Haha the explosion when you put it down. I just ordered one online and can’t wait to play it.
:) let us know how the new model is like.
I received one of these as my first guitar as a gift last year and I haven't looked back. Of course, I consider purchasing a full-size acoustic at some point, but for now this is suiting me well as I practise at home and develop the muscles in my hand that will allow me to play on a larger guitar.
It's a great guitar to learn how to play with. Very gentle on the fingers :)
You will find that bigger guitars with longer scale length will be harder to play (even with the lightest strings), but don't give up - you can tune it in D - which will make the strings less tense and will be easier for you.
Good luck!
Thanks, I did wonder about those
Great video. Thanks for making it.
I got one myself! Nice little guitar, and i see what you mean about the sound ;)
I was really stuck between buying this or the Fender Parlour guitar. I really liked the headstock on this. That won me over. Nice review.
You know what? - so did I! :))
And now that I've played both I can tell, that the parlour has a richer and better tone in general, but the sonoran plays like an electric guitar (almost) - and that's great.
(This was the channels first video!!!)
Good review. Nice
samxday thanks!
Nice review my friend! :)
ENRESINADO Thanks!
Guitar Lover 🤗
It's the action low? I am an electric guitar player and I'm looking for an easy to play travel acoustic. I've read that you have the parlor also. Which has the lower action? Could you do a comparison between them? (In terms of size , playability and sound) It"s hard to decide, please help !
P.d: I know that it's hard to find on stores but I found a place that only has two left. So I would appreciate your answer!
Hi! Playability wise, you will feel comfortable on the mini. It's great and feels a lot like an electric guitar (use 10's) but the Fender parlour sounds better... you can't have the best of both worlds on one of it. Sonoran plays better, Parlour sounds better. You have to choose :)
But answering your question, I can get quite low action on the sonoran.
Hey guys, looking for some help, one of the tuning pegs / machine heads popped off due to a couple of loose screws and immediately went down a drain. I'm looking to replace it but have no idea what type of part I should be looking for. Could anyone point me to a suitable replacement or the info I need? Thanks in advance
No idea. Mine work fine. I guess gotoh must have something with a reasonable quality an affordable.
I didnt really get that quite with the Pressure on the fingers...
so it aint smooth or soft at all when I pLay it?
thx
It is quite smooth and easy to play comparing to other acoustic guitars
What is the action like on it when it’s New??
Also do you tune it exactly the same way as a regular guitar, E A D G B E .....??
Can't remember exactly. It was in 2016... but was pleasingly playable. I didn't adjust it back then. So I would reckon about 1,5 - 2 mm on the 12fret.
I already used in open G and open D, but it's now in standard tuning
You have sold it to me. I plan to get one next week. 👍🏼🎸
How heavy is it?
Si Pi didn't meant to sell it :)
But I still love it and it is still hanging on the sofa all the time.
It weights 1,6kgs. (3,5lbs). It's light.
I hope you enjoy it! Let me know your thoughts once I get it ;)
I got one
hi, i´ve really small hands, is it with this guitar easier to play like a normal size guitar? is it different to play with this fretboard? greeeeez from austria
Manuel Harlander The straight answer is - Yes, it will be easier.
Although you should be able to find 4/4 guitars that can also feel confortable to you. My son is 10 (so he doesn't have big hands) and he plays many of my 4/4 guitars (he's favourite is a PRS se)
Guitar Lover cool thnx for the answer👍
Is the Sonoran better? Or gretsch gin rickey
I preferred the Sonoran. The gretsch felt more toy like.
How tall are you...? I'd like to get an idea of proportion...thx. :)
1,85mts. It's like a parlour size guitar
Scale, nut width, fingerboard radius?
All details on the description. Except fingerboard radius - couldn't find it anywhere on the web. (Can't u understand why a brand doesn't offer the complete specs on their web page...)
Fret radius - 12""
How much does this guitar cost
Back in 2015 - 129eur with gigbag.
So when can your son do a review on it plz
My son is teenager now and couldn't care less for guitars :(
He only cares about his girlfriend and is video games :)
@@GuitarLover such a shame! Tell him to listen to The Darkness and rock and roll will save his soul! You have an awesome mustache dude! Well I have the Fender Sonoran now and a Gretsch Jim Dandy is on its way in the post! Looking forward to playing it.
@@philosophy4242 There's no salvation possible for his teenager soul. Hormones are stronger! :))
Let me know what you thought of the Gretsch.
Neck is mahogany not maple and top is agathis not spruce.
The specs were copied from Fender website back in the day... maybe they changed since then.
the guy from super mario too much talking
Rude!
