I've been watching advice on UA-cam for years, but haven't made much progress. This is the best advice I have seen and extremely well presented. Thanks.
I think this is the greatest golf lesson I've ever seen. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and being such a positive force in the sport. If i could recommend to any of my friends just one golf video it would be this one. And i will!
Applied just the first posture tip at address at the course yesterday. felt a lot more comfortable and hit so much more consistent than my previous rounds
Mate I just purchased your skillest course on this. I have been told a few times to bend over more as I was TOO upright which was my (same as your) fix to stop but I should have stuck with it and it started to cause back issues from being too hinged over at the waist. This video makes me realize I was correct in my previous posture. Excited to watch the masterclass.
I noticed myself standing up in the downswing so I put a bendy lamp a few feet in front of me and tilted the plastic lampshade towards me so I can put my forehead on it and do a swing and really feel how it feels to stay down. Feels like way more than it actually is!
Great vid. I've been afflicted with second one (elbow stuck behind which forces me to steepen in transition).. Started fixing it by feeling my hands moving away from me. I guess It's just a feel but if it works..
Hi, I clicked on your link for FIXING YOUR EARLY EXTENSION MASTERCLASS and signed up to Skilltest, but it says no course found...? Many thanks for your help.
@jchowngolf, the biggest problem I have is variability in my swing. Sometimes I can hit a pure shot, sometimes I hit the turf then ball, and other times I hit the ball and completely miss the turf. This is the most frustrating part of the game because it feels like I have no feeling of subtle swing differences that would account for this, and obviously no way to correct it mid-swing. Could you please do a video on ways to reduce swing variability. I do know about removing behaviors or swing components that can introduce variabilty - understanding the problem is not the problem : ) - it's having the detection and control to overcome the variability. Maybe this just means I'm insufficiently athletic?
If you fully rotate/clear your hips, you’ll stay in your posture automatically. Also, if your head gets past the ball before impact, you’ll be forced to stand up to make contact. Make sure you can see under your ball at impact. Your posture (or distance) will be maintained as a byproduct.
They're think about spinning instead of squatting. If people could get a slight squat to recenter instead of just shifting all their weight forward. To me it's squat while the club is still going back the momentum of your swing will take your weight to the lead side
Did I missed the fix for having a open club face on the downswing at P6. I saw what happens when you make contact by having to stand up to adjust and be able to have the hands catch up with squaring the face at contact, but not how to avoid that open club face at P6 that puts someone in that position in the 1st place. I assume it's caused by the lead wrist being cupped.
I’ve had a problem a long time that on my way down I start to stand up and I even lift my heels up and go on my toes. It’s so hard to get out of that habit
Bro…can I email u my shitty swing and have you take a look and tell me what drills I can do to fix my crappy swing before I quit playing golf? I know I cross the line and then get steep and then also early extend. I’ve managed to keep a single digit handicap but I know my swing is crazier than matt wolf and furyk. I want to get my backswing to stay on plane!!! Heeeeeellllpppp!!!
Also make sure you aren’t too close to the ball. I always worked on my form but didn’t understand how my arm wasn’t straight or why I was standing. Move back a tad and give yourself room to work

Getting an actual lesson really helps. I did UA-cam for years and finally got a lesson and it’s made golf fun again.
Great video! Early extension has been my biggest flaw. Brilliant drills!

Thank you very much for the kind words, awesome to hear you enjoyed the video!

Awesome to hear mate. The course will be great for you! Keep practicing hard 🤙🏻
All the videos have useful information. Now it's difficult to organize them into what to watch before practicing!
Thanks for my posture training/correction. Only been doing it wrong for years and reason for sore lower back. Thank you. Swing will go to pop now haha
Congrats on 100k!
Thanks man 🤙🏻

That sounds like a great drill, awesome!
This is amazing.
I've been videoing my swing and I definitely have the right elbow issue

For how sketchy your backyard is, you are absolutely amazing 👏 🎉 #respect
Early extension is my biggest swing fault. Quite a few things here to think about next time I'm at the range.
Very Good !
Thanks Jonathan, yes I can now see it in your profile
Great to hear Glen, glad it got sorted 👍🏼
Great info thanks!
Is that a PXG sweater?? I love it whatever it is.. GREAT TASTE
Another great video, thanks! What grip trainer do you recommend?
Thanks Jeff! Sklz golf have a great one 👍🏼
very good video
Thanks Peter!
"Stand tall and watch your scores fall" I also have videos of myself dropping my head at the start of my downswing and then have to stand up to clear.
What golf shoes are those?

May just be a glitch Glen. If you go to my Skillest profile, it will still be there when you scroll down 👍🏼
Id like your opinion on something i think if you allow your trail hip to beat your trail elbow to the ball its nothing but early extention
Just watch your reps on the way you say is wrong the trail hip goes before the elbow has time to catch up
I didn’t even know i was supposed to stay down. Until i watch a few videos and noticed this.

This is the video for me
Link is not working. Saying "course not found."
Hey Scott. Seems to be working fine on my end
Where did you get that green net?
I’ve had a problem a long time that on my way down I start to stand up and I even lift my heels up and go on my toes. It’s so hard to get out of that habit
Hi
Do you still do actual lesssons?
All my lessons are done via Skillest. There’s a link in the video description 👍🏼
Cheers 🙏🏻
Guilty for number 1 and that causes 2,3,4 and 5 😄😄
Early extension course is not found??
Use the link to my Skillest profile, you’ll find it there 👍🏼

I do online lesson Patrick, we can get you sorted. There’s a link in the video description that takes you directly to my online coaching page 👍🏼
Skillet link isn’t working
I’m on vacation. It will work once I’m back 👍🏼
Course not found!
It’s on the front page of my Skillest page 👍🏼
standing up is a result of being "guidey" with any stroke, including putting.
If anyone knows why I stand up I'd love to know. None of these apply to me.
Also make sure you aren’t too close to the ball. I always worked on my form but didn’t understand how my arm wasn’t straight or why I was standing. Move back a tad and give yourself room to work
you look like you just came back from a construction site and started dishing out some good golf tips...
😁👍
Thanks Milorad!
Staying down is not the problem it’s through the shot.
Thanks UA-cam commenter golf swing expert!
