Great job! I’m growing cactus seedlings under 24 hour per day LED light and they are growing well. I wanted to try that and a few different things that I thought about as a kid. Now I’m 60 and have time because I’m retired. I have a cactus that I bought in 1974 when I was 12. I have to bring it inside because I live in Washington. It’s nice to hear you use names that I recognize. I thought I was the only person who was into cactus like that. Thanks.

This was very helpful, I bought a cactus planting kit and was worried the instructions wanted me to put too much water in the soil, but now I know it was a good amount!

i fill my cells shaking in with a screen box made of hardware cloth. that mixes the soil a bit and catches the too big stuff. u like the 72 cell packs because if just one comes up per cell, no pricking out needed

Excellent video on practical seed growing tips. I just started growing 100 Astrophytum asteria seeds and this was helpful. I've questions about how many hrs of lights, etiolation, aeration, humidity, fungus, etc and don't want fail! We're you located? I'm in Cali! Thanks for sharing your techniques and experiences!

Im glad your method works for you, lol. So many things piled around, so messy. This video made me realize just how OCD I am lol. It drove me nuts that things were so messy. I hope to grow some succulents and cactus from seeds in the future. This video had great info, a little scattered and rushed. Great info though. Thanks. A little nerve racking for those with OCD anxiety issues I guess.

So, like, do these seeds never actually grow in nature? It seems like they have so many requirements that can’t be fulfilled in a desert.

I think the answer might come down to microclimates, but that's just a guess

Can I have names or links of where to get seeds? Please.
Also I’ve kalenchoe that blow off mother of thousand that blow off in the garden. There are fungus not mushrooms yet but they have spores and spread easy. How can I kill the things I don’t want I can over the kalenchohoes (mother’s of thousand etc. that blow off the plants in strong winds. I can typically protect them by conversing with a plastic dish to protect them. My desire to to rid the mushroom with out spreading sporeWill vinegar work. Thank you kindly. Up to protect them. What will work? I’ve heard growing in. What else can I spray on the weeds / mushrooms that like to grow on wood chips,I that will turn into huge massive mushrooms. Plus weeds that also spread spores so pulling them just creates more. Is there anything I can spray the with that’s not toxic. thank you TrudyCan you recommend a good succulent book or app to identify various variations and types of succulents. Thanks in advance.
