These Breakfast Burritos complete with the most amazing homemade tortillas were what I would call unforgettable. Anyone can make these so please GO AND COOK AND BE HAPPY AND SHARE THAT JOY WITH ANYONE WHO HAPPENS TO BE AROUND!!
I love your channel and enthusiasm. If you ever do live cooking classes I'd fly to wherever for them. Edit: but if you do I'm claiming 0.1% credit for the genius idea 🥳
Dear Sonny, you have genuinely improved my cooking skills and I have learned many things from you. After all, you’ve made me try making a steak for the first time ever- it turned out great, of course! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and the fact that you do it all for free!
Yup. Me too. I'm getting a huge income tax return and am going to get his recommendation for the petty knife. He has not steered me wrong yet. And, and, I am going to order the ten piece all clad set of pots and pans. Pulling the trigger dudes. 1000$ more than I thought I would get. Plus a compact pancake compressor. I am a man. I need to fix stuff.
Hey, ThatDudeCanCook. Ever since I discovered you and your content I’ve been obsessed with your personality and cheffery skills. You are an actual inspiration to me as I aspire to, not necessarily be called a chef, but to learn all there is to know about making the best food for family and friends. Keep being the absolute badass you are! Sincerely, Jack P
Pro tip for the tortillas - when you’re done cooking them, wrap them in a towel. This will keep them from drying out/flaking and keep them as pliable as ever too. Love the video and all your stuff. Yezzir
This is by far and away the best combination of entertaining host and delicious recipes imo. Absolutely love your energy and food S. man. Hope this road keeps you happy and fulfilled for years to come. ✌️ ❤️
You are just THE BEST cooking channel out there but seriously I enjoy your cooking content as much as some of the GREATEST CHEFS of all time and I’m talking emeril, Mario, Wolfgang…you are TOP NOTCH
by far my favourite channel, super simple and still professional, stupid free, entertaining; just a great human being that loves what he is doing i dont remember how long ive been watching you but i havent stopped since. Tried a few of your recipes and was amazed with the result, lots of love from Cyprus!
I've been reading how people have improved their cooking thanks to you and your videos. I have to join them, I am a basic at home cook, just make meals for my son and I and your methods have made my food so much better. Thank you for being a great teacher and personality.
I've cut out biscuits and have been eating breakfast burritos for a month now sooooo good. Thank you for all that you do Sonny. I've got so much value from this channel.
Thank you sonny. I appreciate your long form videos. A nice break of pace from all the cooking "shorts" out there; and you keep my attention even in a 20 min video. Really appreciate the work you put into these, you have helped me become a better cook.
Sonny I would love some other variations of burritos too or even a whole Mexican food series that would be awesome and much appreciated! Keep up the great work!!
Sonny... you are great! Cooking ....cleaning... whatever it is.. you have a great attitude and you love what you do! ... and I learn alot from you! Thank u brother for everything!
This is one of your best videos. I hope that I will bring myself to make this happen so I can have delicious and easy-to make-breakfast everyday. Thank you Sonny and Shaun
I literally just found your channel. I spent my time away from society during the pandemic learning how to cook all of the awesome foods I enjoyed out in the world, and I know you can help me along this long and winding road. Consider me Liked, Subscribed, and hungry for more!
When you are subscribed to the BEST COOK on UA-cam and he makes..... Breakfast Burrito which are an "AMERICAN National Treasure (Sonny)," with a flour tortilla recipe from his brother's MEXICAN restaurant located in the UNITED KINGDOM!!!!! Man is all inclusive!!!!!!
Just a heads up if you add a small amount of white vinegar say 1/4cup per gallon of boiling water. It will help keep the outsides of the potatoes firm even if you do happen to over cook them. I use to work at a Cafe and this was how we did it everytime.
Breakfast burritos are my all time favorite food that I couldn’t live without. I will definitely try this tortilla recipe too. Back when the world went on lock down 3/20 and most of us downloaded TikTok, Barrio Comida was the first account I followed! I haven’t traveled since 2020 but vow to visit that place when I finally do, especially the tasting room downstairs. Thanks for all the super content you put out. My steaks are perfect now, all the time (IYKYK) and I’m sure my breakfast burritos will be too.
I live in Newcastle and me and my dad watch your videos separately and always discuss! Now we can go taste some food you have made and is local to us! Excited to try your brothers restaurant!
For the garlic, try smashing then cutting the stem half off and pulling the skin off with the partially cut stem. It works great for me. Thanks for the video. I'll try this burrito this weekend.
He's wacky and pretty intense but such wonderful recipes and the mention of gooseberries??...Man, they use to grow wild near my neighbour's place North Western Ontario...loved them and one of the ladies in town made gooseberry jam one year. It was so different and delightfully good that thinking about it now almost make me want to crah! :)....(and the same goes for crabapple jelly...and haven't seen it in years!)....and agreed, my favourite salsa ever...so delicious!
Haha! I live in CO, I’ll come do your dishes if I can watch one of these videos live, It would definitely be worth it! I’ve made so many of your recipes and I’ve never been disappointed. I’ll throw in a free dent on the fridge!
Dude. Me and my wife love so much to see your videos and your recipies. Next weekend will be buuuuuuuuuurriiiiiiiiiiitooooooossssss. Cheers from Switzerland.
I've been looking for green and red salsas to try, I did not expect to find them here. And I don't think I've ever been so excited. Thanks man! (Always a fan of breakfast food, especially burritos with crispy potatoes 🤩)
I’ve made 10s of thousands of tortillas and I love the way handled the fat, delicious. I always go full European butter with rub in method. The only thing I’d recommend is when forming your tortillas form them like a Brioches à Tête and for the same reason (clearly you leave the head off). Get the gluten structure forming so when you roll them out they are perfectly round with little difficulty if you any good with a rolling pin.
Oye! Beautiful tomatillo salsa. Lovely tortillias. Here in NM we use a lot of just plain green or red chile (or Christmas tree). Potatoes same way but with onion and sweet, yellow and orange peppers. We agree with you on the eggs. We're spoiled with the tortillas. The ladies here make them perfectly round by hand. I've watched them and still don't know how.
I’m definitely gonna try that salsa! My other favorite is just a couple roasted poblanos, a roasted habanero and half a pineapple all blended up with a little salt and lime juice. It’s another fresh and summery one with a bit of heat, so good for recipes like this!
Your kitchen skills, always impressive. But your knife skills, damn! I'm getting better, but I will never get the chance to get any way near your level. You've made cuts ,slices, dices thousands, tens of thousands, probably hundreds of thousands of times? I've probably driven over a hundred thousand railroad spikes in my 15 years on a logging railroad, and people were pretty impressed watching us drive them with our spiking mauls. I have learned so much from your mastery of your craft. Thank you.
One of the top five UA-cam content guys, Sonny! Great job dude, the perfect ratio of education and entertainment. Sgt. Gilbert... yes, yes...a sentient pepper mill but... ...what is he really?
Holy moly my stromboli dude, I love you!!! Your editing skills are so good that someone should hire you and pay you big $$$ to edit and make insane tasty treats. If I had the capability to do that I'd do it in a heartbeat. Cheers and please keep kicking the crap out of that fridge.
That's right, brother
Besides, 2nd comment

I just want to say great job with all the editing, filming, dishes and floor sweeping. I appreciate you even more now that I know you’re a 1-man-show!
Dear Sonny,
you have genuinely improved my cooking skills and I have learned many things from you. After all, you’ve made me try making a steak for the first time ever- it turned out great, of course! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and the fact that you do it all for free!

Homemade tortillas setting up the flavor for the whole dish and that salsa 🔥

Great meal prep guide! First time making my own tortillas today wish me luck!
You got this! Just make sure you roll them as thin as you can

That tortilla recipe is absolutely fantastic. My wifeys new fave meal! Keep doing what you’re doing Sonny. Love!
Half controlled chaos, half super informative cooking video, the perfect balance ❤️
This is so good. Hahaha. My favorite cooking channel, by far.
Agreed!
Flour over corn all day
@CjJohnWynn for burritos yes flour torts are the only way to go... cornt torts for everything else is mandatory.
Loved your video! My kids want to see more of Master Sergeant Gilbert!! Will definitely give the burritos a go…thanks from Australia!
Let's see, the bacon is from Germany, the Fontana is from France, the tomatoes from Spain and tortillas from Mexico. I love 😘 America

Hey I live in Newcastle and I’ve been to Barrio Comida. The food is incredible and I love going there with my family
I have learned so much about cooking from your channel. I really enjoy what you are doing. You are a treasure. Thank you.
I live in Newcastle and me and my dad watch your videos separately and always discuss! Now we can go taste some food you have made and is local to us! Excited to try your brothers restaurant!
I make a similar green sauce, but I use jalapeños instead of seranos and I throw in some plain yogurt as well. It’s so good!
For the garlic, try smashing then cutting the stem half off and pulling the skin off with the partially cut stem. It works great for me. Thanks for the video. I'll try this burrito this weekend.
Thank you!
Your channel is the best. I'm learning how to cook instead of eating fast food.
The chaotic energy of this on 2x speed when you busted out the pepper mill faces and then the fridge kick. Love it
Excellent, entertaining and very knowledged! Keep it up Sir!
Always.. always.. ALWAYS! My favorite channel Sonny !!!
Dude, you're fun to watch bruv. I've learned a lot. I love watching people have fun while cooking.
You had me at all of the above, Sonny. 🙌🔥🤟 This looks crazy tasty and filling.

If there's one thing we love in Colorado, it's a good breakfast burrito!
Nice job, Sonny!

Great looking food and spinning kick.
Your roundhouse kick is on point bro . Great recipe! It’s the small things that you do that make your food look and sound delicious.

The first 2 Steve-o impressions were spot on. All the others sounded like beavis and butthead lol but those burritos looked amazing!!
And here is the comment I was searching for. 😆
That Dude Can Cook:
My Hero !
This video is the greatest! Thank you Sergeant Gilbert!
Hey Man, I’ve been to Barrio Comida in County Durham - close to Newcastle, it was fantastic. Didn’t know he was your brother.
I like to shred my potatos and squeeze out the water with paper towels to dry them out. Get super crispy
Love this guy's energy.
Love your channel, makes me hungry and giggle. I do feel sorry for your fridge!
Dude
I love your whole vibe and your videos are a treat.
Big love from Wales 🏴 UK
I'm Mexican and I approve of your tortillas!!
I came here for a recipe I left with a new subscribed channel. That round house kick alone deserves it. You are not only a great cook but hilarious.
its literally the perfect cooking video. So detailed and beautiful
Your kitchen skills, always impressive. But your knife skills, damn! I'm getting better, but I will never get the chance to get any way near your level. fontina is the hidden boss of cheese. one of the best in so many applications
One of the top five UA-cam content guys, Sonny! Great job dude, the perfect ratio of education and entertainment. Sgt. Gilbert... yes, yes...a sentient pepper mill but... ...what is he really?
