I have used several mounts, including the quad lock. The Tech mount is by far the best I have used. I have done over 2K miles on each of the mounts so that gives me a pretty good idea of how they perform. Quad lock works very well but the Teck mount is rock solid, and no need for a specific case or mounting a piece on the back of a case. I have never had any damage to a phone from vibrations with the tech mount either. I used a Tech Mount on one bike for over 20K miles and never once had an issue. No issues so far with the Quad lock either, I just don't like that I have to use a case with a mounting plate attached to the back of it. Teck mount has been easier because I can stick any phone or case in it and just be on my way. As far as vibrations go, I think it is all about where you mount a holder more than what holder you use. Don't mount to your handlebars, and you get fewer vibrations. On my 1200GS, I have many mounting points, my other bikes are a little more limited so I do use the handlebars to mount to. I use a Teck mount on the handlebars as they stay more solid than the Teck mount as far as the phone vibrating about. I like my screen to stay put, not be vibrating, and make the screen jiggle around. The vibration damper on the Quad lock shakes a bit, but the tech mount does not. Personal preference. Both Tech Mount and Quad Lock seem equally reliable, I just prefer the Tech Mount. The other mounts I have used are not in the same class at all,. including Ram mounts and a few other cheaper style mounts.
Thanks for your reply , i have same problem with you , I don't like back plate in quad lock and now I'm looking for new phone mount but my phone is Galaxy z fold 3 is foldable phone , it's very thick when folded and too large when unfolded , I'm don't have Idea what phone mount are reliable to not destroy a phone camera. But when i see your reply ,i will try to mount phone at the bar upper TFT screen and use Ulanzi ST-29 to hold my phone.
Nice mount for a motorcycle but for an ebike it not rough enough since it does not have shocks like motorcycle and have drive over everything like curbs, potholes and ebike falls.
I was looking at quad lock but the mounts they offer would not allow me to mount on my bars. though if i had legit T-bars they would work for sure, but as for the FXR Division Motorwitch bars its not possible.

That’s a very nice phone mount and yes let’s see your bike.
Excited to see you making bike videos again brother 🤜🔔🤛
I have one on a gsxr 600 and I’m a crazy rider n I have one of these…it works perfect it’s makes sure ur phone is tight in between both clips
Would be nice if they made ones for 2” thick bars.
Let’s see the bike!
cheers mate, Legend
Quad lock..you pay the $$$ but it's 100% locked in & wireless charges.
+1 on that - Quad Lock is OUTSTANDING! Been using one for quite a while now with zero issues.
Quad Lock is THE best. Sorry Moto Pilot.
Nice mount for a motorcycle but for an ebike it not rough enough since it does not have shocks like motorcycle and have drive over everything like curbs, potholes and ebike falls.
Mine finally gave up after 5 or 6 years of abuse. Luckily I saw the crack before I took off
do you know where i can get my streetglide staged two? near Riverside
Appreciated Motopilot. Do you think it would be fine on a naked?
Totally
@@MOTOPILOT6 Make that appreciation #2. Take care.
I wonder if it will go around 1 and a half inch bars? That's the problem I'm running into with my rokform mount. It sucks.
Your bars are huge! Fits up to 1 1/4”
What radio you got in that bike?
It's a full upgrade using the Metra inner fairing to accept the Sony double din radio. Such a nice upgrade over the stock CD player. Lol
Totally disagree. Quad Lock is definitely THE best and I've tried at least a dozen mounts.

Thanks for the video. I have a 99 dyna wide glide with no windshield. Would this phone holder keep my phone tight on highway speeds? Thanks...
Totally. Mine never moved. Just make sure everything is tight.
@@MOTOPILOT6 Thanks brother!
Got a cheap rubber one on ebay 5 years ago like 10 bucks had no problems with it.
