You can go to the freezer section and get a burrito for $1, $2, or $2.50 but does it honestly taste that good? NO! Not to mention when eating out these plump boys are $15 and that's just not right! Do not worry though, we're going to fix that with the perfect 2 dollar burrito.

Problem is you can really only shorten cooking and prep time so much. Cooking is literally a science, and you can't really skip steps outside of like... Using pre-prepared ingredients. Which, that's perfectly fine.

The problem I, an defenitely others, have is, that I just dont have enough time to cook papas recipies.
Besides from the cooking, buying all the groceries takes a lot of time.
However, i would love to eat good and health food. Therefore i hope Papa can show us recipies with less and simpler ingredients, easier cooking techniques, etc
Those meals would defenitely would not taste as great, but they would defenitely still be worth it :)

I use betterhelp and have a great therapist. I'm working through PTSD, so its not a scam girl. Maybe they had some scandal before but definitely real. Also have you looked into the cost of psychotherapy? Its about $120-$200 an hour in Canada. I pay less with Betterhelp than I would walking into an office anywhere in my city. Theyre definitely amping up advertising and partnership but the world is still dealing with a pandemic which for a lot of human beings (honestly the lucky ones) this will be the worst trauma and the worst experience with mental health they ever have. People have lots their jobs and homes and beyond that just coping with the impending stress that your world or someone's you loves could end very easily and also everything has changed and wont be going back to how it used to be. And my 'Professional' Therapist is also a Professor at NYU and a social worker for Veteran Affairs for 15 years. Maybe do your research first. Also recognize it can be damaging to people who are looking for help when your shitting on a company you watched a youtube video about and haven't used yourself. That's how misinformation is spread.

A couple suggestions (this looks extremely tasty btw) unless you're cooking for a group, this is a very involved recipe for a single serving. For the best bang for your buck in terms of ingredients and time commitment, you can make a larger batch of these and freeze them to get frozen burrito convenience but gormet burrito flavor. All ingredients will freeze just fine, and you can reheat in toaster oven or air fryer, hell even microwave will do a decent job of reheating, but will make the tortilla more steamed than crisp.
I would recommend using cheese to glue the burrito shut by lightly frying the seam. I also like my burritos lightly browned and flattened both sides but that's me personally.
Rinsing rice: no need for fancy colander. Simply use the pot that the rice cooker comes with and swirl the rice with the water, and dump out the starchy water three times. You can cook rice by weight if you use a scale. The rice to water is still 1:2 ratio, so if you use 200 grams rice, use 400 grams water. FYI a serving of rice for a rice bowl thing is about 150 grams, and for your burrito because other ingredients, more like 90 grams.

If you rinse the rice the scale is no longer 1:2 unless you're weight the rice beforehand, rinsing, and then adding water until you get that 3x weight. If you add 2 cups of water to 1 cup of wet/rinsed rice, that's going to be way too much water. It's really more like 1:1.25 after rinsing.
