Since they test these on the Nurburgring, are these not basically track hardened right out of the box? My partner got an SI 2022 and I’m much more impressed with the latest offerings over the 10th gen. They’re feeling like approaching Audi levels of refinement in the way they drive.
You probably need to increase your tire pressures to make up for the increase in side wall, so that there won’t be as much flex and that feeling of lazy handling. Just a suggestion. Of course, the increase in tire pressure can also make the car grip a little worse (slide more). It’s a delicate balance.
You need a set of new coilover. The handling will still be less sharp whatever you do to the car tho. Mine has 265 35 18 on all 4 corners and KW v3. 37 front 33 rear
@@christmasisawesome9348 raise your pressure above 40 and the lazy handling goes away. It’s the cheapest alternative, albeit with some gains (better fuel economy, and easier acceleration at higher speeds) and some setbacks (less rolling resistance=slightly less grip when turning and acceleration). @TheTopher My brother's going to reach out to see if you want to drive my Elantra N. It's ~320 whp (just a tune) in SCCA TT S3 spec (basically just wheels and tires, race alignment, tune).
