Well, you must be a premier magician because it worked like magic for me once I ingrained it into my swing. Shorter backswing and an effortless down and through swing with a little early left hip twist. Thanks, JC! I always learn with your instructions.

I always try to copy your swing and I kind of find hard to make a square face at the top of the backswing.
it looks very closed at the top. I do not have a strong grip but fairly natural. not weak grip.
I kind of have amount of bowing on left hand like you at the top.
is it related to grip size? apparently you are using a oversize grip and weak grip.
Thanks @jchowngolf! My question is, does this work with the driver as well? I've had it hammered in my head to elongate my backswing and a big shoulder turn with the driver. This seems to contradict that though, but I'm glad to go at it if that works with a driver. Great content, keep it coming!
