I paid the $550 and i do not regret it at all. Sound is great. Construction and aesthetic is the best of the bunch by far. Well worth the money. i have many headphones and consider myself above average when it comes to knowing the difference. These are very good cans.

I got the blue ones coming on Thursday and could not be more excited - I know it’s too expensive but it will fit so perfectly into my apple ecosystem & I’m sure they are going to sound great as well🤣🤣

I have only had the AirPod Max for a few weeks but I still think the Nuraphones edge them out. The AirPods Max win hands down when it comes to controls, my Nuraphones are too sensitive. The whole sharing thing within the Apple ecosystem is what will make me keep them. You would think for 549.00 Apple would have included a better case and some nice accessories. I found that by the time I had purchased a case and ear covers I’m approaching 630.00.😳
How loud do they get at max volume? I’ve looked everywhere for an answer to this.
I don’t have an official answer (like actual dB) but for me they are loud enough. I wish they went one tick louder though, for those rare moments of passion 😂

Great review...I was shocked myself I have the Bose 700, Sony Xm3 and Xm4, Blue HIFI, Master and Dynamics, Bose QC35, etc...Yes I am bankrupt (lol..just kidding) but when I got the same space gray I found myself putting away all the others and now they are my go to headphones...Pricey yes but when you are addicted like me I should have stopped at my first set of headphones years ago..Thanks for the review. Oh like the Emmy in the background!

So is the price really right or did Apple make a smaller quantity and price them higher to test the market? How many of the pairs they had were bought up by reviewers and others with far too much money. I’d also argue since they don’t break down they would be rather large to travel with for some.
Yes I’d love to have a pair but can’t ever see paying over $400. I have last years Sony’s (WH-1000XM3) and beyond the fact that they suck for phone calls I love them for music, movies, etc.
Loved the review though, that opening with you listening and commenting with the headphones on, very entertaining.

if your'e going for sound quality. this aint it bud. look away! my $169 PC38x sounds a tad bit better than this and that's a gaming headset. tuning is ok but it lacks detail. im not saying the product is bad but for 550 and youre expecting a hifi audio, dont just dont.. not bad for a bluetooth cans though.
I’m totally with ya - my Beyerdynamic DT770s crush these. And those go for $170! It’s just the Bluetooth category we’re talking about here
if you want the best of the best in the bluetooth category functionality, sound quality and youre in apple ecosystem. yes this is for you! that's if you have $550 to burn. outside the states that's $100-200 more. crazy!!
