I'm a BMW fan, but that Porsche sounds epic, and looks amazing too. They are all fast cars, and fangirls arguing about one being 10mph faster than another is a bit pathetic, or 2 tenths faster to 100kph, grow up, they are both very fast cars. I find Audi's boring, but appreciate some people love them. Ultimate speed or acceleration on a nice flat, straight, piece of tarmac is not really the true measurement of a good car, it's about how it goes around corners, and how it makes you feel.

I have the GT4 RS in my collection, as well as the 992 GT3 (manual) and the 992 Gt3 RS. Wish I lived there! That said, even though I own a 2023 GT4 RS, I'm getting a 2024 this summer. European delivery. So perhaps I'll get on the Autobahn after all!
Is it just me, or did that RS7 sound particularly dastardly at 1:26 when it went by. I live in Charleston, SC, and for some reason we have a particularly high concentration of high end cars driving around here like it’s nothing. It used to be that the week after a new Top Gear I’d often see one of the incredible cars they were testing. Huracans, McLaren 750, 650, Merc AMG GT, Bentley Continentals, 458s, 430’s, 911s are dime a dozen, R8s, and Model S have been common here since about 2014. But I’m a musclecar guy, and high compression, stupid tall cam, earth shaking cubic inches. That’s my preference. As far as Hugh rpm zingers, I’ve heard 458s rev to easily 7500+ in traffic, and that sound is bonkers. So one day in traffic heading onto our beautiful 1.5 long Ravenel Bridge, I heard what sounded like a F1 car up ahead. It reminded me of the Top Gear where they drove F1 cars through London. I tried to pick it put, and I was sure it was a race car on the street. So what did I see? An RS7 just screaming through traffic, fastback roof looking sleek, and what truly sounded like a Ferrari . Nothing like it.
That RS7 is just menacing, relentless, always there, always gaining. If the movie, IT FOLLOWS, had a car avatar, this black RS7 would be it. Eventually, it's curtains.

The other one is a lightweight backroad/track car that with no roof reached a serious speed and it is super fast being 4.0l 6cil natural aspirated at 9k rpms. Total different cars, for different purposes. Give me the screaming and driving feeling of the Porsche I can get several heavy GT cruising cars with turbo through different brands.
That 9krpm engine is insane! But it belongs on the track or a quiet mountain road, not the autobahn. And a manual transmission would make it complete 😁
you have to live it at least once, this is such an AMAZING feeling to find a random friend willing to do a pull at 300kmh. Getting pretty rare those days !
