I like the Crash run interpretation of her since it also takes into account the lore of why she gets angry so easily. She genuinely loves animals and likes holding them. I think it was Cortex who gave her the robotic hands so that she couldn't hold them without hurting them anymore. She got forced to be evil and it's a sad thing but she's a cool character.
It's sad that Nina wasn't a bad kid at first. She was actually kinda nice and loved hugging plushies and cute animals but Cortex decided to replace her hands by mechanical ones so she couldn't hug stuffs and thus the reason she's mostly evil.

@@BagMakingBagmaker Well, it is something she has to deal with her whole life, and it goes without saying waking up everyday to that fact would make her rather bitter. So guess she figured she might as well take the whole evil route. Besides, it's Crash Bandicoot; dumb or not, it fits within the universe when you consider all the ridiculousness the series has.
Nina and Crunch really need a comeback for the new series.

I love how she was meant to appear Twinsanity first, yet somehow made her debut in Crash Purple without Twinsanity's Dev. team even knowing until after the games release. How that happened is still beyond me.

I like her CTR design. It makes her look like a true villain, not just the villain's niece.
For me I always liked it better when she was more of an ally to Crash who was evil, but at least cared a little about Crash.

Found out why Coco sounded familiar, she is voice by Debi Derryberry, who is also the voice actor of Jimmy Neutron. There are a lot of shared voice actors in these sort of games, ratchet from ratchet and clank is voiced by the same person who played Johnny test.
Edit: Omfg Aku Aku is voiced by the person who plays Grimm from Billy and Mandy.

Guess there's a big divide between people who like her Titans redesign/ hate her main series design, and vice versa.
Tbh I love her original look. She's kinda ugly-cute. Titans render looks kinda uncanny to me
Only if her original design had eyebrows instead of chunks of skin like fukcing muscular anime character
prefer her original look too. It really fits the cartoon vibe crash has, and really is augly in a cute kinda way.
And I like Nina more in the titans. She just needs a little tweaking. The original character is too stubborn. And if a new part is still coming out, then I will be against saving this character, since it will no longer be appropriate. Still, somewhere you need to make changes over the heroes. I understand that the game is not serious, but still the characters tend to grow and evolve. And Nina really does not hurt to upgrade. Become more of a teenager than a kid. I would even say to become more sexualized. The original character is just outdated.

I don't know what "the original character is too stubborn" is supposed to mean. What version of Nina are you defining as "the original"? The childish Crash Purple version, the mute Twinsanity version or the malevolent post-CTTR version? No matter which one you meant, I really don't get "too stubborn" as a criticism of a character like her; she's no more "stubborn" than any other villain in the Crash series.
I don't understand what you consider "outdated" about Nina. No matter which version you're talking about, that just doesn't make any sense. There's really nothing that ties her character to any specific time with any of the three versions of her personality.
Oh and what on Earth was that part about sexualisation supposed to mean? Nina has never been remotely sexualised as a character before, are you saying you _want_ her to be sexualised in future games? Because that's kind of a creepy thing to want for a child/early teens character.

I love all of Nina’s designs. But my favorite one is definitely 2019, it has all the best “ugly-cute” elements of her more classic/OTR design.
It sucks that we don’t really get much character for her.
She was MEANT to have more in twinsanity, but that got rushed as we know.
Hopefully she has an actual like, character in another crash game in the future.

*The version crash of The Titans is The Best* They were able to take advantage of it well in that delivery, not like in twinsanity and in its first appearance that, at least in twinsanity we were able to play with it simply in the course of the game (which is incredible by The way)

Honestly I think the mobile games design for Nina is the best. Changing the mouth to be smaller, the nose a bit wider, and the forehead a bit taller honestly make her look much better
Such a shame she never got decent merch. I could see those of us who were into Ruby Gloom and Emily the Strange totally being willing to buy up Nina merchandise.

I love Nina's design on Crash of the Titans (they probably got inspired by MCR (y'know, black shirt and red tie) and that's my favorite band) but Crash on the Run... I saw Nina's design and she looks like a character straight out Famboy and Chum Chum

Honestly feel Nina is such a great and underused character, very much one of the good highlights to come out of sort some of the worst Crash games.

I find Nina Cortex to be a great villain and best of all she's far smarter, serious, and more competent than her uncle Dr Neo Cortex compared to Dr N Brio and Dr N Tropy.
