Love your channel PJ and respectfully disagree. I own a Ferrari and Tesla and appreciate both experiences. I am probably the exception as I am a car guy, not poor, and think the FSD is a waste of money (never thought it was good at what it was supposed to do or worth what I paid for it). I love that the Tesla (daily driver) can be "filled up" at home to avoid wasting my valuable time at a gas station and dealing with that experience. I also love being in pole position at a stop light, fully accelerating on the green light, and not sounding like a hooligan as I get away from the crowd of cars behind me. If I need an exotic car experience, my Ferrari is always available to put a smile on my face too.

    You are totally wrong bro!
I used to be a total Tesla Bear. Never liked EVs. But in early 2022 jumped on the band wagon after waiting in negative 10 weather to fuel up my Range Rover for $175. Yes $175!!! Another issue was it took me 2 weeks to get an oil change for the same car for another $225. Yes $225!! Then the start stop failed. The dealer could not find the issue and never could fix the issue.
After buying the model Y I bought Tesla stock. That’s how much I like Tesla now. The model Y is not a perfect car but that just shows me how much potential the brand has. But for the price you literally have Lamborghini acceleration with a sound system better than a $125k Range Rover. The car is soo good it makes you lazy; no braking anymore, no keys, all the technology is usable and truly amazing!
Also seen the videos regarding charging issues. I feel you need a at home 220V charger to get the full proper EV experience. If you are charging at super chargers then you will get charging issues like you’ve seen all over the internet. But if you can afford a $50k car you can afford to spend $500 to $1000 to get a 220V charger in your home.
So while an EV car is NOT for everyone it is perfect for us, so perfect we bought another model Y last year.
Btw: only been to the dealer to get air in the tires on both Teslas. Nothing else went wrong with either car that have 20k and 10k miles on them.
    Good luck!!

Except, H2 Fuel Cell Vehicles are 25% as efficient as a BEV, in total energy use.
We have no "National Hydrogen Fueling Infrastructure" , unlike how we pretty much have a "National Electric Grid!"
So, no, Hydrogen Gas (H2) isn't a "Solution" for any Car, Pickup, or SUV. Nor for almost any other Transport Vehicle, including Trucks, like Semi's! (See MAN Trucks Pivot away from Hydrogen, to BEV)!

    • @TheKingkingg
      @TheKingkingg 4 місяці тому +2

@robertweekley5926 that is nonsense and even if true...fact is EV-IL needs materials to be mined which are bigger than gold mine which needs destroying ecosystems, then there is exploited African people including children working in extremely dangerous situations for European countries and America for minerals including gold too getting paid peanuts for an elephant 🐘. Then there is transportation of raw materials, then manufactured process which is real environmental impact, then after life of 10 years of batteries, then there is cost of defective batteries, then there is charging which in most cases bad sources of electricity, then there is strained grids, etc. Not because oil and gas companies fight against hybrid systems or hydrogen powered technologies means it's worse, it means they are worried and will do things to manipulate and sabotage hydrogen powered technologies

Congratulations on your channel, I admire you guys that have a voice even though you are not true experts (sorry not meant to insult you). I'm a 48 year old car guy, who has owned cars with a choke and a stick shlift. For many years I had the pleasure of going to Manheim dealer auction and have had the good fortune to drive litterally thousands of cars . I currently own a 2013 Ferrari 458 Spider, A Tesla Model S, a gladiator Rubicon, Model Y, 19 Miata RF GT-S manual, 15 Cayman GTS Stick and 59 Lincoln Continental. I have owned M3's, real AMG's, Maserati, Aston Martin, Bently (hate them, made me feel douchey but I had to do it once) Mercedes Audi....I also own a mechanic shop...enough of my credentials. My Tesla Model S is OVERALL the BEST car I have ever owned, Yes there are better cars that serve a specific purpose and I understand that the fit and finish is not to the German Standars yet . I have no desire to ever go back to a Mercedes S, Audi A*, BMW 7( I was once a BMW fan boy and still am of the pre 2006 in line natural engines). I don't consider myself rich but I can afford to drive anything that is not a Hyper Car. It is unfortunate that most people nowadays do not take the time to learn about the second most expensive thing they will spend their money on.
That being said I think the average person should either drive a Prius, a Ford F150, a Model Y or Model 3. Heck even the rich drive some of these cars :). I have geeked out with my spreadsheets as I am an economist by trade and given the right situation (can charge at home with a favorable charging rate at night like I do with Georgia Power) we should all drive a Tesla.
Did I mention I own a European Mechanic shop?

"Tesla is a luxury car for poor people."
Luxury isn't just about price, it's about avant-garde features, cutting-edge technology, and a unique experience. By that definition, Tesla offers a distinct luxury even if its starting price is lower than some traditional luxury brands.
"...not every man watches football... for some the TECH inside the vehicle is the most important selling point."
Tesla isn't just about entertainment systems; it's about autonomous driving capabilities, advanced battery technology, and seamless software integration. These features push the boundaries of what's possible in a car, appealing to tech-savvy individuals who value innovation.
Whether features are "useful" is subjective. What matters is Tesla's commitment to pushing technological boundaries. Even if some features aren't for everyone, they represent progress and pave the way for future advancements that could benefit all car owners.
Tesla's innovation isn't just for the "poor people" buying their cars. It benefits the entire automotive industry by forcing competitors to innovate and pushing the adoption of electric vehicles and self-driving technology. This ultimately leads to a cleaner, more sustainable future for everyone.
Reducing Tesla's value to "a luxury car for poor people" ignores its significant contributions to technological advancement and the future of mobility. Tesla's impact extends far beyond individual ownership, and its focus on innovation benefits everyone, regardless of their income level.

This is just not in touch with the reality of actual tesla buyers lol.I like most of your take on exotics. But your points here are not accurate 1. tesla made cars faster to say f u to lambo owners, no electric cars are just faster because of how torque is created. 2. The model X doors, well no because the model s was out for half a decade before the x came out. At the end of the day tesla made it because primarily it was the first to market company in electric cars with backing from a famous successful business man that has been successful in almost everything he does, anything he promotes like doge coin does well and thats a major reason not because the doors on the x etc. Premium price with touch screen gimmicks in 2012 and the cars did not have any major break downs and problems helped as well, first to market cutting edge technology of electrics and self driving etc not because of the reasons you mentioned my friend. And you love calling people broke. Tesla is for broke people. Unless someone can afford your garage than their broke, calm down a little on calling everyone poor and in turn your saying your so much richer basically, little arrogant to be honest but maybe you think it sells more views rather than quality knowledge and content with flashy toys and products. But your good at reviewing exotics though so will still follow unless you keep calling people poor and make stretching opinions like this lol But i doubt you will, all the best! lol
