fueled Tawna was SO GOOD; she actually tried to stand up for herself and she came off as a victim doing her best to get past a bad point in her life (Cortex's imprisonment). They did Tawna dirty by releasing Pixar mom ass Tawna in this game. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.
Agreed. I also hated that the game's title was It's About Time when the game was far more heavily centered around multiverse. I get it; there's a pun about how long it's been since we've had a new game; but time is such a minor element compared to being in a different world.

Not just Tawna, but Coco and Fem Tropy as well. They threw their potential characterisations from the remakes out the window because they had the audacity to have FLAWS and sometimes join in on the silly comedy. It's like they think all girls have a 'spoiled little sister' complex, where the others have to let them win every game, share every toy they have with them, and just let the little brat think they're the most badass, intelligent and attractive person on the planet so they don't throw a tantrum. Basically every girl has to be a badly written Lisa Simpson or else 'sexist'.
The Twinsanity style really complements the body shapes for Cortex in this game. I despise most of the new designs for pushing the silhouettes so far outside their typical shapes, but I think the high collar, the eye makeup (or just really bad eye rings), and the additional color (dark red) really help.
I feel that this looks better as they they look so different and well animated in this scene. The past Cortex could have been modelled to look like the N Sane Trilogy model to represent how Cortext used to look, they used the exact intro screen from Crash Bandicoot 1 remastered so I don't see why they didn't do this.

Just found this after watching Canadian Guy Eh's Mods of the Month for Crash 4 and I gotta say your mods are probably my favorites, but Twinsanity Cortex takes the cake! Man, now I wish I could mod the PS4 version of the game...

I cannot tell you how good the animation was but how good the art style this game is it's so good that I thought the thumbnail was a piece of art not an actual screenshot it was so weird
This is honestly what should have happened. Considering the fact that this game deals with multiple DIMENSIONS, this is a huge wasted opportunity. We should've gotten cameos from versions of the characters from the past games.
The only thing i think of when i see the cutscene is cortex shouting "you furry *s i m p* " at himself thanks to npcarlsson, or more specifically whoever did that scene Edit: miscdan64 was the guy who made the furry simp joke but that scene was like 3 or 4 people
I always liked the Twinsanity design for Cortex, and it especially looks really good in the 3D style of IAT. And I really like how future Cortex has a different outfit from past Cortex. Even still, past Cortex probably still wouldn't get the hint that it is him from the future...
Cortex Vs Cortex moments was the most enjoyable parts of the game. Cause everything else...i'd rather play Storm Ascent from Crash 1....the Original, not the Remake where they added Checkpoints where they weren't before.
I mean based on the intro to Twin Sanity Cortex was using this design during Wrath of Cortex (which is the original Crash 4) so it would have been nice if he used his Twin Sanity design to further differentiate between him and past Cortex

Having not played IAT, I was convinced this was a legitimate cutscene in the game.

They do, Look at the hair more closer. Past Cortex has smoother hair also the outfits are different.
