I notice people saying they blew past him loving the soup, if y’all had seen the full episode, he actually praises the chef for that soup and encourages her to do better with the other stuff, he saw potential with the chef after eating that soup.

At least she's not delusional or has a sensitive ego. She doesn't seem embarrassed when he tells her what he thinks. She seems to be agreeing , taking it in, and kinda disappointed as she should be but it's good she wants to change.

1 out of 4 is a winning percentage in kitchen nightmares books. It may have been 3 out 4 if they had used better mozzarella and not burned the bread bowl and iced the meatballs.

Frozen ingredients are often cheaper as an attempt to increase the supply, especially with proteins. Likely these suppliers are hoarding when they're selling frozen proteins.
